Manager said, come on in, anytime, despite my wanting to make an appointment. Next day, I show up at 11:30a, said I was the guy who called asking to make an appointment for a balancing. All of the staff were at max capacity, and manger was looking a bit frazzled. Manager recognized me by my intro. I said, "I'll bet you wish you.." and he finished my sentence: "wished I hadn't told you to come in anytime?" We both chuckled, and he said, "let me see what I can do." He popped his head into the shop, and within seconds, said, "I've got you." Fifteen minutes later, a tech popped out of the shop and asked if my wheels had EVER been balanced, because there was no sign of any weights ever having been there (alloy rims). I said that I was surprised, because Costco had done the install six years earlier, and I had never had problems with their work before. Needless to say, they now ride super smooth, and I have complete respect for the manager and technicians. Highly recommend.

This Estimate documented the need for the following replacements: (1) the oil pressure switch, thermostat housing, and power steering pump. On 4/10/2019, Rich replaced the oil pressure switch and thermostat housing. Immediately upon return of the Mustang, the oil-pressure gauge began to intermittently shift from E to F and the dashboard oil-pressure icon illuminated as well. On 4/15/19, the Mustang was returned to Rich's, to remedy the issues of the gauge shift and icon illumination. Bethany Silvia informed me that the problem remained and the condition of the Mustang was my responsibility. On 5/10/19, my wife was driving home, during which the Mustang began a "rat-tat-tat" sound that gained volume. She was less than a mile from Rich's and managed to drive there safely. On 5/14/19, I was informed by Rich that there was a problem with the Mustang "deep in the engine." I then picked up the car from Rich's and drove the Mustang across the street to Karns Automotive Sales & Service, for a second opinion. On 5/15/19, Dan Karns called and indicated the cause of the loud engine noise was the fact that there was no oil in the engine and no reading on the dip stick. Dan added five quarts of oil. The internal noise persists, and the car cannot be driven. A new engine is needed.

They were to check the cylinders to determine if the block needed to be bored, check the main bearing journals for alignment, and check the connecting rods for straightness. Yesterday, May 22 (3 MONTHS later), I decided to pop in and see what progress had been made. Well, exactly nothing had been done. In fact, everything was still sitting in the very same spot in which it had placed when we unloaded it from my truck in February. Needless to say, I was beyond annoyed and quite disappointed. I told them to load it back into my truck and took my property with me. I will never understand how a company can do business in this manner and remain in business.
