Now, our swimmer no longer goes to this swim club but they still continue to take money from our account even after SEVERAL attempts to contact them about this matter. Next steps will be to take further legal action to recover our money. This place does not run a professional business and I would be very careful on your decision of taking your child here for quality lessons and customer service!!!

While we remained hopeful due to our children's potential, the consistent administrative failures and lack of professional integrity from management have made it impossible to stay. The management here is incredibly difficult to work with. Scheduling is a persistent challenge, and interactions with the leadership team are often met with a disrespectful and dismissive tone. Most concerning was the discrepancy between the "progress app" and the staff's assessments. Despite the app showing our kids had met the necessary benchmarks, management repeatedly insisted they "needed more time" on basic skills. This created a stagnant loop that felt more about extending tuition cycles. Policies & Make-up Classes The handling of make-up classes was the final straw. While the facility initially promises flexibility with make-ups to secure your enrollment, they make it nearly impossible to actually schedule them. When we attempted to utilize our accrued credits, we were met with resistance and instead pressured to pay for additional private lessons. It is truly a shame to see a place with such potential treat long-term clients this way. We are excited to move to a new location where we hope our children will finally receive the instruction and respect they deserve. If you are looking for a program that values progress over profit, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

We were able to set up a private try-it class with Ocean First (we actually have 3 separate…read moreclasses). We set it up for our girl scout troop. They were easy and pleasant to work with to get the classes set up. We had our first class today. I attended the class today as well. Our teacher was professional and personable. We did 30 minutes in class room. and then 90 minutes in the pool. I personally deal with some sensory issues and i was able to work through them and was personally very happy with my experience. The girls that were able to go today also all really enjoyed themselves! What a great experience! I can't wait for my other girls to be able to try it. I did my Accelerated Open Water Certification Course through Ocean First with Julie Remp here in…read moreBoulder and had a stellar experience. Julie was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to make us all feel comfortable with the variety of skills we needed to know to safely dive for the first time. I felt very prepared from the pool sessions she led to be able to do my open water certification and sessions out in Hawaii. I wasn't able to finish out my certification through Ocean First due to time constraints, but the Dive Instructor out in Hawaii was incredibly impressed with my proficiency underwater, stating that if I hadn't been signed up for the course, they would have assumed I was a much more experienced diver. I lend much of that to the great instruction I had here in the pool. I cannot recommend the course enough and certainly suggest everyone who wants to learn to dive to stop by.

We've enrolled our children in both private and semi-private lessons and have been consistently impressed by the instruction and the progress they've made. The instructors are patient, calm, and truly attentive to each child's needs. Our kids are excited to come to their lessons, and as a parent, it's incredibly reassuring to see how thoughtfully the instructors handle different personalities and learning styles. Even during semi-private lessons, each child still receives meaningful, individualized attention. Beyond the instruction itself, the environment makes a huge difference. The facility is always clean and well maintained, and it's such a relief that the building and water are consistently warm--even in the dead of winter. We also get great use out of the play pool while siblings are waiting for their lessons, which makes scheduling multiple kids so much easier. Tyler and the management team are always responsive and supportive, and it's clear that everyone here genuinely cares about what they do. Waterworks was my third and final shot for swim lessons. To say Tyler is a godsend is an understatement! Tyler worked on building trust with her and making her feel safe in the water. No matter how much she cried, Tyler never gave up on her. Without Tyler's patience, kindness, and support, our toddler would not have made the progress that she made. Fast forward six months, Tyler has taken her from a frightened baby to a toddler that loves to jump in the pool and swim under water. Miss Stacy has an amazing program that helps get moms, dads and babies ready and comfortable in the water. The price point per lesson is a bit high but no more than market standards as we have noticed. But the cost is truly worth it once you see your little ones start to swim and love the water. I would have loved to give a 5 star review but honestly had to hold back. I felt like when our teacher was out due to vacation, illness, etc we were very well accommodated but felt the lesson was sometimes a lost lesson because the sub wasn't always on the same page as our son. Yes be still was able to swim for the day or week as scheduled so his skills were touched on but each teacher had a different way with their own lessons and sometimes we felt this would have been easier to make up our lesson with our regular teacher who knew the skill set and advancement or challenges of our child.
