I've been holding out because I didn't think anyone could pull it off for me (especially knowing my hair was uneven, as well as extremely dead from bleaching it.) I really believe this was a "wild card" experience. My favorite coffee shop is directly next door to The ASTUTIA SALON. After enjoying my delicious dirty chai latte with a double shot of espresso, I reluctantly wandered into the salon nervously asking if they were able achieve the perfect look. Janice was extremely confident as she explained that she could do exactly what I was dreaming of! My desire was to walk out looking like a rock star... and Janice made that happen! She proved that there are still expert stylists who know how to make their client feel and look funky and beautiful at the same time! My kids, friends, and husband all love my new look! She takes her time, pays attention to detail, and cares about the health of your hair which is so important and appreciated. She gave me some highlights and lowlights with her Balayage magic. The dimension is beautiful. She trimmed me up without hacking six inches off my hair- which is what usually happens. And she styles you to perfection. No rushing you out of there. I also drive to the one in Menifee for my hair cuts. Both Sola Salons are set up the same, with separate "suites" where individual owners are able to rent space for their services. This gives them the opportunity to operate as their own business and be their own boss. If you have a big enough clientele and flow of customers to offset the lease fees, it's a good option to be your own boss.
