Definitely is the perfect combo with your burger. Service is quick and friendly when I went, so no complaints there. Just be aware that there's very limited outdoor seating, so you may be standing around and eating. But there's charm doing that at an old school burger joint, so I'm cool with that :)

They are in the Heart of UF Territory, and i think they will do well. They will have Biscuits breakfast items soon, and they have some pretty darn good burgers, and their fries are good too!! Tried the spicy mayo and S and S sauce, not bad. definitely a unique taste. Everyone there is family pretty much. My Burger was very tasty and my wife had an egg added to hers, pricing is reasonable, they have canned sodas, sweet and unsweet tea(who drinks unsweet..lol) When the students get back into town, they will have a new addition to their food options there along University Ave. The decor still is the way the last location left, i know they are doing some renovations as well, but being close to UF it has that old building feel. And so the short wait began...one of the fellas at the grill asked me what I wanted on my burger...you choose exactly what sauces or lack thereof you want! I don't know where they buy them from or if they make them, but they are absolutely superb. Soft and tender to the bite, but hold up so well and don't fall apart. I like that. Like a cornmeal dusting on top too. Old fashioned but so so good. Just not enough bun to burger ratio. Way too much burger -- and I never thought I'd ever say that! Some of this is locally-produced like the honey, some not. Some is reasonable in price, some you'd do better at a supermarket on probably. However, the cheeseburger and fries I had--plus iced tea!--all were excellent. There's nowhere to eat inside but they have shaded pic-nic tables outside. They also have a drive-thru and most of their cooked food orders likely are to take home. Aside from burgers, they have other sandwiches, various plates and sandwiches made of their famous brisket, and daily specials which trend towards Southern homestyle favorites like meatloaf or roasted chicken. My burger was great: it tasted like a burger Dad or a friend's dad would grill--not one from any restaurant. It tasted truly homemade.
