When I called, their pricing was perfect for me. They were generous enough to include the exam fee in the root canal price which made it cheaper. What a great option for those who are self pay. They also take Care Credit. This makes it easy for financing. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted and after checking over the paperwork I did early online, escorted to the back. The assistants and the dentist here were so kind. They took time to answer my questions and help me understand the full procedure. Unfortunately, he found my tooth had already stared cracking and was not likely to be savable. Instead of charging the full root canal price, they only charged a small exam fee. If I ever need a root canal this will be my go to doctor for sure!

My immediate attempts to make an appt with Dr McClure (Lauren) were hopeless...Was advised would be 4 wks as 2 of his associates had left practice & he was short-staffed. Thank God I found Gerich Endodontists in Jacksonville who immediately started taking steps to resolve & save my tooth....CARING, PROFESSIONAL & SO DIFFERENT THAN ST.JOHNS ENDODONTISTS. They took FOUR MONTHS to contact patients about dropping an entire LARGE medical insurance provider. Then, the call came under 14hrs BEFORE an appointment, that had been scheduled over six months in advance. Their excuse? "We have a lot of patients". It's, apparently, too hard to generate an email (I receive their updates) message to patients under that provider and let them know about that pesky detail. An electronic calendar too hard, too, a thing to use. Not the first (or tenth, for that matter) admin issue; I remained with them for over 3 years due to the quality of care, but seldom they were on the ball about paperwork. Also my favorite, the lip from admin personnel. Love that. Just a shame.

The front desk is very welcoming, professional, and courteous. My teenage son was first seen for a cleaning and consultation for several extractions. The hygienist was amazing. I let her know my concerns and she was very understanding. She made sure that my son knew all of the consequences for not taking care of his teeth. She is amazing! I am terrible with names but I do believe her name was April. If I am wrong please forgive me. He later saw Dr. Scales for fillings and teeth extractions he had zero complications or complaints. His mind was at ease and he was told what was being done and what to expect every step of the way. As I waited in the waiting area they made sure to let me know how he was doing a couple times throughout the procedure. Afterwards, Again I am terrible with names, the young lady with beautiful red hair, was very thorough with the after care instructions I was confident in what needed to be done at home. I had a very small filling fall out and they were able to make an appointment for me quickly. Before my appointment I had a bigger filling fall out, they got me in and were able to assess the problem and do a temporary fix until my appointment and made sure I was not in pain over the weekend. I saw Dr. Moreno and he was amazing. His staff put my mind at ease, as I have a fear of the numbing shots. I did not even feel the shots or anything else during the entire procedure. They made my crown the same day, so I did not have to get a temporary crown and take more time off of work for another appointment to get the permanent crown. Again I am bad with names, this young lady is from Kentucky, and she made sure my crown was perfect. Her and Dr. Moreno made sure that all of my concerns and questions were addressed before I went home. The young ladies at the counter when you leave are great as well. They have always addressed any questions I had. I know there are some behind the scenes people whom I have never met but they answer the phone when I call and they are amazing. They always explain everything to me and make sure I completely understand before we hang up. As I stated earlier they made appointments for me very quickly when needed, even called me if there was a cancellation so I could be seen sooner. just now New I have…read morehad fantastic experiences with Dr Currie over the last two years since moving to Ponte Vedra Beach. I have needed two root canals and had symptoms for another that Dr Currie diagnosed as something else. He was right and I did not need a root canal on that tooth. He and the whole staff at St. Johns Endodontics have been 100% kind, careful, caring and super competent! By far the best people I have ever had work in my mouth! I am 66 and retired after running a very large business that was focused on customer service across 2000 employees so I know what I'm talking about when I see great customer service like I've experienced with Dr Currie and St. Johns Endodontics!! And the building is beautiful inside with indirect lighting - great music - and wonderful art including some calming art on the monitors above your head while having a procedure done - first class all the way! Finding a place to get in the same day…read morefor such a procedure is almost impossible - BUT - my dentist contacted Mandarin Endodontics and they squeezed me in that same day. Dr Jason Allen did a (re)-root canal on a tooth that had the same procedure done by a NON endodontist less than a year ago (that in itself was a hard leeson learned - cha-ching!) I won't make that mistake ever again - only an endo-expert, Dr Allen, from now on for any endontics care! The tooth, a large molar, had 4 canals which the 1st dentist failed to notice. Dr Allen and his staff were most comforting and made me feel at ease for what turned out to be 2+ hours in the chair. Procedure was flawless and other than Tylenol, no pain meds were needed. For certain, if/when I have ANY endo work to be done, I will be returning to Dr Allen and staff at Endodontics of Mandarin. As…read morea kid growing up in the 80's like most all kids i was tortured by dentist with bad skills, so i made the mistake of avoiding the dentist as i got older, even then still the pain was off putting, but i must say that i never have had any discomfort with Dr Lee or his staff, He has done some pretty in depth work over the years,and fixed a lot of poor work done by others and the pain or discomfort is non-existent, there maybe a mil a second of pain here and there, but that is it. long gone are the days of having continues eye watering pain for the whole visit. the staff is great and always kind and helpful. i wouldn't want to go anywhere else and feel lucky we have there office here in Jax.
