We ordered truffle mushroom burger, brisket bacon burger, regular smash cheeseburger, and sweet potato fries. We had it delivered to our house 10-15 minutes away. We got our food and just the brisket bacon burger was hot everything else was cols. Sent an email on smasburger website received a response back from the franchise owner Michael Walker blaming the delivery driver. Told him the problem was 1 item was hot and everything was cold and we would not be patronizing his business and I would write a review on all avenues. He sent me a response back saying he doesn't appreciate my threats. No threats. This restaurant is the worse!! Like I said doesn't take ownership for problems. Everything cold except 1 item! ZERO STARS! Worst service I have ever had! Went in at 7:00 pm. They had no kids chicken fingers. Ordered a smash chicken 3 burgers 2 tots 2 fries. Restaurant wasn't very busy. They started turning people away at 7:30 saying they were closed and locked the doors. Waited until 8pm. Someone walked over and told us there was no more chicken. Never going back! I hope that whomever owns or manages this location is well aware that you're paying your employees on the evening shift to keep the doors closed during normal business hours so they don't have to work. Last time I checked, the Lehi location closes at 9:30 pm Monday through Thursday. I walked in at 8:50 pm to order dinner for my family tonight only to find all the doors locked with two employees sitting behind the register staring at, God forbid, someone who wants to order food from a restaurant that should be open. This is not the first or second time this has happened either. So it's good to know that you're losing money not only paying lazy employees, but watching paying customers go next door to spend their money. I usually enjoy Smash Burger and have been happy with the app. I tried to use the app on 09/02/22 but I received an error to try later. My wife decided to order at the restaurant and payed the bill. We noticed that we were charged twice but only received one order. I tried to work with the restaurant but they couldn't (or wouldn't) help me. They referred me to corporate but they asked to leave a message and they will call back . So far, no call back. This shouldn't be so hard. Pretty cool place. The burgers are a decent size and the fries are pretty good in general. I was told the milkshakes were amazing so we got the grasshopper mint and it was pretty good. Didn't seem very minty to me but it was creamy and I was into that. We got the truffle burger and a chicken bacon avocado sandwich. Today they suck. Been waiting for an hour to get my food. Make a paying customer who stands in line for food wait for doordash orders to be placed. Put someone in the back office in charge of doordash! Dining room most of the evening had been stacked with up to 9 dirty tables with 4 or more parties waiting for seating. IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a smashburger! I placed an order online to be picked up around 6pm tonight. When I picked it up, I had to wait for 30 minutes for my food that was soggy, cold and wrong! After getting home, I realized I was missing my large soda. I attempted to call them THREE TIMES with absolutely no answer. Having already PAID for my soda, I simply wanted my money back or the soda that I paid for. I returned to the restaurant and informed them of what happened (after driving back from my house and telling them I tried contacting them multiple times to just receive a refund.) and they rudely refused to acknowledge the hassle of driving to and from multiple times, as well as refused to provide any sort of solution for this problem! I work in the customer service industry and we NEVER treat our PAYING customers this horribly. I recommend this establishment fix their customer service issues before Cubby's takes your business. The food is great and I like the many options. I've taken my kids here a couple times and it's one of their favorite restaurants. As a Mom, it can be tough to manage kids while eating out. There is one staff member who is particularly exceptional...wish I knew his name. He is medium height, middle age, with short brown hair. He's always super friendly, chats with my kids, helps them with refills, and is quick to share a joke and ask if there is anything he can do to help us. His excellent customer service make this a place we will regularly frequent. And the smash fries are amazing! read more

Went here for lunch today, it was my first time there. I was happy with the different add on options and bun choices they offer. It's a little overpriced, but we had a buy one get one coupon so it wasn't bad. The Sweet potato fries were very good! The patty was generous sized. I limped in with 3 tweens the other night after a very day. They had just won their soccer game after a very long 2 hour rain delay and were starving. We had the best service. Our food came out quickly and was fresh. They were very nice about my exhuberant boys and their tired driver. It was close to closing time when we were ready to go and they boxed up our leftover food and helped me out the door. My salad was almost too pretty to eat and the kids inhaled their burgers and shakes. Best service I have had at a burger place. read more

Extremely disappointed with our visit on Sunday!! Upon entering the store was visibly dirty and I should have left then but my kids begged me to stay. The girl taking our order was wearing gloves but there is no point when you're touching everything and then I watched as she put her hands inside every one of our cups including touching both sides of every lid. I also watched the kid who was filling the bags with orders grab all of the French fries with his gloved hand that he also was touching everything in the store with. I was intensely disappointed with the cleanness of this store. Final straw was when I sat down with my family I decided to wash our table with the wipes they provided. The wipe was literally black after using two wet wipes. Once our burgers arrived they were not up to smash burgers usual standard. They tasted like they were boiled in grease as opposed to their usual tasty smashed grill. Every single one of our burgers was incorrect also. I kept correcting the girl that took our order when it wasn't correct in the screen and she would get irritated and never changed it. Very disappointed with the poor service on Sunday. Someone needs to supervise this crew better everyone was half asleep and if I was the manager of this store I would want to know! My wife and I took our ten and five year old grandchildren to thanksgiving point Smashburger. My 5 year older granddaughter ordered chicken strips. We were breaking them apart and noticed they were pink inside and nearly raw in the middle. To not have QC in place to catch this, especially on food prepared only for young children, is unconscionable. If we had not intervened she could have gotten seriously ill from this. When brought to the restaurants attention there was no apology, no escalation to management and no effort to acknowledge this was an issue. I would have taken to manager but there was no one that appeared to be over 19 years old. We have eaten at many smash burger sites and found the foods good and service fair. I am not sure we will ever again visit a Smashburger and will definitely never visit this location. In today's world with so many choices I do not need to risk unsafe food and poor service. Dropped by for lunch and was not disappointed. I got "the Beehive" specialty burger. The bun was crisp and the honey glaze made the burger exceptional. Fries are uniquely short and extra crispy. If you can splurge get the salted caramel milkshake. It comes in an old fashion cup and there is plenty to share. Eating the burger and shake combo was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I love SmashBurger and their shakes and I've never been unhappy with any of my experiences ever, but my experience at this location was one of the most significant bummers of my lifetime. The cashier was very short with us upon taking our order. We made our order, two milkshakes with no whipped cream to stay, very politely and very clearly. When it was brought to us, the order was incorrect as the shakes had whipped cream and they were in to-go cups and not the glass with the bit of extra shake in the metal cup, which is honestly the best part about a milkshake is having that extra bit in the metal cup and the part we were looking forward to most. When we politely said that the orders were for here and should have no whipped cream, they employee claimed that the ticket said differently, though our ticket clearly stated our order the way that we asked for it. Not wanting to be THOSE people we accepted the incorrect orders and were even still disappointed as the employees had totally skimped on ingredients. My shake had no more than one Oreo in it and my girlfriend's was basically pure peanut buttery milk. I will never come back to this location and I will do everyone a service by telling them to give it a wide birth as well. read more

At one point in time this was a great location. However the last few times I've been the service has been terrible. This last visit our food was mixed up with another table, then once that was straightened out, there was a problem with all 4 of our meals. We like the food at Smashburger, but are very disappointed with this particular store. We've been here twice in the past few months. The floor is greasy in the dining area. I was wearing sneakers and could slide my feet along the floor in places. Sitting in the chairs was also an adventure, as they would slide around so easy. Additionally, the temperature was too cold and we couldn't find a table in the restaurant that didn't have a terrible draft. Smashburger is good. This location is not. Pretty good burger but I wouldn't say there was anything there to wow us. The menu was a little confusing because every burger was a double. I was glad I asked if I could get a single, even though the order taker looked at me as if the question was weird. I am not sure the one $ is fair considering the burger is $5 and then it is another $4.50 to add a 22oz drink and small fry. The cup for your drink is an in house cup so you couldn't take your drink with you. They may offer a to go if you ask, we did not. My other disappointment was that all of the pictures showed burgers loaded with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes when in reality there wasn't any of that on either of ours, maybe you have to ask for it? At any rate that is not clear. The burgers were juicy and a decent size and the fries were pretty tasty. Overall a good burger but I wouldn't call it spectacular. My husband ordered a "haystack of onions" in place of fries and while they had good flavor, they were the same thin cut onions that go on the burgers which made them a little difficult to eat and not what you would expect to stand in for onion rings. Unbelievable. The girl at the counter was throwing a temper tantrum as we walked in. Then she shouted at us "here or to go". We placed our order and sat. Our food came out in increments of 1 order every 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, one of the staff pulled a burger out of the window and proceeded to eat it while he took orders at the register. Didn't even wash his hands before serving us the rest of our food. Our orders were of course wrong. From first burger taken to our table to the last one spanned 35 minutes. Obviously no Management presence. This place won't last. When you have such we'll managed establishments such as Chic filet and In & Out with staff that is professional, why would anyone dine here after this kind of experience. Normally I love Smashburger but this time at this location it just wasn't great. I mean, it wasn't terrible but here it is. I currently cannot have dairy products (it's the worst) and so I ordered a build your own burger and told them not to add any cheese. She even double check with me and I said no, no cheese. So when I got my burger, there was something weird and fried on it and then I looked and it was cheese. AND there were two of us and they brought our burgers out at different times. It was just weird. Then my husbands burger came pretty much medium rare. It was pretty red. He also ordered their delicious sweet potato fries and my husband described them as tasting like there is lots of cross contamination in the back. I enjoy going to Smashburger in Lehi. The location is close to my office so it is very convenient. Also, the staff at this location is friendly and helpful each time I've been in. The only trouble I've had is this location has VERY limited parking and they often just have one person taking orders. I don't mind waiting in line for a few minutes as the food is VERY good and the Smash fries are my favorite. read more

I used to love this place but they won't let you add any veggies onto your childrens kid meal burgers now. I've never heard of this before ever. You can't even pay to add them on.
