I want to start by saying that it is very hard to disappoint me with a burger. I am generally happy even with a sub-par burger, but this experience has literally been the worst. The "hand rolled ball of meat" as quoted by the restaurant was so dry and flavorless I could barely swallow it. The only present flavor was an exuberant amount of salt guaranteed to give even the most fit human being a heart attack. The bun was stale, and clearly had failed at trying to be softened by the ridiculous amount of butter added to it. I'm not even going to get into the rest of my families opinions here. But was the quality of "food" the worst part? NO!, why would we stop there? four meals were ordered, and not a single one was correct, doubles as singles, regular fries for specialty fries, items not even received. How is this company even in business? I really hope the CEO of this horrendous franchise is reading this because this is unacceptable on every level. Smash burger? First off it took forever to get my food. Staff did not seem to care that they were taking a long time. Then, I brought my burger home and it was completely the wrong order, even though I had double checked with the staff member working. Fries were soggy. My wife and I tried to have lunch here today. We waited in line, and when it came time for us to order they asked us if we were taking out or dining in. We wanted to stay and eat, but they wouldn't take our order because the girl at the register couldn't immediately see any open tables. Before we could even decide what we were going to do they moved on to the people behind us. Burger purists need not apply: if you order a simple plain burger, you will be disappointed. That being said, their crazy burgers are amazing. The topping-combinations on these burgers are thoughtful, and always high-quality. Always tasty, although the core hamburger components become somewhat of an afterthought. Went here a little while back with my girlfriend. I've heard people rave about Smashburger and I will say that we were disappointed. May have been our high expectations but even if we did not have any pre conceived notions about SB, this franchise is average at its finest. For the money we payed, we should have just gone to Five Guys for twice the burger for the same amount of loot. The patties are seasoned differently than other franchises which may be their niche, but outside of that there is nothing special about this place. The milkshake was solid but only spent the $5+ on it so I could say I tried it, because that is one of "their things". To top off the whole trip, as we were about half way through our meal, a women went raging up to the register exclaiming that there was a bug in her bun.. I don't blame this franchise so much as I blame the Corporate side of Smashburger for sending visibly tainted product to one of their franchises. The staff had no idea what to do when it happened as they stood around and talked about it like a pack of high school students (can't say I blame them). Take out due to Covid-19. They were completely undermanned. Only 3 employees working.(2 cooks and one lady putting the orders together) the lady putting the orders together was completely overwhelmed and had zero organization. I had the spicy jalapeño Baja burger. Burgers come cooked to one temperature. It was enjoyable to eat, especially with the chipotle mayo! Neither the fries or burgers were greasy. Fries were a bit on the cold side, but not a deal breaker. Next time I plan on ordering the smash fries, with rosemary, garlic and olive oil. Meant to order them for this meal but made a mistake while ordering. Wife had multigrain bun, not a big bread eater but enjoyed it. Her's had blue cheese, spinach tomato and onion. line went almost out the door but hey must be good burgers. ordered and had to wait about 2 minutes for our seat. burgers were very good. the fries, not so much he got the Buffalo fries they weren't bad but once you got to the bottom of dish too much spices could not even eat. It was ok. The flavor of the burgers are great, but one order of our fries were hot and wonderful while the other was cold and rubbery.

The line was out the door when we arrived, but moved relatively fast, maybe 10 minutes. Only one register seemed to be open though. After sitting down, it took maybe another 10 minutes for the burgers and fries to come out. My burger and toppings were decent and the fries were fresh and crispy. With the $5 off $12 coupon (from their email list), it was certainly worth the try. I would certainly try it here again (probably with coupon) and try another of their sides. read more

I reached out to management to rectify the situation and never heard back. Did an online survey as well, never heard back. From a local standpoint, to a corporate standpoint I'm officially put off. I think over the last year the quality of food at this location has decreased because looking at the pictures people posted a year or 2 ago, our food ordered today did not look like it - portions got smaller and quality is not there. So this is what I saw in my "to go" order after I got home: kids' cheese sandwich - burnt, uneatable, my kids refused to eat it; kids juice boxes - missing; burger - the meat was paper thin, everything else was also on a small scale, looked like it was just thrown together; Cobb Salad with chicken - chicken was missing, salad was a portion of a side salad that for sure should not cost $8. Smashburger is a chain, and can vary depending on which one you go to. This is is OK, nothing exciting. They have quite a few options of different kinds of toppings, their fries I had (the smash fries) were really good! They did almost give my boyfriend a reaction, due to them not telling him they butter the bread (he has a dairy allergy) even though he clearly stated it to the staff, lucky he looked more online and found this out confronting them before eating his food. That is really why I am giving it two stars, the food is pretty tasty but the staff isn't trained well knowing what is in their food. Every time I am near there I choose Corelife over it, so it really isn't a place I choose to go back to when I am near. I would not tell you not to go, just make sure you do your research before if you have an allergy (even though their online allergen menu is pretty bad the way it is set up). This place is pretty average, not as good as most other burger/sandwich joints but there isn't too much competition in that area so if you want a burger it is pretty much the only choice anyway. read more

Went to Smashburger on a Tuesday night. The place was packed! Line was to the door, no tables were available when we placed our order. Some patrons decided to quick grab a table while the rest of their party ordered, which succeeded in holding the table for them, but did nothing for the flow of occupying tables as after ordering it takes around 20 minutes to get your meal. During that timeframe people who actually had food to eat could have been sitting at the table being "held" but of course, that's not the restaurants fault. I dock stars because the fries were lame. Small little things and the regular serving size was pitiful. The beverage machine is located in a weird spot behind some wall near the bathroom. Poor planning IMO. Also the restaurant is super small but has lots of outside dining space. Great for the summer months but as for right now, everyone gets crammed like sardines in the small indoor dining area. We paid $38 for 3 burgers, two orders of fries (1 lrg, 1 reg) and a kids meal. Pricey for the quality of the food and dining experience. read more

Both times I've been here I've had the bacon avocado burger which is very good. The Smash Fries with rosemary and olive oil are a delightful twist. Smashburger isn't terribly spectacular and a little pricey for what it is, but the food is good quality (they use angus beef) and doesn't make me sick, which is my top priority. I don't understand the complaints I've heard word-of-mouth. It's a perfectly reliable burger joint, and you know what you're getting at a place like this, which I appreciate. read more
