I do not recommend this company for appliance repairs. I had Reece come out for a freezer repair as my freezer was not staying cool. She charged me $300 to get this fixed. However a week or so later I started having issues with my ice machine and slowly it was getting worse. Eventually I wasn't able to get ice dispensed from it at all. I contacted her about this and she told me she would charge a $125 service fee again to come take a look even after I explained this issue began once she finished her last repair. And honestly I think my freezer is going to have an issue with staying cool again as I noticed today it is frosting up again slowly. So basically her repair may even up not even working at all and end up causing more damage. She is an older lady so I wanted to be as fair as possible when writing this review but I want to be honest to anyone considering using her for applicable repair. I'd suggest going elsewhere as the cost is high, work isn't done properly and may lead to even more issues which you'll have to pay to get fixed again. read more

We had an appointment today. I got a text this morning, asking if she is still needed. "Oh Yeah." I HAD a Dishwasher that wouldn't start. It's been a decade since it was last used. I asked her to shoot me a text, when she was on her way, and got a "ten minutes away" text back. She was masked up, even though we were both vaccinated. I led her to the broken machine, lit up the area, and went back to my couch. I didn't want to hover & interfere. While watching TV, I hear the Dishwasher start! WOW! And it was totally affordable. I highly recommend her. My inverter on my refrigerator went out, I first went with another appliance repair and he told me it was my invertir. He came the next day to replace it and ALL OF A SUDDEN, I also needed a new compressor. I got a second opinion from Sunshine, and she said I DID NOT NEED A NEW COMPRESSOR, all I needed was an inverter and refrigerant. I highly recommend this place. a couple months ago i called another appliance repair person who was ineffective in repairing my Dacor convection oven. in fact, all he did was power off and on the circuit breaker. as the same problem presented itself again, i called for repair again and was handed over to Sunshine. although the name of the company did not immediately instill confidence, i was pleased that i received a quick call back with a repair appointment scheduled for the next day. the repair woman arrived timely and was masked. she demonstrated an immediate understanding of the problem and after dismantling the shell of the motherboard, she cleaned and tightened things. she then did a test and provided me with specific cost estimates. i was pleased with the level of competence she exhibited and i am confident in her. i will be using her again. read more

Sunshine arrived on time. She was friendly, clean, wearing covid-mask. She spent the time to fix the problem and the underlying cause of the the problem, cleaned up her work space, scanned my personal check and went on her way. A pleasant experience all around. I got a couple other cheaper bids but they were all booked for 1-2 weeks so I went with Sunshine because she was available within 48 hours. She did a fine job so I'm happy to pay an extra $20-$30 to get it done sooner than later. read more

During this covid-19 pandemic - both our microwave AND dishwasher went out at the same time! I really didn't want to shop appliance stores and also have a variety of installation people come to the house. Our microwave is built in and it was a pain to install. I am so grateful for Sunshine Appliance! They came right out - diagnosed the issues and in less than week fixed both appliances. Also much cheaper than replacement.
