Smash Hit Burgers has upgraded from food truck to brick and mortar (food truck also still in operation) To be quite honest, when I first tried a burger of the food truck, summer of 2025 I wasn't terribly impressed. It was fine. Even so I was excited to hear the news of a restaurant opening in the downtown Kennesaw area. The space, which occupies the former Nest, is awesome. A ton of outdoor seating with a fireplace, swinging bench, and TV. The inside dining area is mostly bar area with a small "dining room" off to the side. It has a great vibe with lots of fun art. There is a full bar offering up cocktails as well as a sizable craft beer selection. The menu is full of street fare and burgers, which you would expect obviously. We thoroughly enjoyed the two burgers we ordered. Both were cooked to perfection with a nice seared smash and decently seasoned. Flavors popped, cheese was melty. Service started nicely, but then there was a long wait, and the waitress didn't check in. The place is a standard American-style bar with music posters and albums on the wall. Okay, let's get down to the food Appetizers: Brisket deviled eggs - the BBQ sauce was way too sweet, really overpowered the dish. You could not taste the heat from the pickled jalapeno or the red onions(these were not pickled). Also, the brisket was a chunk, which was mostly fat. Mains Cowboy smash burger - again, the BBQ sauce was overpowering. And the brisket was meh--nothing special about the burger. The side we got was the hot Cheetos street corn. I think the Cheetos dust was soggy and tasted stale. It would have been better without the hot Cheetos dust since it did not add anything and only made it taste off House smash burger - it was okay. There was barely any of the burger sauce on the burger. The side we got was fries. They were cold and tasted stale. Like, kinda squeaky, stale type. Not sure why Charred street corn salad- it was okay. The dressing was really watery. Looked like a soup. And there was so little corn that the waitress said they must have forgotten to put it in. Overall, the appitezer came out fast. But it took about 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive. And the waitress did not check in to see if we needed refills. Finally, the wife and I are not up on the THC delta 8/9 products since we do not partake in that culture. My wife ordered a mango margarita, thinking it was a cutwater or casamigos canned margarita and we did not realize this was a THC product. Would be nice if the waitress or the things on the table clearly indicated that these drinks are that. I know they have the THC on the end of the full name on the drinks flyer but unless your head is thinking that it easy to not make that correlation read more

Delicious! Can't wait to go back! We have dined at this newly opened location twice and both times have been a hit. Awesome location in downtown Kennesaw. Wonderful customer service. Every staff member we encountered was so welcoming and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Delicious burgers. I personally loved the Backyard Smash Burger (simple, but so good!). My husband enjoyed the Cuban Smash Burger (it's huge!). The loaded tots are really great and have the perfect kick with jalapeños and pickled onions. We also enjoyed the truffle Parmesan fries. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and also have a bar inside. I believe they're opening a milkshake bar soon as well. We can't wait to go back! read more

The ambiance is comfortable - nice covered outside spaces and some interior available as well. Live music! The service was rather nice. Attentive, polite staff without being in your face. My beverage was never empty. The food is mostly limited to burgers, but that's okay since they do a great job at it. But the reason I decided to write this post (which I never do) is to say their buffalo cauliflower is incredible! My wife ordered it and I wasn't too interested, but when it showed up, it looked great and I was compelled to try it. wow! it was good! *LONG* Visited this place tonight. We used to go often when it was the Nest, and after they closed, we were excited to try this place. Sat outside. Hostess seated us. They had heaters, which made it comfy, although the one to the right of our table was not on. * I am a terrible judge of age, but the staff that I saw working there all looked like they were 16 to 23. Manager as well. *Waited 7 minutes to be acknowledged. The hostess, Dashia came back to our table and took our drink order. She said they were short-staffed and people were still learning. She ended up being our waitress, and she was awesome. We ordered a beer on draft. A Blue Moon on draft should always be served with an orange. I asked for one and was told you didn't have any because the truck didn't come today. I ordered the Slider Flight, and my husband got the Brisket Chill and Beer Cheese Smash Burger with a side of sea salt and cracked pepper roasted potatoes. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. The waitress that delivered our food asked if we needed silverware. She brought 1 silverware wrapped in a napkin. Well, there are 2 of us. *Why bring only 1 silverware? Food was hot and tasty. The slider had 3 choices. I chose the turkey, the pimento, and the mushroom and Swiss. The turkey was my favorite; the jam was delicious. The pimento could use less or no pickles. And the mushroom was disappointing, as I wanted more of just a portabella and Swiss and less burger. Just a few things I noticed that I would like to let the owner or management know * Make sure your guests are greeted within two minutes * Make sure there is a plan of who is serving what table, the Hostess ended up taking our table, and she was exceptionally awesome. Dashia was knowledgeable and had suggestions about the menu, she asked us if we would like an appetizer which is a great upsell. She checked on us often. Refilled our drinks promptly. We were very impressed with her. * Already mentioned make sure a blue moon beer is always served with an orange * Make sure your staff understands your website when it says VIP sign up and you can get something free, what is free? Make sure your staff is knowledgeable when a customer asks about that. * Make sure silverware is already rolled at the table before someone gets their food. If not, and there are two people seated at a table, your server should bring two sets of silverware properly rolled. *I did not get set of silverware. The person that delivered the silverware to my husband was the manager. I like to have silverware so that I can cut my burger open to make sure it is not raw. It is awful to get your food and not have silverware to eat it and have to search for someone. * There was a large table to the left of me. They ate and finished their meal and I witnessed the waitress cleaning up their table. She took two of the halfway rolled up silverware that looked somewhat unused and took them back inside, probably to be served to someone else. This is a violation of health. * The last door leading into the bar area, when opened almost hits the table that is right there. There was a table of six when I opened the door and almost hit the guy sitting there. * I was looking around and there was someone on their phone at the bar that finally looked at me and said, "Can I help you?" And I said, "I'm trying to find the bathroom it used to be over here". She said, "it's behind the red curtain" and got right back on her phone. That is extremely strange. There are no restroom signs, and for your manager's sister to say curtain has a very strange connotation to me. She could have taken less than a minute to direct me to the bathroom instead of her phone. Make Sure the bathrooms are monitored. There were paper towels on the floor when I entered the women's restroom. * Suggestions, Top 4 (there are more) -Get a Manager that will TRAIN your staff. You seriously need it. I ran a bar for several years and was a corporate speaker and trainer as well. If you're interested in talking to me, you can reply. -Rearrange the room so table is not so close to the door in the bar. -Silverware, TRAIN staff how to roll them the correct way and place it on the table in an outside environment so it doesn't blow away. Train on proper procedures of silverware and you can avoid health code violations. -Remove curtain to ?Bathroom? Put up a wooden door, something that matches decor. A sign is definitely necessary. read more
