Can't even begin to say how excellent this dental office is, and the staff members that work within. Growing up, my biggest fear was visiting the dentist and within my first few visits at Smile Design Center, Dr. John and his wonderful staff made that fear go away and had my teeth looking better than they ever have! Just had to write this review because I moved to california and got a new dentist. I'm honestly devastated because I LOVE this place. I have been going to this dentist since I was 8 years old and I am 23 now. I was never scared to go to the dentist because of these people. Through so many cavities in my teen years to a cleaning every 6 months, they have treated me with so much love and care and I can't thank them enough. I hate giving bad reviews. But had my crown done here 2 years ago, tooth 30. Spent a lot of money here. I have not been back here since I walked through the office to use the restroom the last time and there were dirty tools, boxes of stuff laying around. Doesn't look clean and organized. Who knows if they have their staffs sterilized the tools or not. They are supposed to, but looked like no one to monitor their staffs. Otherwise, stuffs wouldn't be laying around so disorganized. So I stopped coming. Dentist and doctor offices should look clean and organized. Last week, the crown they put on for me 2 years ago came off. I went somewhere else and they told me to call Back to Smile Design Center to have them Re cement back the tooth for me and it should be under warranty. Called them and they want to charge me $200. Because I haven't been in to get my teeth clean with them. I had it fixed at another place for $120. Beware of this place!!!! read more

Dr. Nassar Experience - Doctor took his time, explained that I need a tooth extraction, gave me first set of shots in mouth in my life that did not hurt like hell. Did not even feel them (How is this possible). Tooth extraction was simple, fast and done with care. 5. Check out - Called in my prescription (Love that), explained everything and was personal (Genuinely cared) and had answers or got them for any questions I had (Didn't feel rushed). I have been going here for over 10 years. The staff and Dr. John Nassar are absolutely amazing. Dr. John is only my Dentist, but I swear he feels like family now. He truly cares about his patients. A couple of times I have chipped my front tooth and he saw me right away. I thanked him as I know this isn't a true emergency, and he said "who wants to walk around with a chip in their front tooth?". You would never be able to tell it is chipped. I am irrationally afraid of the dentist. I have an anxiety attack every time. Or at least I did, until I got comfortable at this office. Dr.Nassar had to pull a molar and his dental assistant held my hand the whole time, it was really nice. I didn't actually feel any pain, at any time, ever, with any procedure I've had done here. I get a cleaning every 6 months and still get a little anxious beforehand, but all the staff are very gentle and talk you through everything they're doing. I've been coming here for years now and I love this place and the whole staff, they do great work and truly care about the comfort of their patients! read more

Came from California to celebrate my son's 21st bday. Long story short, he chipped his two front teeth at 7:30 pm on Friday night. Since it was a weekend and we aren't from around here, I scrambled to find a Dentist that was open on Saturdays and could take him in. Luckily we have friends in the area that referred us to Dr. Nassar. I called at 8:15 am even though it said they didn't open until 9:00. Serena was so helpful and got us in at 11:00 am. Dr. Nassar was great and so was the staff. Tragedy resolved and now we can still enjoy Saturday night in Vegas. read more

Dr. John Nassar is an amazing dentist. I needed a root canal and I needed it fast. He stayed until 7:00pm to get me taken care of. Additionally, my entire family goes to him including my two young children and my parents. I have been living in Vegas for three years now and until today, had yet to find a good dentist. For the last 10 years I have been happily going to a dentist in my hometown. I tried one dentist in Vegas, see my review of Prestige Dental, that turned out to be an awful experience, which led me to continue flying home at least once every six months for a teeth check-up and clean. Today, though, I'm happy to say I had an excellent experience at a dentist here in Vegas, well, Henderson specifically. Smile Design Center has a beautiful waiting area and clean office. Dr. Nassar spent the first few minutes getting to know me and my dental history, which was awesome. He then conducted a thorough exam of my teeth and explained what he was doing the entire time. As a new patient this eased any anxiety about the unknown. The only reason why this isn't a five star review is because they have so many loyal patients, that I was unable to schedule my cleaning on the same day as my exam, which means I have to go back. I am a fan of Dr. Nassar and Smile Design Center (I visit his office on Ft. Apache). I had to get dental x-rays, an exam and detailed paperwork filled out after my return from the Peace Corps. Dr. John took the paperwork home with him to complete and allowed me to return it to the PC office quickly after my exam. He also did a price quote for a problem with my tooth that occurred while I was in the PC and now that it has been approved I will definitely be taking my business to "Dr. John", as he goes by. I woke up with a terrible toothache and contacted SDC (Dr. John) at the recommendation of my sister who has been seeing him for 12 years. The receptionist was kind enough to squeeze me in the same day, even though I was a new patient. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the nicest front desk staff. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The assistant who took me back was warm, welcoming, and funny! And then there was Dr. John. He was sooo incredibly nice, explained everything to me including issues that may come up once he drilled into my tooth, and gave me a few options as to help me make the best choice - although fortunately my tooth did not have any additional issues once he drilled in. I felt totally comfortable, I had NO PAIN at all, I was completely relaxed, and he actually made my bite perfect again (it was messed up by another dentist). I will never go to another dentist again. I have been a patient of Dr. John Nassar for over 20 years. He has treated my parents, my friends, my colleagues and many, many people I have recommended over the years. I have an amazing beautiful smile and I owe it to Dr. John....and his wonderful brother Dr. James when he is not available. The staff is amazing. In fact, they have maintained the same staff for many, many years, which says a lot about a business. They've been able to squeeze me in on the very few times I've had an emergency, they do things right the first time and you do not have to go back to get things done right. Also, as a professional my time is tight, if my appointment is for 8 or 1 or 4, I never have to wait. Our time is respected, and I truly appreciate that.
