I finally pulled up on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, and honestly, the sheer scale of this place is hilarious. The parking lot alone is a whole ecosystem, and the inside looks like it can comfortably seat half of Metro Atlanta with room to spare. I came with a serious appetite, so I went straight for the classic heavyweight: the Roast Turkey Entrée (all white meat). Now, when the server started listing out everything that came with it, I thought there was a glitch in the simulation. For starters, you get a soup and a salad. I went with the chicken noodle and a Caesar salad. The chicken noodle hit the spot--properly seasoned, warm, and comforting. The Caesar was solid too, crisp and fresh. But then the main plate arrived, and I'm pretty sure they harvested an entire farm for this one meal. Generous portion of white meat turkey, a mountain of mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a side of broccoli (gotta respect the greens). Every single item on that main plate was absolute perfection. Tender, savory, and cooked with actual respect for flavor profiles. My only real critique? The bread basket. Look, I don't know what happened there, but that roll was completely devoid of personality. Tasted like straight oxygen and flour. Unseasoned bread in 2026 is an absolute tragedy, but thankfully, the whipped butter spread saved the day and gave it a purpose in life. Between the massive portions and the endless menu options, this place is an absolute unit. You're definitely leaving with a take-home box the size of a carry-on suitcase and a strong urge to take a three-hour nap. Great energy, fast service, and legendary portions. Oh my goodness, it was just as incredibly delicious and outstanding as I remember it being, if not even better! Every single bite was a pure delight. It was a small piece for the price and it wasn't great. If it was delicious, I wouldn't mind paying. The slice of cake was a decent size but was also nothing special, although I think it was enjoyed more than the pie. I also have mixed feelings on listing the cash and card prices. I get it, but I'd rather just know I'm going to be paying a whatever percent convenience fee for using a card.

Decent place to pop in for lunch. Good selections on the menu, prices are reasonable and service is prompt. There is plenty of off-street parking. I think they open very early and close mid-afternoon, so this is not a place for late day dining. read more

At $1.45 & $1.75, respectively, for a *small* hashbrown triangle (about the size of my index finger, and I don't have large hands) & cup of grits, I certainly won't be ordering those again. Without the aid of my home air fryer, the biscuits are no longer crispy and pillowy, but rather soft and doughy, signifying that large batches are made in advance and kept in a warming oven. My order was pretty simple and should have been ready within minutes, but instead I had to wait about 10 minutes in the drive-thru. With that kind of wait, I would expect a freshly baked biscuit, or at least one that had been freshly toasted (see above). Burger Inn used to be one of my favorite breakfasts in Woodstock, but like so many restaurants, the prices are keeping up with inflation, and their quality is declining. It makes me sad that a locally owned establishment has fallen from glory to mediocrity.

At the end of the meal, I glanced and saw the health score and if I recall, their score was in the 70s. I've since looked at their health score history and see they have no intent in changing behaviors of cleanliness, as they've been repeat offenders of improper holding food temperature, cross contamination, and use of open container beverages among food prep areas. What can you say? You get what you pay for, I guess.
