My dental appointment was through and complete. I have MS and the facility is extremely…read moreaccommodating,I use a wheelchair/ Walker and was able to get around. I was able to KNOW how much needed dental services were needed and the dentist worked with me on cost and made it possible for me to get everything done. I'm a little biased because I have been going here for a while. all of my prior dentist have moved on and the new Dentists are proving they are well qualified in providing excellent service and compassion. Excuse my typos, I'm half blind.

Background I…read moreinitially chose Dental Delite because I had a crown on the right side of my mouth that had come loose. The office attempted to re-cement the crown three separate times, and each time it came out the same day. Because these attempts were unsuccessful, I elected to have a new crown made. The temporary crown repeatedly came loose as well, so I eventually left it out until the permanent crown was placed. Fortunately, the permanent crown remained in place. Confusion Regarding Tooth Extraction I also required a tooth extraction and elected to undergo the procedure under oral sedation. The dentist instructed me to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy and bring the medication with me to my appointment. The day before my appointment, I called the office to verify the instructions. On the morning of the procedure, the dental assistant, Kenneth, called and informed me that I should have taken one pill the night before and instructed me to take one immediately. However, I had not yet picked up the prescription. When I obtained the medication, the written directions on the prescription differed from what I had been told over the phone. I contacted the dental office again, and the dentist instructed me not to take the medication until I arrived at the office, where I would receive further instructions. The conflicting directions created unnecessary confusion and concern immediately before my procedure. Damage to Adjacent Tooth During the tooth extraction and preparation for the bridge, two adjacent teeth were prepared. After the procedure, I discovered that the lower corner of my front crown next to the bridge had been chipped. I have before-and-after photographs/X-rays documenting the condition of this tooth. Temporary Bridge Issues Following the extraction, I was fitted with a temporary bridge. The experience was extremely disappointing. The temporary restoration consisted of only two teeth and a veneer instead of a three-tooth bridge. My mouth, teeth, and the bridge itself were covered with excess dental cement, and cement was left around my lips and mouth. I had to go to the restroom to scrape the hardened cement from my face because it had not been cleaned before I left the treatment room. As I was leaving the office and speaking on the phone, the temporary bridge came loose and fell out. Because I had already experienced multiple problems with temporary restorations at Dental Delite, I chose not to return immediately and lived with an unacceptable smile for approximately three weeks. Mouth Guard I also purchased a custom mouth guard. Rather than placing it in my mouth to verify the fit and making any necessary adjustments, the dental assistant simply handed it to me as I left the office. When I tried it at home, it did not fit properly and caused significant pain because an extended portion pressed into my gums. Due to my repeated negative experiences with the office, I did not return to have it adjusted. Delays and Additional Temporary Bridge Failure I was originally told that my permanent bridge would be ready in approximately three weeks. Instead, I was informed that new measurements had to be taken and another temporary bridge would be fabricated, extending the process by an additional three weeks. Although the second temporary bridge included all three teeth, it again came loose the very same evening. Like the first temporary, it was covered with excess dental cement. Treatment by Another Dentist After these repeated problems, I sought treatment from another dentist. Upon examination, he advised me that there was insufficient clearance for the bridge, which explained why the temporary restorations repeatedly failed to remain in place. He also expressed concern regarding the appearance and quality of the temporary bridges that had been provided. He corrected the clearance issue, fabricated a properly fitting temporary bridge, and produced my permanent bridge within three days using in-office technology.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this complaint as an urgent escalation regarding my experience at the Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics Abrams location and am requesting an immediate investigation by upper management, corporate leadership, compliance personnel, and any appropriate patient advocacy team. One of my most serious concerns is that Maria, the manager at the Abrams location, attempted to collect approximately $2,500 from me and instructed me to send the payment directly through Zelle. This request raised significant concerns for me regarding whether proper payment procedures were being followed. I am requesting an immediate investigation into this matter, including a review of any payment instructions provided to patients and whether company policies were followed. I am also requesting that Maria's conduct be reviewed. During our interaction, I explained that I had been unable to attend appointments because I underwent a major spinal reconstruction surgery and spent over a year recovering. I further explained that I have mental health challenges that were being negatively affected by this situation. Rather than receiving understanding, accommodation, or assistance, I felt dismissed and treated unfairly because of my medical circumstances. I believe my medical condition and recovery were not adequately considered when decisions were made regarding my care. I have been an orthodontic patient since 2021 and have paid more than $5,500 out of pocket for my braces treatment, which was paid in full. Unfortunately, I underwent a major spinal reconstruction surgery and experienced a lengthy recovery period of over one year. Before my absence, I contacted Jefferson Dental's call center and informed them that I would be undergoing this surgery and would be unable to attend appointments during my recovery. I was under the impression that this medical situation would be documented and considered an acceptable reason for my temporary interruption in treatment. Recently, I scheduled an emergency orthodontic appointment because I currently have three broken brackets that are causing discomfort and pain. When I arrived for my appointment, I waited for more than an hour, underwent multiple X-rays, and then waited approximately another hour before being taken to an office by Maria. At that time, I was informed that my brackets would not be repaired because I was allegedly "non-compliant" with my treatment plan. I explained that my absence was due to a major spinal reconstruction surgery and that I had previously notified Jefferson Dental of this medical circumstance. Despite providing this explanation, I was told I would need to pay approximately $2,500 more to continue treatment, despite already paying my orthodontic balance in full. I asked whether, at a minimum, my three broken brackets could be repaired during the emergency appointment while any treatment-plan issues were reviewed. This request was denied. I am extremely concerned and frustrated by the way this situation was handled for several reasons: * I was scheduled for the appointment and confirmed by the office. * I completed X-rays and other appointment procedures before being told treatment would not be provided. * I spent several hours at the office without receiving the emergency care I was seeking. * My broken brackets continue to cause discomfort and pain. * I have an impacted wisdom tooth and ongoing orthodontic concerns that remain unresolved. * I was accompanied by my five-year-old child, making the extended wait and lack of treatment especially difficult. * I felt that my medical circumstances and recovery from a major surgery were not adequately considered or acknowledged. * I disclosed both physical and mental health concerns and felt those concerns were disregarded rather than accommodated. Additionally, I requested that my concerns be escalated to a supervisor. I left the appointment uncertain whether my concerns were actually being communicated to management, and I am requesting a formal review of everything that occurred during my visit. Because this matter involves a medical interruption to treatment, a fully paid orthodontic account, emergency orthodontic concerns, ongoing pain, and concerns regarding payment practices, I respectfully request: * An immediate investigation into Maria's conduct and handling of my case. * An investigation into the request that payment be sent directly through Zelle. * Immediate review by regional management, compliance personnel, or corporate leadership. * Contact information for the appropriate supervisor, regional manager, patient advocate, or corporate representative.

BEWARE ... BEWARE... BEWARE... BEWARE... BEWARE... BEWARE…read more I visited the Texas Smile Dental Center located at 2517 S Buckner Blvd Dallas, TX 75227 on March 2025 for a set of dentures that I needed. The initial visit was very pleasant and we were able to agree on a set of dentures and the amount that I would pay for them. Today, 04-23-2026, I returned back due to one front denture tooth breaking in half. Aside from today's denture problem I had previously voiced concern about the lining of the dentures which they seemed to never get right. We must have redone the denture lining at least 3 times to no avail for I continue to have loose dentures up until today. Its been right at a year since I have had these dentures and they have NEVER fit correctly. Now that the material of the dentures seem to have been done of poor quality material I am very concerned that they are falling short of their commitment of what they promised and promote. To have a set of dentures break in half and not fit properly is totally unacceptable. The dentures cost was right under $4,000 and I expected the dentures to last longer, and fit properly for more than a year. Now I am told that it will take 5 to 7 day to get my denture back once it is send in for repair. What's so upsetting is that I had a schedule trip to San Antonio this weekend that I had to cancel due to their poor service. I just want to make sure that anyone looking for a place to get their dentures done or replace to beware of places like this that seem to offer a service and product that they DO NOT deliver. I would NOT recommend this place for your dental needs. I intend to file a complaint to The Better Business Bureau to advice them of the above. Unless you are willing to allow this dental center to talk you into their services I would strongly recommend you to stay away from them. I regret coming to this place for my dental needs and feel like I just gave them $4,000 for services not render. Beware... you've been warned.

I told the dentist the last three times I went in that it was still sensitive even though he had done all the drilling and it should not be hurting. The dentist blamed me for not keeping the area clean and that I took too long to get the crown placed as to why it hurt and the first time I told him he literally said it didn't matter. I also had two fillings re-done here. One will literally need to be re-done as it still has sensitivity. Also the women upfront have no clue how insurance billing works. I had to call my insurance and ask how much I should have paid. Before my last bill I calculated the amount I overpaid and what they were wanting me to pay. I brought in all the math and she still had no idea what I was talking about and finally gave in and said, 'I'll just go with your number'. As if I had pulled it out my ass. They wanted to charge me almost $120 more than what insurance said I was responsible for. Literally a nightmare. I'm out about $1,000 for their crap work that now I have to get fixed and fully re-done elsewhere. I can't express how pissed I am about this. This dr should have his license pulled.

Updated Review (2025) - Stay away…read more I first visited Bear Creek Family Dentistry back in 2017 and even recommended them at the time, but I will never return again. I've given them multiple chances, and every time I leave more disappointed. One of the most disturbing things I witnessed was a teenager who had just undergone sedation being practically carried out to a car--barely conscious and unable to even open their eyes. The staff seemed focused on just getting the patient out quickly, as if trying to get rid of them. As a parent, I was horrified. There's absolutely no way I would allow that kind of sedation for my children. If my child couldn't walk out on their own, I would refuse to leave or immediately call 911. That experience alone showed me how unsafe and careless the process can be. Their overall care has continued to decline. At my last appointment, the cleaning was rushed and sloppy--done in less than a minute. My gums were left bleeding, and not a single staff member acknowledged it or apologized. Even my teenager noticed and said, "Wow, Mom, your mouth is full of blood." The fact that no one addressed the obvious damage was deeply concerning. They constantly push patients to sign blank or incomplete forms. I've said repeatedly that I won't sign anything without knowing what it says, but the front desk keeps insisting to the point of making it uncomfortable. On top of that, they schedule appointments without asking and then bombard you with reminder calls--even though I've explained I cannot do midday, midweek appointments due to work and school. They completely ignore this and continue booking them anyway. When you do get in for an appointment, you'll likely wait a long time. If your child is told they have a cavity, the office won't give any meaningful information: not how many cavities, which teeth, or whether they're baby or permanent teeth. They just refer you to a "specialist" who only comes once a week, only during school hours, with no flexibility--again, not ideal for a pediatric-focused clinic. They also push nitrous or full sedation for minors without being able to explain what's being administered. As a parent, I need to know what medication will be used to make sure it doesn't interfere with anything my child is already taking, but they can't (or won't) provide that information. And if you want copies of your records or X-rays, good luck--they'll give you the runaround and charge extra for everything. After all of this, I'm completely done. I kept hoping things would improve, but the lack of professionalism, transparency, and genuine care has made it clear this is not a safe or respectful place for my family. Original Review (2017) I have to admit I was skeptical at first, since a lady handed me a card outside a supermarket. But after many disappointments with other dental offices regarding service and price, I decided to give this place a try. At first, I was impressed--everyone was friendly and attentive. The office is large, and the waiting area is kid-friendly with an arcade, movie theater, and play gym. At my first visit, they saw me on time, explained everything clearly, discussed treatment options, and went over pricing after recommendations--not before, which I appreciated. I felt they offered good service without excessive costs, especially compared to other offices I'd visited with the same insurance. I came in for myself and my son and had planned to bring my other two boys as well. Thank you for that initial experience--but sadly, the care and professionalism I saw back then have not lasted.
