However, while dealing with a relentless automated texts and emails asking to approve the quote, I took a closer look at the fine print. I discovered they had specified Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint--which I verified directly with Sherwin-Williams is not their premium tier. It became clear they didn't expect me to check the actual product specs. When I called the owner, Cameron, to address this discrepancy, he casually claimed the job would actually cost more if I wanted the actual premium paint we had already settled on. When I calmly pointed out how unfair and seemingly misleading that was, Cameron abruptly cancelled the job, claiming he didn't want the "stress." When expressed the unexpected blatant unprofessionalism, Cameron escalated to profanity and told me, "F you." When I informed him that I would be sharing my honest experience in a public review, he threatened to sue me. I never raised my voice or swore; I simply expected them to honor their word and basic business ethics. Chad came out last week to review the three turrets which each having 3 rows of rough-wood trim - roughly 12', 14' and 22' from the ground and one turret was over a sunken bar area, so access above was tricky. (The surrounding ceiling is all wood, which we did not want painted.) His estimate was very reasonable and the two man crew did an excellent job. They were both very professional, and nice. They started and finished this job yesterday. They even stayed an extra hour past their normal hours to finish the job.
