I was really excited to have finally found someone who seemed very knowledgeable about repairing our appliances, We own a 144-apartment complex and have units with stackable washers and dryers. We called speedy appliances to come and check out some units which they did and charged us the service fee of $60.00 for 3 units, which we know is standard. Upon receiving these services and paying the service fee we did know that our appliances would need extensive work, so we were ready to pay and get these appliances going, the 3 units are still occupied and the appliances are used for daily chores. Jose did let us know he would need to order the parts and come back but would need payment upfront to complete all fixings, We agreed that we would order the parts and get started immediately. We had an issue with Jose submitting a needed description of the services that were set to be complete, which we never received. We reached out multiple times and at first, we received text messages of issues with sending a description of the job via email. We then reached out again to confirm that the parts to these appliances have been ordered which he did say he ordered them which was a lie, We have tenants who rely on us to get services done in a timely manner, and having to hunt down someone who we already paid the service fee too is unprofessional. To this day we are still waiting for that email description and the parts that were ordered to complete the job. Please look elsewhere if any appliance maintenance or repar is needed. read more

"Great quality and speed" is what they portray, but it was not the case for me. I needed my refrigerator ice maker repaired. The first appointment was May 1st. Went well, he determined it needed a part and quoted the price and time frame to come back for the repair. He asked for half the payment upfront, which I immediately venmoed to him. May 8th said he'd be back between 2 and 5. No showed/no called. Joan texted me the next day to reschedule to May 16th between 4-6. They showed at 630 and were there less than 10 minutes. May 21st, my ice maker actually started making ice only to quit again on June 3rd. Asked if their work had any warranty and was told yes, 60 days, but then they wouldn't respond to my request to have them come back. June 28th, they finally responded to me and set an appointment to come back out June 30th. They AGAIN, no showed/no called. After many other attempts to get them to respond, they didn't. I finally responded, letting them know I'd be leaving a bad review and finding someone else. They actually responded to that with, "No problem, have a blessed day." I was going to attempt to leave a remark on Better Business Bureau, but shockingly, they aren't listed. Anyway, probably save yourself some time and frustration with finding a better company. *I asked about all of your openings and was told you only had refrigerator techs in the afternoon. It wasn't my "tight precise scheduling" that was the issue. You're defecting on your poor customer service. I was more than willing to take time off work. read more

This guy really does not seem to want repeat business. We had used him once before in one of our rentals, and were happy with his service. But our recent encounter with him is pretty similar to the other bad reviews--he ghosts you when there are issues. We first contacted Speedy Appliance Repair end of November to repair our washing machine. We were having issues with drainage, and the Jose (the owner) came out and quickly diagnosed that it was a possible pump issue. We took his recommendation for a new pump and placed an order, prepaid, for a replacement part and it was ordered. We waited for some weeks, and Jose told us he had Covid, but that he would get to us when he was able. We finally scheduled something end of January. Unfortunately, he scheduled the installation between 3-6, but his technician didn't show up until 7:30. He replaced the pump, but the housing was incorrect and a leak resulted with a pool of water in the bin beneath the washing machine. We cleaned up the water, but the pump still leaks. We have tried to contact Jose for the replacement pump, but he does not respond. Our last contact was a text form the owner on Feb 5 that the new pump would "be here tomorrow" but then we have heard nothing. Here we are close to four months later with a leaky pump, and no response from the owner regarding the service. This service and owner is 1) Not speedy, and 2) Not reliable and 3) a Rip Off. Worse, he just ghosts you. I have since found better. read more

We had an issue with a leaky fridge at the front bottom. Called Speedy Appliance, Jose arrived within an hour after I called. Within a couple of minutes he determined the problem- a clogged defrost drain line. On the spot he quoted us a very reasonable price and he then not only fixed the drain line problem, he removed/cleaned up a fair bit of ice that had built up underneath, and also checked over and cleaned/vacuumed any debris built up on coils, condenser etc. The whole time, he explained to my wife and I everything he was doing, and why.
