Sadly I had to look for a new tire shop and having your car worked on is something very personal to me. What is most important to me is work done right, communication, and a fair deal for the customer and shop conducting the work. After doing extensive research on which tires I wanted on my car, communication with the shop was excellent. A fair price was given for the tires and work to be conducted. I love that they gave me the out the door price for the tires, mounting, balance, and alignment. The work was conducted quickly. After owning many cars and now that my civic is at about 120k I thought it was just aging. I take mountain roads, some poorly maintained road, and put a lot of miles on my car in a given year. After driving the car just a few miles, the car drives noticeably different, stiffer, smooth and straight like an arrow. Awesome job done with the alignment. They ordered the wrong size tires and then charged me to balance my old tires I gotta go back ( different store) and get new tires put on it. Unbelievable, horrible customer service. By far the best tire store around. They didn't have the exact tires for my Bronco so they ordered them right then. Tires were there a few hours later and they installed all 4 in less than an hour. The price was great...hundreds less than the big tire places I checked prior. So much less that I chose to add on road hazard etc. The zero pressure salesmen were great. Brought my 2017 Outback to get serviced here. Left with a low oil light, but I figured it was just a false positive due to the oil change. Later checked the dipstick and found it to be completely dry. Had to buy more oil and add 2 additional quarts before I got a proper reading on the dipstick. I've been getting my other car serviced here regularly without incident, but I suppose it's time to start servicing my own vehicles to make sure the job gets finished. Can't really say whether or not this place is really up to par with other tire shops. I'm no tire expert and one only cares about tires either during a flat or balding. Mine was the latter. Eh, didn't feel like I was taken advantage of (or at least to a point of despair). Was unsold on the roadside hazard coverage though. I'm all about having extra insurance if it's affordable. Knew what type of tires I wanted and corresponding warranty. So did more homework than the average tire consumer. All-in-all, the work was done quickly and the car seems to have better handling. No complaints. Slightly above average rating just because I based on online price comparisons, they were "best for less." HA! Tip: call ahead of time instead of a walk-in (or drive-in -- HA!) so that you know of their schedule. If you have an appointment, then they'll be able to provide you with a much better ETD. Service and price was good. Purchased 4 new tires and had them installed. However, the next morning I woke up to a flat tire that I had to change with the spare at 4am before I could leave for work. Made it to work on the spare. After inspecting the tire I discovered the Valve stem leaking at the base. A rare honest company in the auto repair industry. I spotted a screw stuck in my tire. It looked like it may be superficial, but not wanting to risk a busted tire in my driveway, I drove to Best for Less and asked for some advice. The attendant, Cliff, told me there was a good chance it was a puncture and it was a good idea that I let them take it out so they could patch it if it was. I was told it would be $20 even if it wasn't a puncture because of the time if would take to do the inspection. I left the car with them, slightly hesitant because I've been burned in the past when all of the sudden it costs hundreds of dollars to fix what seemed like a minor issue. After a couple hours, I came back to get my car and was handed a bill for $0. They took the screw out, gave it a thorough inspection and decided it was safe. Since they didn't have to patch it, they decided not to charge me anything. read more
