Best swimming school in the Denver Metro area! My son has been coming here since September and he has made so much progress under excellent coaching. Alex has been an incredible coach. Seeing all he is capable of learning and doing at such an early age has been amazing. It won't be long before he can swim safely and correctly by himself. Thankful for a good coach who pushes him but also makes swimming fun. I also love that he's not just learning how to swim, but also learning good technique/form. The pools are above ground which is unlike anything I've seen, but I love how they use technology to help swimmers improve. For the little kids, it's nice because there's a camera on every pool so you can see everything your child is doing during their lesson from the waiting area. Janey at the front desk is the kindest soul. She cheerfully greets every family as they arrive. She loves all the kids and makes an effort to get to know them and their parents. It has such a strong family feel. Janey went above and beyond for us when we were having some family struggles at the end of the year and I so appreciate her kindness. She worked hard to accommodate our issue and find a solution for us. I'm so glad we switched from our previous place and came here. It's a little more expensive than our previous place but worth every single penny. I won't go anywhere else! The facility isn't large, but they have a pleasant waiting room, a number of changing rooms, and a small shop where you can swimwear and accessories. The swim school is located around the back of the VCA pet hospital. The first time I came I got a little confused where the entrance was since you can't see it from the street. They don't do make-ups so it's important to be able to commit if you go here. They're looking for people that are serious about swimming, which I appreciate. read more

This place is really terrible. The prices are insane. I thought I had seen it all before with high prices for kids horse back riding lessons and ballet and gymnastics but this place takes the cake. Since when do swim lessons cost more per hour then a weeks worth of groceries! Then they demand you pay in advance with a 50% cancellation fee??!!?!!! These people are nuts. My doctors office doesn't charge me a 50% cancellation fee. The "instructors" are all high school kids that don't have a clue what they are doing. You go and pay $$$$$ to swim in a glorified hottub that is actually nothing like swimming for real. I would avoid this place at all cost. Swimlabs is amazing!!! My daughter screamed and screamed at our previous swim lesson place and I was picking up auction donations for our school and dropped by swim labs to pick theirs up and saw their small pools and really loved the idea of small pools vs a giant one. I was super nervous when I brought her in for her free group lesson trial .... since our past swim experiences were not so great... but she came out bursting with excitement that she wanted to take more!!! She's been enrolled since last May and we did a complete 180 she started at "super scary / drowning" to can swim under water confidently and now can do the back stroke with ease!!! Its crazy! We took several months of semi-private swim lessons here last fall. The lessons were good, but the staff at the front desk was so incredibly rude that after months of being treated poorly, I ultimately decided to seek lessons elsewhere. I called recently to get options for a spring session and guess what... The staff member that answered the phone was (once again) incredibly unhelpful and rude. Our son has benefitted from taking lessons at SwimLabs. He is on the autism spectrum and this great resource not only teaches him how to swim but also gives him a wonderful way to interact with the trainers in a safe community setting. I compete in triathlons and have taken lessons at swimlabs to improve my stroke. I have improved my swim times each season as a direct result of the lessons I've received from Michael Mann and Giff. Swim labs is the best place I have ever taken my grandson to. You get adult experience teachers that really do care if your child learns. They take the time to stop and explain. We are doing private lessons here opposed to group due to personal issues. Would greatly prefer group as its a great socialization skill for kids, but the private lessons are really helping our daughter get some good stroke learning down. The staff is just great here. They have always been helpful and polite. Answer my million and one questions and have proven to be well with the change from swim lessons at the rec. They cover an impressive amount of material in their 30 minute lessons and even allow kids to play in the river. I've observed the lessons with kids of all skills and ages and they do a great job changing to the needs of the present kid. read more

Very difficult to schedule private lessons. Each session was with a different instructor that had no idea what the previous instructor went over. The instructors would often ask "so what do you want to work on today" what a waste of money! read more

Fantastic. My 10 year old has tried the rec center classes in HR, but that was horrible. We were recommended to SwimLabs by a friend, and we have not been disappointed. My daughter was terrified of the water. We had taken her to swim lessons at many different places. We invested in lots of private lessons and no one could help her overcome her fear until we went to Swim Labs. The first class created an unbelievable confidence in her that I didn't think was possible. My daughter now loves the water and swims regularly. I have been a competitive swimmer all my life and the technology that swim labs utilizes is unparalleled anywhere in the market. I could go to the US Olympic Training center to get the same work done but I would be laying down 100s and 100s of dollars. I have not had one bad experience at swim labs and would recommend it to anyone wether you are just learning to swim or simply looking to just tweak your stroke a little bit to drop that extra .2 and get your cut. Their video analysis has helped me to make extraordinary leaps in my stroke technique and I am now looking to swim for a Division 1 school in college. I highly recommend swim labs. read more

Swimlabs was an awesome place to take my kids to learn to swim! I had tried the Highlands Ranch Rec centers for several sessions first. They were less expensive but my kids just weren't making much progress and with 3 kids 6 and under I NEEDED at least the oldest one to be able to swim independently! My 6 year old was swimming independently after about a month of group lessons and my 4 year old was swimming independently well before she went to Kindergarten (maybe 6 months of lessons). Swimlabs made trips to the pool so much better and safer for us! Over the last couple of years we have taken some group lessons and have done some private and semi-private lessons. I highly recommend a private or semi-private lesson to work on your stroke technique for kids or adults! All of the instructors we have worked with over the years and the office staff have been fantastic to work with! read more

WOW-- I watched my 3 year old grandson begin to swim in just a few fun lessons. Thanks to caring instructors , cool technology, teaching devices (like the hand bar), and warm water, my grandson is beginning to swim independently. great staff and amazing analysis for serious swimmers. My daughter took lessons there and they were nice but they seem to do the children more as extra cash and less as swim lessons. The time the children actually get in lessons was less than 10 minutes each probably closer to 5. I would look elsewhere for children but pros there is no better place to go. read more

Swimlabs is amazing. My daughter had the opportunity to swim there a few times and received immediate feedback as to what she was doing right and what she needed to fix with her strokes. With the underwater cameras capturing her strokes she could see what she was doing under the water. The comparison of her stroke vs. an olympian really helped her understand what she needed to do to fix her strokes. I wish she would have learned to swim at Swimlabs from day one because she wouldn't have had to break so many bad habits that she learned from the swim lessons she received at the local recreation department. Don't waste your money on mediocre lessons just learn from the best and go to Swimlabs. It is seriously worth every bit of the money. It is not only for kids, I took a lesson myself and realized how much more efficient of a swimmer I could be if I utilized the information I received from my lesson and the video that I received is my helpful reminder. Now that we moved out of the area...we really miss swimlabs and are hopeful there will be one opening near us sometime soon. read more

My kids went to Swimlabs for 2 years. The swim instructors are great; they are very knowledgeable and work well with children. However, I'm only rating them with 3 stars due to the problems with scheduling. We had a standing appointment for six months that the office staff gave to another family without telling us. Then, after another three months on a different day, they changed our semi-private time slot to a group lesson. The instructors were great, but they have out grown their space and were unable to keep my kids in their semi-private slot consistently. It was sad since my kids loved it there. read more
