We had 3 weeks of summer camp planned and we were super excited, but day one was not good. The…read morecamp director was not present and staff did not give any communication on where to meet. We waited with other parents at the front of the school past the start time and I was late for work. And I had to leave my young child with teenagers that didn't seem to know much. My sons name was not in the system and the entire process was very unprofessional. After camp, my child explained to me that he got to play legos and minecraft all day. He was bullied on day three and the camp director called to report the incident. I began dropping him off late and picking him up early to avoid conflict. I cancelled week three, and carefully proceeded into the 2nd week after talking to the program manager about all the above concerns. The stem and playbit all sports itinerary was thrown out the window and the counselors allowed the kids to be self led to reduce stress as per the camp director. The 2nd week in my child was hit by a bully in the head with a golf ball that was brought from home. Although the child was sent home that day, there was no guarantee that he wouldn't be back. We did not go back and spoke to the operations director regarding the above incidents. Per the operator, Kidztopros does not screen for special needs kids because they cannot discriminate. This program was not a safe summer camp experience for my child and we will not be back. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this company including our local school that handed out flyers recommending them.

I wanted to take the time to explain my rating for this volleyball organization. I have seen posts…read morelately that just are not simply true. This has been nothing more than an attack on the club out of anger that something did not go their way. This is far from what I have experienced over the years. My daughter was a part of this club for most of her childhood. She was involved with Spikes all the way through H.S. I did get communication from the coaches and owner/coach, even to the point where I had to say, "You do know you are telling us everything 3 times". He then went on to explain why he does this. Over time I learned why often there are others who either forget, do not listen, or desire to manipulate what has been said. Having been with this organization for some time now, I have learned that yes, the owner/coach can be outspoken at times. This is not different from any coach I have experienced, having been an athlete myself. I have been in physical therapy for over 30 years, along with being a part of a large research and development of performance improvement and sports injury prevention program, specifically for female, adolescent athletes. Every girl out there is somebody's "Princess" as mine of course was and always will be. This did not mean she was given a "pass" on anything when it came to the team and coaching. This is all during the time that I became the vertical trainer for the team, and an assistant coach. This owner is fair, and consistent. As a coach and trainer, my daughter was not an exception. I approached this owner after approximately 2 years of watching my daughter with this organization and the coaches. It was my decision to approach this due to what I was seeing. What I had, and have seen, is an owner and coach, along with other coaches, that do this because they love it. He keeps prices down, he is fair, he will try to help when able and does care about the girls not only being a better player, more importantly being a part of the community that helps develop a stronger person for the future. Many may not know it, or understand him, I do know he has a heart of gold. That is why I became a part of this organization. Thank you to the Jumpstart and Spikes volleyball organization not only because it helped develop my daughter into a sturdier person, it has also given me opportunity to make a difference in a manner that counts so much to all of us. The good news, is that the training is pretty decent, and the instructors are knowledgeable. And…read morethat is where the good ends. The facility is cramped and not real welcoming, tucked away behind another business in a more industrial area. Really a pretty poor location. This could be over looked by the decent training. What cannot be over looked is the ridiculous contract. It is very tightly written with exceptions that are almost impossible to use if you get injured or move. I wanted to change my membership based on how far away I live. Owner claimed he couldn't because he didn't have enough members. If a $50 change in one membership has a detrimental effect on your business you have bigger problems. He also claimed there was no out to the contract, and best I could do was transfer it to someone else, and acted like he was doing me a favor. He later offered to lower my membership but at this point there was no way I was supporting a dishonest business like this. I did buy you my contract at a significant discount. I did this because it is not worth the cost and stress to fight it. I should have read the contract more closely (having a physical copy would have been a plus) and I should have chosen the lower cost option, but the owner should have been more willing to work with me. The goal of a business like this is to keep members, and not working with your members (within reason) is not a way to keep members. Learn from my mistake, and don't sign a contract.

I'm visiting from out of town and when I do I love to go and meet people at the senior centers…read morewhatever I'm traveling so I went to the senior center and I love to play bunco and they had Bunco while I was here so I arranged my schedule and went on time to the center to play bunco and I was told it was going to be $5 and when I got to the table to pay she could not find my name on the list and I swear k o r i Corey at the front desk and signed me up however the ladies who take the money at the Bunko table we're very smug they told me I had to pay an additional $10 that's insane why why they should treat their guests and visitors better than that. These people acted like I was trying to bust into a $10,000 a year private golf club or something anyway I wish I had known that I just don't understand why there's resident and non-resident prices anyway why why I guess I'm going to have to have some conversations with the managers of some of these senior centers you know most seniors are on a fixed income no matter where they're from. That extra $10 they wanted me to pay which was a total of $15 then is a quarter of what it cost for their entire year membership anyway that's BS if you're visiting from out of town go if you can afford it otherwise there's a lot of other things to do when you're traveling
