The moment you check-in you are greeted by a friendly smile by Calie making sure you are comfortable, offers drinks and goodies before seeing the dentist. Then comes the dental technician Alex who is equally congenial, polite and knowledgeable. You just know he loves what he is doing. My dentist Dr Ortega is the coolest dentist there is. He makes you feel at ease and talks to you like a friend you've known for years. And of course, the actual dental work is top quality. I also like they present the treatment plan covering first the most important dental issues that needs to be prioritized. They are in-network with my dental insurance so the price quotations show the amount insurance will cover. This makes it easier for budgeting amd scheduling purposes. This was my first appointment, so just an exam and cleaning. But JC and Jerroll are the best! So friendly and fun, and treat you like an actual person. I am not one to write reviews, but the phenomenal experience I have had with Dr. Kerry warrants one. I have spent many years dealing with teeth issues following an accident. I have had many patch jobs on my teeth that ultimately did not do me justice. I decided it was finally time to get the cosmetic work done that I knew I needed. I spent hours pouring over reviews and ultimately decided on Dr. Kerry and I am so thankful that I did! She has been the consummate professional throughout the entire process. She gave me several options for my path forward that took into consideration the health of my teeth, the look I wanted and my budget. Ultimately, I had Invisalign, whitening, 4 composite veneers on my front teeth and a little cosmetic work on my k-9s to prevent chipping. I was very nervous about the veneers in particular but Dr. Kerry really is an artist. She took her time sculpting and perfecting them over the course of 5 hours. She cares about how they look just as much as you care! I have had great reactions from friends and family like, "wow, your teeth look so perfect, but natural!" Which is exactly what I was hoping for. I would also add that her team and staff are all kind, knowledgeable and professional as well which helped put me at ease. But it doesn't end there, Jerrol, who has cleaned my teeth twice now is possibly the best hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth. Looking for a new Dentist? If you just moved to San Diego, or like me your old dentist retired this is a fantastic office with excellent staff. Dr Ahmadi has invested in technology that baffles the mind. I just had 4 crowns done in ONE DAY. Gone are the massive globs of goo to take impressions (I always gag). She uses a scanner to replace that process. A simple passing of a wand over my teeth and all that is complete. She then prints the new crown on a 3D printer, makes some adjustments, and glues it into your mouth. Total time for me was about 1hour per tooth and the crown is complete!!! No sending out to a lab for 2 weeks. No extensive grinding or shaping (there is some). And an exact color match (see photo). My bottom 4 teeth in front are all new crowns. Her technology was able to match my existing (kind of yellow) perfectly, and this all happened in one hour. I see by the other reviews that everyone including me thinks she and the entire staff are both pleasant and courteous. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Dr. Ahmadi was on our insurance list of dentists so my husband and I decided to visit her office for our routine check up. This is the most beautiful dental office we have ever seen and everyone is super friendly. Dr. Ahmadi did a very thorough exam and explained everything she saw on the x-rays, she even showed us photos of our teeth during the exam. There is a super nice massage chair in the office which we used while we waited for each other's cleanings. I highly recommend this dental office. read more

My Dentist of 40 years had retired. Since Dental visits were never my favorite thing, it was easy to put it off (for several years) Finally, I saw a post about SmileStyle Dental Studio with a discount for an Exam, X-Rays and cleaning. It was like it was meant for me. They did such a fantastic job and with a 'new' cleaning style ( at least for me) where they used high frequency water spray to clean my teeth. No scraping anymore.
