This shop is a scam for alignments. I went in for an alignment and left worse than how my vehicle was left my steering wheel crooked i also paid for tire rotation and balance not once did i hear an impact gun go off. Came here to have tires mounted and balanced. They mounted them, and on the way home I could tell at high speeds they didn't balance them. Also could tell the wheel weights were not touched physically. I called to ask if they did, and they immediately shifted the blame to the tires. They also filled up the tires almost 15 psi higher than they were supposed to. They do not follow California BAR rules on documenting what services were performed either. No invoice, no authorizing the work, no guaranteed price before work begins. just a payment receipt. "Should be around $50-70" I should've known when they wouldn't tell me a price. read more

I was advised to come here to patch up my tire because the other tire place was not able to fix it. The nail was not in the repairable area. So the gentleman up front said he was able to do so. I didn't catch his name but a very nice man. There were 2 customers ahead of me and within 45 minutes, they took my car in to patch/plug the tire. Very reasonable price. It's currently 9:50pm at night and stuck right past the dear springs on-ramp heading north back to Temecula sitting on the road waiting with a 37 week pregnant wife and a flat tire. I came here last Monday to repair a leak on my passenger rear tire and while driving home today 9/26 my wife and I heard a weird sound coming from the tire that was repaired. I needed four used tires for a project car. I had called other shops but went to Smiley's because of reviews. When I got there, I waited for him to find four matching tires and told him mismatched brands were okay. I also brought cash, and asked for a lower price because they would be going on a project car so I didn't need super high quality. Well, despite paying full price, I have four different brands of tires, and three different sizes. I could've easily gotten four much better tires at other shops for the same price. I came here a few years ago to get some tires (that I already owned) put on my wheels. When I got home I noticed some scratches on my wheels. I called the owner who was really cool about everything and that was that. The owner was really nice which is why I'm giving them a 2 star review. I could care less about my wheels seeing as they're really wheels and see the dirt often enough that they're going to get beat up. I'm deducting 3 stars because of how much agony their installation caused me a week later. When I went to remove the lugs I found that they weren't torqued to spec. The tech that worked on my car was REALLY impact happy and went to town on it. I ended up breaking 2 lugs in the process of removing them. I was pretty mad but didn't say anything and figured I'd just let it go since it might've been my fault. I didn't have any impacts at the time. Cut to 2 weekends ago. My uncle called me up to help him switch the wheels on his car. When I went to remove the lugs, they were stuck like no other. I ended up snapping two 3/4 to 1/2 craftsman adaptors (one of them being an impact) before finally asking him where he got the wheels done. When he said smileys It brought back my experience. I was just talking to two of my friends last weekend as we worked on my car and I brought this up. They both had a similar experience here. For reference, my wheel lug torqe spec is 85lb/ft and I had a 2 foot breaker bar with a 170lb guy on the end of it. There's no way that was torqued even remotely to spec. Im not saying they're a bad shop. They're prices are great and they're customer service is pretty good, but the product of their work isn't quite up to par. read more

Despite my car being low, Andrew took my car in for an alignment and installed new tires on my new wheels that I had bought. P.S. if you have a big job for them like mine I suggest you drop off your car. When I got the car, my old tires and wheels were properly stored in the trunk of my car. (Some tire shop from the past just threw my old wheels in the back of my car -_-) I was really impressed with their job! Love the outcome. Got a set of 19 inch rims and matching Federal wheels at a great competitive price. Balancing and installation included in price. Transfer of stock TPMS sensors included. Waiting area is nice and clean. Netflix running to keep you busy while you wait. A-plus service when I needed to get aftermarket TPMS sensors to replace stock sensors.
