I went for a cleaning which is covered by my Insurance, they refused to do the cleaning unless I agreed to more expensive procedures that were not covered by my Insurance. I kept getting text from them saying if I didn't show for the appointment they would charge me $75, which is fine ok I went to the appointment and they refused to do the cleaning that the appointment was for so shouldn't they have to give me $75? The real point is that this is the 2nd time they have tried to upsale me and now I still need a cleaning read more

I am literally never going anywhere else ever again. From the first moment I called and Anthony answered the phone, I felt hope and moreover brief relief in a cascading fire shit hole of pain. I was able to get a same day appointments. When I got there, everyone was so comforting and didn't make fun of me, or seem annoyed by me being so anxious. It's already kind of humiliating to be afraid of a doctor as an adult, but they offered me everything between my favorite music, a massage chair, weighted blanket, and medication to support me through. I have issues...issues with my teeth and with dentists! LOL!! I have to say that I am WOWED with the treatment plan that I was given!! FINALLY, I got a plan that makes sense and actually creates a FIX for my situation!!! I am really excited to have found an option / a dentist that I TRUST!! I trust him so much that I am taking my 13-year-old to him versus taking him to his pediatric dentist. Part of this decision is that my teen doesn't have issues with dental work (getting two baby teeth pulled to accommodate his braces). He is brave enough to handle it per him (and he doesn't want to go where the little kids go - he is 6' tall at 13 years old). IF he shows any signs of nervousness, they will provide "laughing gas" to calm his nerves. I LOVE their approach and their business model, focusing on making sure that the experience is a positive one!! I am a bit on the nervous side typically, but I am at peace with this choice!! They offer different memberships which helps with keeping up on visits without additional costs, promoting healthy teeth and smiles, which plans also offer discounts. Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review to this dental office due to several issues. Normally, I do not give bad reviews, but this time I will. The doctors are fine, well trained and educated. It is an administrative part that is , in my case, highly disappointing. I was paying cash due to my specific insurance carrier which was not accepted at this dental place. I have received an estimate for my procedures that was given to me by a young individual,Nikolina at the reception area. The estimate was blown up. I have refused a specific procedure that was too expensive. When, I arrived for the initial treatment I was told that portion of the estimate needs to be paid, but the amount was almost $500.00 dollars higher than agreed and documented. I expressed my concern to Nikolina who needed a few minutes to comprehend the obvious issue. I continued to express my concern and finally she realized that her ruse won't work. Then, she stated that I was correct. It was a clear attempt to scam the patient. I have completed a portion of the treatment, received some refund. I was about to leave, when Nikolina attempted another ruse. She wanted me to leave a refund I received on the account in order to secure my next appointment.I refused it and took a refund that was later on transferred to my account. Of course , I was done at that point. I am a retired law enforcement officer and I am quite skilled in deception detection.This situation proved the fact that some dental offices are just like car mechanics or car salesmen. Once again, I think that doctors are fine, but I'm sure that lack of integrity is present at the desk area. Just for the future patients, be aware and pay attention. This dental office is amazing! I had a severe tooth ache, so I called right when they opened. They were generous enough to fit me in first thing in the morning and also take of a tooth extraction all within a couple hours of me just calling. The entire office staff was great, helpful, and amazing to be around! The Dr was extremely professional and just a personable guy, which made the difficult process much easier. This was my husband's first visit to this very hip dental spa. He was extremely happy with the way he was welcomed by everyone. Treatment Coordinator Veronica, the assistant Anthony, and the doctor, Dr Dawson. The doctor gave my husband a very thorough explanation of everything he recommended. If you are like me and combing through reviews to find a dental office then stop because this place is legit! The reviews are what got me in the door and the amazing care and service from every single person here is what will keep me coming back! My dentist retired early after a get rich quick scheme unfortunately for me so I had work that needed fixed along with cavities between almost every front tooth. I've spent so much money trying to save what little teeth I have left in my mouth and was ready for dentures by this point. Their website showed beautiful implant and denture options so I went in there with that plan in mind but first priority was fixing a tooth where the filling fell out and now was black. I didn't want to go in public with this embarrassing smile so I spent 2 days reading reviews for dentists all over the valley! I'm so glad I chose smile science because they truly love what they do! I was there all day trying to decide what to do and they gave me so many options and were so patient with me and sweet! They never pushed anything on me, were very informative about everything, offered many options and got me taken care of same day! I chose to restore my teeth and walked out of there pain free with a smile! I've never had pain free work done before especially a root canal but they absolutely killed it! And yes the reviews about your dental chair being a massage chair are true! As well as you can watch tv or listen to music during your appointment!
