First I do want to say that the staff are very friendly and took such good care of us! As far as the inside of the restaurant, the walls and vibe of the restaurant reminded me of a casino instead of finer dining. The food overall was not very impressive. The prime rib was fantastic and was super tender, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The Brussel sprout dish we had was extremely sweet to the point it was hard to eat more, the potato crusted chicken was on par with any diners country fried steak. Also tacky: trying to enjoy a meal when you've got an adjacent room full of "attend this meeting get a free steak" patrons and a megaphone on +10. The complementary bread service was the only worthwhile mention. -Salads came out wrong & missing ingredients -"wagyu" filet??? Tougher than a well-done outback special. someone here is in love with rosemary. Not the hostess - but the herb they must buy and chop by the dump truck load. Rosemary was the only flavor on the wagyu steak entree. Steak had zero seasoning. Petite carrots were overcooked. This entree was returned to the kitchen. The potato crusted chicken replaced the "filet". Breading had zero seasoning. Gravy was fine. The crispy fried chicken was set in a broccoli-water steam bath. The meatloaf was grotesque. Spongy, texture-free and nasty. It's so bad - it's (almost) worth going. Our server was really polite and professional. Despite the obvious issues requiring a manager to make adjustments to our check on the server terminal - no table check from a manager. Not a peep. read more

Strange walking into this place. We were so confused when we entered. We expected to see a nice restaurant and it looked like a fast food joint you would find at a Movie theater. Luckily we continued on to the back of the restaurant where a nice restaurant was tucked in. The decor is charming. They DO NOT SERVE ALCOHOL. The service was pretty good. They were out of quite a few items. Some dishes were definitely overpriced like the salmon for $35. The appetizers were good and the portions were large. Hello, Delicious! Who knew there was such a gastronomic delight tucked inside of the ever-so-family-friendly Thanksgiving Point? I do now and am so excited to share it with everyone. My sister and I met up for seester's lunch, a tradition we have that dates back several years. We always try something new and I hit the Information Superhighway to provide an unexplored restaurant. This was the play and it turned out great. The bread alone is enough to make me want to return again and again. It was warm, soft and had granules of salt on top held on with melted butter.....enough said. We both opted for a salad after devouring that bread and we were surprised by how massive they were. Even after eating until I could eat no more, there was just a small dent in mine. I boxed it up for later. The ambience here is comfortable but upscale. Sure, you could bring the kids, but it might not be the vibe you're looking for with toddler in tow. But if you want a girls' lunch for just the moms or even a special date night followed by a visit to Thanksgiving Point, this is a solid option. Save me some of that bread if you go. read more

We have a membership to the museums at Thanksgiving Point but never tried the Harvest Restaurant because the prices are a bit high and our kids are pretty picky. Today, it was just me and my husband so we decided to give it a shot. The hostess was friendly and say us right away. The restaurant is absolutely adorable with a beautiful and cozy vibe. The menu is small but honestly has a nice variety of appetizers and meals to choose from. I have a gluten allergy but was happy when I had the option to get a sandwich with gluten free bread for an extra .50¢. I chose a turkey sandwich with cranberry and a side salad. I really did enjoy my sandwich. It was like a fresh but mini thanksgiving dinner! Our server was kind and made sure to make note of my allergy. Unfortunately, whoever prepared my meal should not work in a kitchen if they can't take food allergies seriously. My sandwich came out just fine but, they had croutons on my salad which was on the same plate as my sandwich. I didn't want to be a bother or waste food so I said it was okay I just took the salad home for my daughter. While an accident like that worked out okay for me, it worries me for others who may have an even more serious food allergy. Their lack of attention to that is pretty scary. So just triple check your meal before you take a bite. My husband got the Harvest burger. He said the patty itself was good and enjoyed the bun. His only complaint was that he felt the burger needed a sauce of some sort. Our server was nice enough to bring him out a couple options and he was content with that. If you are looking for a cute restaurant with good food, kind servers and don't mind spending a couple bucks extra compared to other places, I do recommend the Harvest Restaurant. This place tries to hard to be up scale. Definitely over priced. Food was half assed and mostly tasteless. I've had better French onion soup at Applebees. The celery bits in the pot pie are overpowering and completely ruin the dish unless you're a celery fanatic. But finding a quarter of a thigh bone inside the pie did it in for me .at least the top crust of the pie was delicious! read more

We love Thanksgiving Point and I always would glance at the harvest and think it would be fun to try out. It looks so upper class and cozy tucked away with its formal entrance and table cloths. I still give it an A for ambience. I felt like I was in a fancy restaurant... But, I was confused that hostess and bus boys were wearing jeans??? It felt out of place. The server was super attentive and nice but didn't clear our plates the way I am accustomed to at an expensive restaurant. The food was edible. Not a reflection of how much money was spent and for that reason I will never go back. Shrimp nachos were edible. WE DID LOVE THE BREAD! So good and fresh! It was brought out while waiting for the meal! They were out of our first two steak choices. No prime rib. We ended up with the New York steak and it had a lot of gristle. Our server gave us a free dessert because of the steak situation. She was great. I came here with a large group for lunch. I was very impressed. Olivia served us and she was wonderful. She was kind and gave us great recommendations. I loved her honesty about the Creme brûlée . We ended up having a lovely cheesecake though. I was grateful for the rest of the staff as well. Our water stayed full the entire experience. Even if you don't come for the delicious food you need to be here for the atmosphere. I've never been to a restaurant that was so quiet! 10/10 read more

The atmosphere here is fantastic and should be praised. All the Christmas decorations really got us in the mood for Luminaria, and it was quite a sight to see snowfall swirling past the windows. The service was mostly good. We had a reservation for seven, six adults and a baby. For some reason they thought all of us would fit comfortably at a rather small table. We did not, and my elbows were practically in my father-in-law's food throughout dinner. The food was fantastic. Bread and butter tasted quite nice, and I loved the spin on the shepherd's pie. The menu is minimal and the food is not good. I'm surprised they reopened after being closed for "remodeling". I thought they'd be closed for good. Same weird decor and same disappointing, overpriced food. This style of dining is much needed in the area, but Harvest continues to miss the mark by a mile. We were cordially greeted by the hostess and escorted to a quiet area of one of the dining rooms. Soft mood music was playing and enhanced the romantic atmosphere in our dining area. We were brought a loaf of warm bread including enough soft butter for the whole loaf! Ice water was poured into our glasses and the carafe was left on the table for our use . Our specialty lemonades also came quickly and were delicious! We ordered an Iceberg Wedge side and a Seasonal Summer Salad. The portions could have served as our main meal. One of our main courses was a grilled baseball sirloin steak and oven fried potatoes, with carmelized carrot chunks. The steak was cooked to order, but was just a little on the tough side, yet still quite flavorful. The potatoes were some of the best we've had. The carrots were just a tiny bit undercooked. The other main course was Pan Seared Skin on Salmon with Jasmine Rice and chef's vegetables (zucchini squash) and a garlic mango sauce. The salmon was slightly dry, but with the garlic mango sauce was one of the best I've had in years! The sauce also enhanced the flavor of the rice and zucchini. Our waitress (Morgan) was one of the best servers we've experienced. She didn't hover, but knew just what we needed at the appropriate time. She brought us to go boxes and offered to get me a to go serving of the garlic mango rice. Serving sizes were large. I got two meals from my salmon, and my wife got three meals from her steak dinner. This was one of the best anniversary dinners we've had in a while. We will definitely consider taking family members there in the future. read more

Harvest is to fine dining as Denny's is to fine dining, if we're going to make an analogy here. There is absolutely nothing "fine" about it. It's basically a Jim's Family Restaurant with very expensive prices and worse service. #1 No alcohol. A descent wine list is one of the 3 bare minimum requirements for fine dining. The other two are a floor other than dirt and food is served on a plate of some kind. Sorry Mormons, your wine free favorite restaurant can't qualify under any conditions whatsoever. #2 The food is seriously 24 hour truck stop diner quality. If you don't know the difference between quality food and Denny's no amount of typing here is going to help. Olive Garden has fancier entree's than Harvest. #3 Service looked like it was being organized by the local ward's young women as a fundraising event. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full, every table was already set, but it took the "hostess" about 15 minutes to figure out how to even select a table and seat us. The waiter was just some kid that looked like he was wearing what he went to his Jr. High classes earlier that day. Was either impossible to flag down, or interrupting, got the bill wrong and added an automatic tip for our group of 5 1/2. The half person being our very well behaved toddler granddaughter that had some mac and cheese. Technically, I suppose, there were 6 heartbeats at the table and the policy is to gouge an automatic tip to groups of 6 or more. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 was because, well, it WAS cleaner than a Denny's and quieter than the IHOP, so that should count for something. But hey, if you live in Utah County, this is literally the nicest restaurant in the valley, so enjoy. Just don't trip on that very, very low bar as you're clearing it. read more

The food and service were great! I had a salmon dish with a moderately spicy, mango(?)-based sauce. The fish was very fresh (not fishy at all), cooked perfectly (I have a hard time not overcooking it at home.), and delicious. The sauce surprised me; its spicy fruitiness went really well with the salmon. The fish was served on slices of zucchini which were the best I've had--perfectly cooked. The meal was preceded by a small loaf of just-baked, soft, delicious bread. The service was perfect. They were always there when we needed them and never there when we didn't. They were perfectly courteous and professional. They were really good about accommodating food allergies. We felt welcome and appreciated. I would not change anything about the service at all. The place was clean and pleasant. No complaints there, either. I'm just a visitor in this town, but I would definitely be back if I were staying. read more

Harvest is an experience.... If you like not enjoying yourself. Dinner is surely made in a school lunch kitchen by an old lady named Edna. I got the chicken, mashed potatoes topped with gravy.... Somehow Edna figured out a way to make it all taste the exact same. Like paper. Only come here if you don't like alcohol (they have none) and enjoy hospital food for the price of what a real dinner should cost. We were seated next to a really large & loud party but the staff were super understanding in moving us over to another table in a separate area that was quiet. The cheese board appetizer was a very large portion (there were three in our party). The one cheese option they had on the board was quite good (a sharp cheddar) but I wished there had been other cheeses. Some of the fruit wasn't as fresh as I would have liked. But not bad overall. I went with the salmon based on the server recommendation. It came with an avocado cream sauce but to me the flavor was indiscernible from any other standard cream sauce. The salmon was a bit over cooked and on the dry side. The vegetable medley tasted like it came from a frozen bag. Again, not terrible but pretty average. Our first visit to Harvest and I'd say the food was average at best. The bread served after we were seated was cold and unappealing. I would have expected it to be warm, especially on a winters evening. I ordered the prime rib with an iceberg wedge salad. I ate the iceberg wedge first. The lettuce tasted old and bitter, and had some browning. The blue cheese dressing (on the side) was just ok, clearly it was from a cheap institutional brand. My prime rib was tough and had almost no flavor. It was also a pretty thin cut given the price. The au jus was similarly flavorless and the horseradish dip had no bit or flavor either. The prime rib was served with mashed potatoes and cut vegetables. The mashers tasted instant. The vegetables were just OK. My wife's pot pie was visually appealing with a nice crispy, browned crust, and had plenty of flavor. It was made with white and dark meat, and the peas in the filling were flavorful. Overall, I'd rate our visit as average. We weren't really wowed by anything, prices were high given the average quality and taste, and therefore we are unlikely to return. read more

Its midrange priced menu items all sounded like great options. I had the steak and fries with butternut squash and a Harvest Garden Salad. Our whole party's food took a long time to come out and my medium rare steak was cold. I took a couple of bites and waited for the server to come back so I could have her warm it up so it was edible. The server didn't come back around to check on us/refill drinks after the food was served for a long time. Finally, when she did, I told the server that I didn't like my steak, she made a comment about the kitchen having an issue today and wanted to know what else I wanted her to do to make it better.
