Excellent burger, and great service!! It was my first time there and I will definitely go back.

It was a Friday afternoon so I was definitely expecting quite a line. However, it actually went by quite quick...the longest part of the line was a mini human spawn being held by her mother that couldn't decide if she wanted chicken or a burger. While it is no reflection of the business, I will say, it is not hard to find "free birth control" in Utah County. Once that was over, everyone else ordered and the cashier got everyone in and out. One thing that was kind of odd, is it didn't seem like I could get a single patty burger; even the smallest adult options were all double patties. I am not a double patty kind of girl but I can suck it up hehe. They had lots of tater options, which was awesome. Originally, I was going to get fries but the cashier quickly veered my decision to be tots instead. That's okay, I love tots. I got the smash tots mostly because if it was legal to marry garlic, I would've been happily taken years ago. The price was iffy...my meal was about $14. It was just a burger, drink and fries. Not only that, it wasn't one of their gourmet burgers or anything special, it was the plainest burger I could find. The tots were good but they definitely could've hooked it up a bit more. I found the cup of tots to be quite small lol. The soda machine was also out of most flavors so that was slightly annoying because that isn't something people will notice until they have already purchased the drink cup and they are over there. Overall, I thought it was an awesome visit and the service was definitely pretty awesome. The girl cashiering was super sweet and the food came out pretty quick. read more

It took 40 minutes to get our food. Once received the bun on the burgers were cold as if they were in the fridge. Cheeseburger tasted burnt. Overall pretty disappointed in the wait time and food quality. read more

Chipotle fried sauce is really gooood !! I couldn't stop dipping my fries with that sauce. I think this place is nice for casual dates because it has a nice interior, fast service, great hamburgers, affordable and easy access from the freeway. It is also a good place for families and groups of 4 to 6 people, if it is bigger you might need to arrange your sitting ... if not busy I think that is an easy task; first come, first serve. read more

Quick burger place it is pretty decent. It takes a little bit to make your order but at least it isn't sitting around cold. My kids liked their kids burgers. I liked the buffalo & blue cheese. We tried a dipping sauce we thought we asked for fry sauce and got something a little different but still good. Prefer this place over JCW. read more

We stopped at Smashburger yesterday at Thanksgiving Point Lehi Utah It was the worst ever. There were no monitors to order from there was run off copies laying on the rail. The seats on all the benched were so ripped that we couldn't even sit on them We ordered and when our food finally came that had set on the warming light for about 5 minutes cause there was only two people there which half way threw the one gal took her lunch sack and drink out the front door and left with one guy there There was like 4 people behind the grill laughing and talking in another language and not really paying attention to the orders. Finally received the order and I ordered the All American Smash it had No onions No pickles and so much mustard on it it was dripping out of the bun after scraping most of it off so I could eat it, I got towards the middle and the patty was raw. The fries were warm The restrooms in the womens had no toilet paper and no soap. I wonder how the employees returned to work after there visit there. Worst experience ever. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's so slowwwwwwww. The only redeeming quality was the kid at the register, Braddock. (I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong) He hustled and tried his best to make everyone's experience good. I'd give him the golden star! read more

Maybe I just got the right thing but I thought this was pretty good. Certainly better than some of the other reviews I read. I really like the buns here. Light and airy. I also think the charbroiled patties have a nice crisp salty taste that accents the beef well. Get the double patty though because then you'll taste the meat more than bun or sauce and that is key to having a better burger experience. The sweet potato fries are tasty, nice crisp outside with gooey tender middle. I also like the rosemary fries but be warned that they have thin shoe string fries not fat fries like a lot of people like. Decor is clean and inviting. Staff were a bit lifeless but efficient. I'd like to imagine the employees were just in a bad mood perhaps because they got called in to work a shift they were anticipating. I'm going with that theory to help me try to forget the way we weren't really welcomed as guests there. The person taking our order was far from friendly. Then, the employees who brought our meal to us were visibly put out when we asked for our drinks, which we ordered, and more condiments. And when I asked for some lettuce, pickles, onions and mustard to be added to the kids burger I was told that wasn't usually included on the burger (which I am certain my husband requested when ordering). However, with a pouting attitude he told me he would get it for me. I have never felt like I was such a burden at a restaurant before. I mean, really? Are they not called "servers?" We had just finished our burgers and fries, when finally our oreo milkshakes arrived. At least, that's what I thought we ordered. What showed up was a form of a vanilla milkshake with maybe one oreo used per shake. Very weak on the oreo addition. The food was good -- overpriced. I wasn't expecting to pay $85 to feed my family, but hey -- you gotta try it once. ONCE is enough for me. If I am treated like this every time I come here, I don't want to return. I've given Smashburger a go a few times and each time I come out thinking "it's ok, but if I'm going for a burger there's a few others on my list that I prefer". The service this time was not good. We called our order in ahead of time and were given a time to pick up. We get there and they hadn't started making it. We had to wait 45 minutes. So good and a really good price. The food is sublime and has a ton of extremely good options. The employees are extremely nice and will even give you tips on how to make it cheaper even when they serve you food they complement you it and it's just so nice. The ambience is pretty good. A lot of the time it's pretty empty but you can find it most packed in the night. It's a really fun time. Definitely recommend getting it. read more

We went here for a bite to eat after hitting the Luminaria at Thanksgiving point. When we arrived the place was a bit less than half full and there was no line we went straight to the counter. The reason I mention this was what was to follow was not ideal for this level of business in the place. Our wait to order as I said was insignificant and the guy taking our order was great, very helpful for those of us like myself that had never been there before. We were given a number and took a seat to wait. A quick note on that. When I sat down I almost fell down. My seat was in the corner and while the floor wasn't visibly dirty it was clearly covered in grease. I'd imagine that whoever is in charge of mopping the floors here is not the king of attention to detail. I don't even want to consider what that says about the places overall cleanliness. An interminable wait later our burgers and fries finally came out. No shakes though, just the food. The burger was OK. Nothing special, just OK except it was DROWNING in mayo. Scraped a bit of that off and it was an average burger. The fries were fine. I'd like to say more but I really can't. It was just bland. Well after I finished my burger my shake finally arrived as we were getting ready to leave and ask for a refund on it. It comes in a cup with the metal blender cup on the side with the "extra". Which normally I love. Sadly this was not one of those times. First of all if the "extra" is just a splash of stuff that you didn't put in the cup but could have, don't bother. Secondly, a strawberry shake should taste like I dunno, strawberries? But again, not much on the flavor front. Also, while I appreciate that the shake was an actual beverage and not what they call a shake in Utah, ti should have some thickness to it, this was closer to vaguely strawberry flavored milk. We went to this location for lunch today. What a wasted of time. Paid for my order and waited for 20 minutes for no food. They said it would be another 10-15 minutes before we'd get our order. I asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere. I watched several people come in and walk away. I know help is hard to get these days, but this was nuts. I also wanted to use my points, but they have some idiotic policy that takes them away if you don't go in as often as they would like you to. How Does this place stay open? Never again will I enter one of their locations. read more

I love smash burger. They have one of the best truffle mushroom Swiss burgers out there. It's a nice CB environment to eat at or have take out, but they could do a little better on there fries and side items; Thicker fries with truffle would be better and fried mushrooms or cheese curds. read more

The Smash burger I had a nice and juicy patty! I also loved the fancier bun and their delicious sauce. I was surprised the kids burger came with no toppings or condiments, but I guess I should have payed closer attention. They also forgot to give us our drinks for the kids meals which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but we ordered from DoorDash so we couldn't just ask for them. I love the burgers and fries at Smashburger. Both their normal fries and their sweet potato fries are delicious. I love the buns that they use; it's not just something cheap like other restaurants use. I love that they use green leaf lettuce, and not just iceberg. You can tell that they use good ground beef and not pre-made patties, which makes a huge difference. In this particular Smashburger you get a great view through their many windows. It's a very open restaurant and has a modern feel to it. read more

Smash Burger makes a good burger. The fries are great as well. We came here for a work lunch and had about 10 in our group. While they have good food, I don't recommend this place for large groups. There just isn't available seating for a group larger than 5 or 6. Luckily we found multiple tables and were able to make it work, but it was a pain to get our food to us and distributed to the correct person as we had to spread out a bit. The parking here is also atrocious from noon to about one thirty. This parking lot just isn't big enough for all the people around here and it gets really packed during lunch time. I didn't pay for this meal, but I think that I can still give it a fair rating as I've ate at other Smash Burgers. The Smashfries are great. They are tossed in oil, rosemary and garlic, which seems to be quite the popular thing to toss fries in lately. I wish they had more types of sauce to dip them in though. They have ketchup at the table, but I find ketchup to be boring. I asked for a side of their chipotle mayo to dip my fries in and they were very accommodating and quickly had it to me. I had a Spicy Jalapeno Baja burger. The jalepnos were very fresh and the burger was well made. The chipotle mayo was a good compliment to the rest of the burger, as was the pepper jack cheese. Guacamole was good and I dipped my leftover fries in the parts of it that fell off the burger. It took them a while to bring us out the food, but I don't know what else you can expect with the lunch rush over there. Anywhere you go near here is going to be packed. I also ordered a nutter butter shake. I asked for it to be in a soda cup with a lid on it, instead of in their traditional shake glass, because I didn't want my co-workers to be jealous. It came out as a to go shake cup, placed inside a red glass soda cup. Not really what I was going for, but we had a good laugh about it...until I realized I had a much smaller shake than other people because of how small the to go cup was compared to the regular cup they give it to you in. Oh well. For a burger and fries you're looking at around $8-$9 pre-tax. Add a drink or shake to that and you're over $10 a person. It's a good place, a little more expensive than other chains, but I think it's a good value for what you get. read more

I didn't realize this until I got home with my order, and when I called them, they said there was nothing they could do. I even spoke with a manager. Shame on me for assuming that this was going to be just another burger joint. My husband and I ordered SALADS that totally rocked. The food at Smashburger is on point. Always fresh tasting high quality ingredients. I really like that they have a ton of options that are customizable. The best part is their website with their nutrition menu in which you can add and remove items at will (including minor things like butter on the bun) and it totals up your calories and macros. I've had both their chicken and their burgers and they're both really delicious. The chicken portion is generous and they get a great sear on the burgers. I love love love their fries. The regular fries are super thin which is my favorite and the sweet potato fries are cooked perfectly so that they're soft and fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Their smash fries are equally delicious albeit greasier. This particular location is what brings down the rating. Every time I've been there the tables are dirty and covered with old food. They just don't seem to have enough staff to handle the lunch crowd. Today I tried to bus my own table and couldn't find any trash bins. On top of that I find their prices for what you get are a little high. I got 3 kids meals and just a chicken sandwich (not a meal) and still ended up paying $30. Overall it's yummy and fairly healthy but I won't be making it part of my regular weekly lunch rotation. read more

This used to be my favorite burger place! I don't know what has happened to it. The burger was dry and over cooked. The sauce was lightly used. The fries have been changes from the delicious skinny ones to what looks like McDonald's style. However they are still as good as ever, which is why I gave them an extra star. It's sad, I used to love this place so much more, corporate price cutting often gets the best of the quality of food that makes restaurants great in the first place. Also not sure why but they ditched the beehive burger which was fun when you traveled you could get different burgers in different states. Probably another cost cutting blunder. Their food is tasty enough for me, but the only reasons I have eaten here are because I had a coupon and then a gift card. It's too expensive for what it is, which is like a five guys or in-n-out or some other kind of in-between burger joint that isn't fast food nor is it a sit-down restaurant with waiters. The employees seemed nice enough, but not really trained or maybe they just didn't care. My girlfriend ordered a chicken avocado club with the bacon on the side and the multi-grain bun switched out for an egg bun. When we got home with our food we found that the bacon was on the sandwich, the bun was still multi-grain, and for some reason the avocado was in a container. The receipt was correct (it said "sub egg") and we heard the cashier tell the cook to put the bacon on the side, but as our food was nearing completion we heard some confusion between the employees about the order ("Wasn't it no bacon or something?") as we sat five feet away. The price to tastiness to service ratio just isn't good enough to return. read more

This place is terrible. There is way better burger places in the area you can go to. Five guys, Habit, and even chicken sandwich from PDQ would be better. The portions are tiny. The rip you off for sure charging you a lot and not including a side. You purchase a $2-$3 side its like 5 tots. There slow and the place is a mess. Had a good experience here awhile back do we decided to give it a try again and just a whole different feel.
