I had brought it to a dealer and got a pretty high cost for a remanufactured transmission. I decided to look around for a transmission shop and D & D had many good reviews. The price he stated to rebuild MY transmission was less than half of the dealer cost, so I agreed and left the truck with him. A couple days later, he texted me a few pictures of the disassembled transmission AND a short video of part of what he was doing. A couple days later, I stopped into the shop to thank him for the pictures and he brought me in the bay to show me the transmission and the pieces he would discard and some of the new pieces he had received so far. For about 15 minutes, he basically gave me a tutorial on how a transmission worked and what some parts did. It was over my head but I realized he really knew what he was talking about. All new parts were installed so basically, I have a new transmission. He also replaced the transmission cooling lines that were leaking. The job came with a 24 month, 12,000 miles warranty. Very pleased with the work and customer service.

The shop blamed it on the interlock company saying the devices are old but it's so obviously the way they installed it!! I'll insert a photo of the wires and how dirty they left my brand new car. They couldn't even place a paper mat to keep my mat clean while they installed it? The owner Mark will dodge you if you have any problems. When I went to get the wires fixed, he wouldn't come talk to me for 30 minutes. He gave me his personal cell, and still doesn't answer my questions.

The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe.
