Yelp Review…read more Unfortunately, my experience with Jose was very disappointing and unprofessional. I originally contacted him about repairing my dryer, and he told me he would come out to help. I waited and made several attempts to contact him, but he never showed up and never gave me the courtesy of letting me know that he was no longer coming. What was especially disappointing was that my messages were being read, but I received no response. I understand that things happen and schedules can change, but communication is extremely important when you are running a business. A simple message or phone call saying he couldn't make it would have been enough. I had also recommended Jose to other people, and they experienced the same difficulty trying to reach him. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can no longer recommend his services. I'm sharing this review not out of anger, but because I believe customers deserve professionalism, honesty, and basic communication. I truly hope Jose takes this feedback seriously and understands how frustrating it is for someone to wait for a service and then be completely left without an explanation. This time I was smelling gas every time I ran the dryer and my laundry room and kitchen was filled with condensation. I called Zip and they could have come out the next day. They worked around my schedule and we got a date on the calendar with a 3 hour window. They were able to give me a call when they were headed to my house. That was helpful because I work about 15 minutes from my home. I was able to get home in time to meet the repairman. The rate is $139 for showing up, but that is applied to the work done. The repairs were professional and Jose explained the issue. There was a leak in the connection to the dryer. He fixed that issue and explained the condensation issue came from the dryer vent to our roof being clogged. He cleaned that out as well. I paid a total of $249. That was worth it to have everything safely connected and clear. They will work on all appliances. I highly recommend Zip.
