I've had and needed probably every possible procedure known to dentistry and fortunately for myself i was always in good hands with Dr. Stan and his amazing staff! I'm confident in my smile and no longer have dental phobia! He always makes sure i'm feeling good and comfortable. Never any pain ! even calls on his off days to make sure to check in on me after some lengthy work done. i get so many compliments on my smile and it's all his work! Interesting. I went to this place because of the good reviews. I had tripped and fallen on my face. The whole process from the fall to today has been really hard. The accident occurred over a year ago, and I am still dealing with this. I called and was seen by Dr. Dan Shaer. who was Very friendly, as I was being sold on a $10,000 procedure. He would remove the two front teeth and told me that in 3 months, I would have the permanent fake replacements. He advised that there was a really small possibility that I would need to wait six months for the permanent fake teeth. I was moving to Northern California, I told him I should wait and find a dentist in the new area. I couldn't keep driving back for the visits. He told me that there were only two appointments. The first while I am in So Cal to remove the teeth and the second in three months to get the permanent replacement. He suggested I move forward and promissed it was an easy process. Here is what happened. I came in on October 19, 2023, for the procedure. He was an hour late - no apology other than the other procedure went longer. Hmm, bad planning or, once again, not a clear idea of what is actually needed. I was put to sleep for the procedure, and he wasn't around when I came to, all I was told was that the next appointment wouldn't be for 6 months, not three months I was expecting. Agh - ok. The week after, and the months after, not one follow-up from the office. No call to ask how things were going. NADA. I accepted that - what can I do? Now, six months later and really tired of this long wait to get my front teeth, I called to schedule the appointment. I talked to Christine, and I explained that I was told that I should have the appointment at their Northridge office as I am driving from Northern Cal. She said she had to call Northridge to schedule it and would call me back later that day. Nothing happened. I called back that afternoon, and she said they were busy and would call me back. She didn't. I called Northridge the following week as I never heard back from her. They told me that Christine is the person who needs to schedule this, not them. Agh. I called Christine.. again. She told me that Northridge could schedule the visit for next week. But that was for the first of two appointments. I explained, again, that the doctor said that I wouldn't need to come down for two visits as I am now in No Cal. The answer was sorry, no can do. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the misleading information that I encountered at this dental office. The fact that all the positive reviews mention different dentists raises serious questions about the consistency of their people. I strongly advise potential patients to seek dental care elsewhere. read more

I went in for an evaluaiton for two dental implants. While I was in the examination chair waiting for x-rays, I noticed a celeb smile picture on the wall featuring a smiling woman in front of a building. The name trump was clearly on the building, so maybe a hotel? Being from the democracy-supporting side of the tracks, I decided that maybe that was a bad sign (literally and figuratively). As I left, I told the receptionist why, but said I would be happy to talk about it if the messaging was a mistake. I never heard back, so...not a mistake. And, frankly, if it was a mistake, I would have wanted a dentist with better attention to detail. Today was my first visit to the Smile Boutique for my dad's implants needs. The office was spacious and clean and even though they were quite busy we were seen right away on schedule. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with big smiles and were asked if we need any refreshment few times. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The dental assistant Josephine was very kind and caring. She made sure my dad was comfortable during the X-ray and CT tests. I was impressed by the high end equipment the office had. We had a pre-consultation with another dentist that I don't remember his name. He was very attentive and reviewed all the images and discussed my dad's case and kindly answered my general dental hygiene questions. The final consultation was with Dr. Stan. He was amazingly approachable and kind. He patiently examined my dad thoroughly and answered all our questions in detail and immediately put our minds at ease. He explained my dad's current situation for us and walked us through the steps and procedure in detail. He spent quality time with us and made sure all our questions were answered before we leave the office. I got a dental implant from Smile Boutique, TO. Dr. Paulina is a perfectionist. She takes time to make sure she and the patient are fully satisfied with the procedure. She does not rush in her work. Vey pleasant personality as well, taking time to explain the procedure patient. Quality of work was great. If you get crown or implant done elsewhere it may take several visits before a perfect fit is found, she did it in the first try. The tech working with her, Mirabella, was also equally professional and pleasant. Very clean facility with great doctors. The front desk receptionist, Crystal, was also very accomodating. I had a terrible experience with Hart Dentistry and specifically with Borzoo Ahmadi who, at a minimum is prickly, defensive, rude, has a terrible 'chairside' manner and doesn't seem comfortable with answering questions for a patient who doesn't treat the dentist as God. Dr Borzoo-Thousand oaks I just recently moved to the area from Orange County and was looking for a nearby dentist. I did some "googling" one day and seen a special for $59 bucks for a cleaning, exam, and X-rays. Seriously?! You can't beat that offer. Honestly I was thinking maybe this place is a clinic but I went ahead and Yelped them and seen they had great reviews. I clicked the directions and good news it's like 2 miles away from home. I called and spoke with Cynthia and said she was able to get me in the next day. She's such a sweet lady as well! I walk in and the office is so welcoming with warm tones and comfy seats. Pretty modern decor and they have a keurig and a fridge with water. I filled out some paperwork and Maribel assisted with the x-rays. Hart cosmetic and implant dentistry had great reviews and the dentists here seemed well experienced and qualified so i scheduled an appointment here with Dr.Borzoo. He did the regular checkup and gave me a date for the surgery, i was given anaesthetic while the surgery was going on so i didn't feel anything but when i woke up i was in alot of pain! But im glad i was given pain killers to deal with it. It took around 20 days to talk without feeling the pain, i did take couple of x rays and come here for my routine checkups! I was trying to avoid going to dentist because extractions are even more painful but i didn't have a choice. I came to this clinic because my mother recommended it and i got my appointment with Dr.Fukai. He did my checkup and i was told that my wisdom tooth didn't have enough room to come in properly so it could damage the nearby teeth and extraction was must. I recently completed an All-On-Six surgery here. I am currently anxiously awaiting my temporaries next week as my gums continue to heal from the removal of 6 front teeth. I was very nervous about having so many teeth removed (I am 62 yrs old) and the subsequent inflammation and pain I would suffer from not wanting to take strong sedatives to alleviate the pain. What amazed me is Hart Cosmetic & Implant Surgery's procedures and people. They did a "blood graft" that dramatically reduced the swelling and pain following the surgery that helped me get through the first 4 days following surgery. After that, I was able to continue with only Ibuprofen 800mg in addition to the Amoxicillin I started taking on day one. The staff at Hart Cosmetic Dentistry were extremely friendly and interested in how they can help me in any way. I chose Hart Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry after considering the same procedure in Florida, Michigan and overseas. I am 100% sure I made the right decision. Cosmetic and implant dentists in Florida insisted that four implants would be sufficient (and perhaps they are right) but then they were charging a little less money for four implants rather than six which Hart Cosmetics provide. Also, I truly believe the "blood graft" greatly reduced my inflammation and pain and they did not mention this at the four Florida locations I contacted. Hart Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry specialize in All-On-Six dental procedures from my understanding. They are looking at the latest dental procedures to give you the best experience possible! I have hated every part of going to the dentist from when I was kid to an adult . I've always had bad teeth so of course I was embarrassed to go see a dentist. This of course made things worse for myself. It got to the point where I needed implants. I did what anyone else would do and googled local dentist who specialized in cosmetic dentistry. I'm so glad that I chose Hart . I have never come across a better staff of people in any business. They are just amazing, caring, down to earth cool people. Dr Sam Sherif is the "IT GUY " for cosmetic dentistry! From the moment I walked in to his beautiful office I was greeted with his friendly staff. At first I was a bit nervous due to the fact that I had veneers done two years ago and they came out horrible- so my wedding was coming up and i was determined to find a doctor who was amazing! .that led me to this office - there is a no waiting period to see the doctor and they only see one patient at a time so you feel like you have the whole office and doctor to yourself which was very important for me to have the time with the doctor for all my questions & concerns. My veneers came out BEAUTIFUL! more than I ever imagined. I loved Dr. Sherif when I first met him and everything was going great until Deena left and Dr. Sherif went out of town and his patients are not told when he's coming back, other than Dr. Cohen covering for him. Dr. Cohen's canceled on me twice and I even told the new girl replacing Deena that I'm willing to go to his other office in Beverly Hills while Dr. Sherif is gone, but I never heard back. I've been on my last set of Invisalign (which I paid over $4000) for over a month now, which means IF I ever get my new set, it'll be 3 months wearing the same ones. I'm waiting for new impressions. I drive 1 1/2 hrs for this and it's such a waste of time when I go there and find he's canceled b/c he's had a "Strep throat" for a week and I didn't know til I got there that I had no appt after all. I understand he's human and people get sick, but my job requires at least 2 hrs notice before you call in sick and if you knew for a week that you have strep throat, shouldn't I get a few days notice at least??? read more

It took 4 1/2 months from the time I had my impressions made to the time I got my first set of aligners ..there was a problem on the invisalign manufacturing end. But the last 3 weeks were because Dr Cohen was out of town. Now that I have my first set (which, while Dr Cohen was putting them on, he told a "Middle Easterner" joke....really he did!!) I can't get the second set for four weeks, because Dr Cohen will be out of town for the Christmas and New Years holidays for 4 weeks. I have never met or laid eyes on Dr Sam Sherif...does he even exist? I do like Yara and the other office staff...but they can't do the dental work...Apparently there is no dentist there more often than once a week...and apparently sometimes once a month. I am so bummed that I chose them for my invisaligns. I was so excited to finally be getting my teeth straightened and now I feel like I am in this alone. No one there can really help me without a dentist on staff. Dr Cohen does not give a fig about this office. I wish I could just take my aligners and go to another dental office. read more
