Took my German colleagues for some American steaks. Europeans always marvel the CP value (size and quality) of American beef. It was a win and everyone had a great meal. We were 7 so I put our names in the waitlist (no reservation) and 5 of our party arrived early. Unfortunately they do not consider you until the whole party arrives. The 7th thought we would've seated without her so she didn't show up until half an hour later. Once we told the hostess our party was complete, we waited another ~15 to get a table. You can imagine those who arrived early are getting impatient. Good thing is that our server put everyone at ease and host-crisis averted! Almost everyone ordered steak and everyone was super happy with the quality of meat. Of course the Texas size overwhelmed us and seeing so much leftover was sad (all staying in hotels and no way to take doggie bags). I have been to a lot of Texas roadhouse before. I usually enjoy them thoroughly. Tonight we came in close to closing. Granted that's not always optimal. This time however, it was not good. Our server took forever to take our order. It took quite a while for our drinks to come and then finally the salads that we ordered. We waited over 30 minutes for us to arrive. In the meantime that everyone around us was cleaning up their station and see what happened Our waitress was too busy doing her side work to check back on us or see if we needed anything else. I had the ribeye steak and it was cold when it came to us. The potato was old like it had been sitting there all night. My sister got the sirloin and shrimp. Her food was also cold. She ended up taking it home with her. You usually know what you're getting when you come to one of these establishments, and you are good with that. Wanted a steak. This experience was very disappointing. I don't live near here so I won't be returning to this location. I've been to other ones that are better. Judge for yourself. read more

Went to this location when we were in town visiting family. Very standard ambiance as the others I've been to. If you haven't been to a Roadhouse before, be prepared for peanut shells on the floors. Free bags of peanuts are hanging by the hosts booth- you help yourself and start cracking, shucking, tossing the peanuts on the floor and eat away! Staff was super friendly, bathrooms were ok (a busy place though so the bathrooms really could use some attention) and music playing was great. Now food- we had 7 people and 5 ordered the filet, one ordered the steak kabobs over rice and then I had the prime rib. The steak kabobs along with one of the filets were asked to be cook very well done, and needed to be returned for more cooking- (to be honest I only saw the kabob and it was really red still). The manager came over with the returned food and our waiter and apologized wholeheartedly- not necessary, but really nice to take the time to do. My prime rib was excellent, the only thing I wish they would change is their au ju sauce, it didn't taste like the real drippings from a cooked prime rib but some sort of jar type with added smoke flavoring- not great...at all. No alcoholic beverage were ordered, a couple people had a tea or pop. Overall great dinner. Split the bill three ways with each group paying $68 something each- plus we left a $50 tip- so $250 ish total (so about $40 each). Give this place a try, not bad! read more

Been ordering rolls here forever... I typically buy a couple dozen every now and then so my kids can snack on them. I noticed it has been getting worse through the years... I mean, I know inflation is a thing but come on now! First of all, the rolls do not taste like they used to, I am sure they are skimpin on something with the ingredients, then they are baked uneven, some are burnt and some are underdone... and then the size, oh me oh my!!! What in the world??? I gave an extra star for service because even though I was irritated the service crew was somewhat polite... I complained about the size and he said at first that they have been getting smaller. After I pulled the "mini me" roll, he gave me another bag with 4 rolls. I can understand if these are being given free inside the restaurant but if I am buying them for $5 a dozen. You have got to do better Royersford Texas Roadhouse! I did not get what I paid for. Terrible service. I came with my husband on a Saturday. It wasn't super busy. It took the bar almost 10 minutes to approach me!!! Asked the lady respectfully at the bar to remake my drink and she gave me terrible attitude. Couldn't remember the name, young with black hair is what I can recall. I never experienced someone so rude and ignorant to a costumer. I will be back to hopefully have a better experience, and a new bartender. read more

This was my first experience at this Texas Roadhouse location and I will say it does not meet the standards of other locations. The food was good but there were many mistakes made during our experience. We had ordered the combo appetizer with wings, rattlesnake bites and tater skins. Everything was delicious except we ordered the tater skins with bacon on the side and it came on top instead. We also had to send our server back and forth many times for missing/incorrect sauces and dressings. Most of our group ordered ribeyes. Two of them had to be sent back because the temperatures were way off. We had ordered MR and MED and received MW and Well Done. A manager did come over with new Ribeyes for us and the temperatures were perfect and the steaks were delicious however nobody seemed to be apologetic rather l, annoyed by us for their wrong doing. It's safe to say we passed on desert but from experience the apple pie is delicious. While the food is very good and affordable it's always a terrible feeling to be treated unwelcome as a paying guest. It felt as if they didn't care to win us over. I will be back to a Texas Roadhouse but very unlikely back to this location being that we were visiting from out of town. A great place to celebrate birthdays with friends a family. read more

My wife and I went early within 1/2 hour of opening. The server was very nice and courteous, but that's about the only good thing I can say of the experience. It all started with our drink orders. I ordered a double Dewers on the rocks and my wife ordered one of their menu drinks. It took a long time to get our drinks and when they arrived my wife's was fine, but mine barely filled 1/4 of the rocks glass. They insisted that it was a double and that a shot is 1 fluid ounce. According to every source I could find on Google, a shot is 1.5 fluid ounces. I refused the drink. We ordered our food. Again, it took forever to get our food. I ordered the ribs and they came out dry and overdone. The "loaded" potato barely had any sour cream and shredded cheese. read more

This is an awesome steakhouse chain. Blooming onion appetizer was very good. Steaks are displayed in a display case in front of kitchen, from where customers can choose the steak they want for dinner. Steaks get flame grilled to order. Every table gets basket of fresh baked & buttered rolls with cinnamon butter. Salmon is available as a healthier option. Sweet potato and steamed broccoli were great sides. Homemade brownie served with vanilla ice cream was pretty good. read more

Zero STARS! Let's talk about disgusting , over salted food that certainly was under a heat lamp way too long. Fish and chips was cold when it came out and had a layer of what should have been sea salt but definitely looked more like rock salt. I've been to many diff locations and dining experience with them has always been positive. If you go for your birthday, they make you sit in a saddle and they sing to you. The recent Saturday night that we went, we waited 45 minutes for a table of two. We munched on endless peanuts while we waited. I love the bread with cinnamon butter at Texas Roadhouse; it's endless! Got the $42 special which came with an appetizer and two entrees. We got the cactus blossom, 8oz sirloin with fall off the bone ribs (came with two sides), and a 12oz ribeye (came with two sides). Stopped here on my way back from an r&b concert. While I don't want to ever see that date again this is a restaurant I'll never forget. Steak perfect. Fried pickles consistent. Bread to die for. I'm not sure if they are all like this... at first I was a little disappointed to go out to dinner tonight because most of my normal "local" places are closed early due to Covid and I'm not a fan of big chains. It must have been an off- night. My husband and I called ahead and waited with the "customary" peanuts for another twenty minutes (really not bad on a Saturday night). When we were seated, we were shown to a booth in the very back. I thought this would be a great sign, as the noise level is always high (again, expected - it's part of the venue). Well we couldn't hear each other at all. Ok, so be it... our waitress was friendly. I ordered a margarita. My husband had a soft drink. We didn't really have much of a chance to ask for water. We did order fried pickles. The pickles didn't arrive until we had to turn around and look for someone. The dinners came shortly thereafter. And one of the managers did come by. I think that lately I have been expecting too much from places that seem to be too crowded. I was a server; I am empathetic . I would much rather have a longer wait time instead of being seated when servers may have too many tables. If you plan to go, try earlier or a weekday if you want a quieter environment. It's been quite awhile since I've been to Texas Roadhouse. I don't really remember what my experience here was like so I figured it was about time I refreshed my memory. All I can say is, it's good to be back! Our service was good from start to finish. The waitress was fun, friendly, and always smiling. The manager even checked up on our table to make sure everything was okay. All of the food was just as good. Complimentary bread and peanuts are served as soon as you sit down. The cinnamon butter served with the bread is fantastic! For my entree I went with the BBQ Chicken & Ribs combo. I was very happy with my selection. Look, I understand that right now things are different as we all adjust to life dealing with the notorious C.O.V.I.D. but at the same time if you're going to stay open and take orders there has to be some semblance of quality control going on. This past Saturday I placed an order via the TR website for their curbside pickup. I just used this two weeks prior for the TR that's closer to my house near Easton and things went very well. Why didn't I stick with the same game plan? Because when I tried to order from that location the website said that they were out of chili, pork chops, BBQ chicken and six ounce sirloins for starters. I made the mistake of placing our usual order at this location and then adding on the 20 minute drive to get here. I showed up a few minutes before the pickup time of 6pm to a total shit show sea of humanity. The restaurant looked legit open there were so many cars in the lot. It was total unorganized chaos. Cars were waiting back on Hamilton Blvd. to get on to the property just to wait ?? for their orders. Speaking of waiting. As I mentioned prior, I showed up a few minutes before the scheduled time yet as soon as I got there I knew it wasn't going to happen. It doesn't take a PhD to figure out that when cars are streaming in and no one is leaving it's going be a while. The correct food showed up at my window at 6:48. Yes indeed, a 50+ minute wait from when we checked in. No need to complain about that as several other people were and I didn't see anyone getting their food any faster. The two cars parked next to us were there when we parked and were still there when we left. Also fun were the two false starts when the same staff member tried to give me another person's order twice. Because I guess Chris C. is the same as Chris P. or Chris D.? I almost forgot the food. The medium well cheeseburger was flamingo pink on the inside, the herb crusted chicken was shoe leather dry, BBQ chicken came without any BBQ sauce on it and the pork chops were sans the peppercorn sauce. In other words a total strikeout. I know that it's a rotten time to wizz on the restaurant industry but if you're charging full price and taking the business you can't seriously expect people to wait 50+ minutes for food that is not done as requested/expected/ordered and realistically expect them to come back. read more

I came here to Texas roadhouse today for my son's birthday we had a party of six. It was very busy at this location however we were seated quickly and the server came over right away . Our server Mackenzie was great from start to finish . Our drinks were kept full and she was on point at every turn . The food was outstanding and I'm still in shock I got this level of food and service from a corporate restaurant. They did a birthday shout out for my son he was embarrassed of course but it was great . Shout out to Mike for doing such a loud and cheery birthday shout if for my son . I've eaten there twice 3 years apart. Someone I was with recently wanted to dine there. Both times I left without eating. My filet mignon was like a raisin. Small, hard and I didn't even want to cut into it, however I did. It was dark brown on the inside. My grandson's birthday dinner. His food was fine and we left without me eating dinner. That was the first time. The second time 3 years later it was the same exact experience. Small, hard and looked like a shriveled raisin. I sent it back immediately. They brought a new one and it was exactly the same. Didn't even cut into it. I had ordered a medium rare filet mignon. Bad experience and it ruins it for the rest of the party. A great place to go for a quick bite to eat after work, or for some beers and steaks with friends. To-go orders have always been consistently done, and the quality for the value is hard to beat. I like to Lee it simple with an 8 is sirloin, Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes, with a bucket of bread, and am always surprised that it tastes better and is cheaper than if I tried to make it on my own.
