Id give zero if I could. worst smiths ever . I have come here for over 2 years almost daily. and I was beyond disappointed. I usually am patient and understanding and tried to be . but this was ridiculous! I understand if your pick up order was a little behind . ok and the thing is not only was it not ready I went inside to speak to someone they said they'd get I waited 15 mins for a manager that literally never came. The imperfect tomatoes in the discount bin were ripe and delicious. I will check this little cart out for more deals on ripe produce. The sushi was spicy but it was half the size of the $6 sushi at sprouts. It was good that they labeled them raw or cooked. The negative was that the "crap" sushi was imitation crab meat but it was not labeled. If you read the ingredients it states the ingredients in imitation crab meat. It's some white fish that starts with a "p". I will not be getting the sushi from here again since Sprouts has the same deal on Wednesdays with larger sushi rolls. read more

I live five minutes from this location and also in between two Albertsons stores. However, I like shopping here as the prices seem a bit lower than Albertsons and I think the produce is much better. I use the pharmacy here as well and I just received my yearly Flu shot by walking up and inquiring, no appointment or anything. 30 minutes before closing, they could have turned me away, but they didn't. And, I was surprised to receive $20 bucks added to my rewards account for getting my vaccination here. Nice to have good experiences as a customer these days, it's not very common anymore. My neighbor told me that they don't have it on Friday, I went on Saturday and they don't have it, was told the struck will restock overnight when inquired, came back on Sunday still nothing, was told truck did not show up, keep checking back! Still jonesing about the James Beard award winning chicken wings we had at Cotton & Rye in Savannah, Georgia. I decided to recreate these delectable goodies and headed to my local Smiths for provisions. They didn't have the party type fresh wings I was looking for, but fortunately I encountered Jessie, who patiently tried to decipher my jibberish as to I was looking for, even following me for a point and tell to the prepared foods counter. Nope, they didn't have them, but he made it happen by finding the exact amount I needed and literally "winging it" to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Mood - Thanksgiving sale On this particular occasion we were greeted with great customer service. I had some items I couldn't locate and the employee could tell I was definitely searching. Was quickly pointed in the right direction. Decided to go to Smith's to entertain their sale of spend $25.00 get a Turkey for .47 cents a pound, limit (2). Well I spend that easily and I definitely acquired the 2 turkeys. With the coupons and sale savings ended up paying $9.00+ a little change for a 23lb+ Turkey. Can't beat that. The store was well put together and clean. Christmas decorations up to get everyone in the spirit for the holidays. Pretty decent grocery store with a lot of options. Fruit sometimes is mushy. Some of the employees are nice. I got the racist in this store by cashier Gwen. I gently asked her to cancel two items than she hit hard on the counter number pad and leave the counter for dropping two cancellation items but instead of coming back to me, she chooses other customers to take care of. That customer was lucky helped by two smith employees because of Gwen's kindness. Therefore I have to wait and ask her to come back for my "receipt". Please "train" employees better!! read more

Worst delivery service I have EVER experienced. Not once but twice. I live in San Diego and Vegas. My mom is in Vegas and doesn't drive and can't carry groceries anymore, so I started ordering her groceries online. The first time (last month) I was on the phone texting back and forth because they were out of about 7 items, yet their website said "available for delivery". Take it off your website if u don't have it. They were out of the 1/2 gallon carton of Vitamin D milk so I told the girl, I didn't care what she replaced it with as long as It was Vitamin D WHOLE MILK. My mom in super under weight and has to have whole milk. They sent 2%. Are u kidding me? Second delivery, 2 nights ago. Omg, I thought I was gonna die. I'm not joking when I say, it took 3 hours from beginning (once I placed order) to end. You can't get anything done when they are texting you about replacement products. They were out of 13 out of 25 things. That is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I can understand being out of one or 2 things. But again, this was way too many items, and why aren't they updating their wesite? And these items (both times) aren't items like toilet paper and stuff like that, it's common items, like MILK, half and half, yogurt, coffee, BREAD and so forth. I'm so sick of buying fruits from Smith only to get home and find half of them are rotted. The basil is brown and wilted. I just bought a bouquet of lilies thinking they would bloom and be beautiful. They never even opened they turned brown and died. How can they advertise the way they do about their fresh produce? Everything is expensive enough so if you want to buy food and flowers that you can bring home only to throw out then shop at Smith's on West Charleston:-( I work full time so I don't have the time or the energy to run things back to the store everytime I pay for very poor quality products. read more

Gail is amazing! Even though it was busy today, all of the staff was courteous, helpful and kind. Especially our cashier, Gail. She was friendly, efficient, and helped me navigate my Smiths app to help me find coupons. She shared a way easier and faster way to scan items instead of looking them up manually! The young man who was bagging, she was such a kind mentor to him, giving him tips to succeed in the job. She seems to have everything handled, and was on top of it. I like it here, fresh sushi bar, good produce selection, not usually out of things. If they don't carry an item they will order it for you. Great grocery store- makes me miss HEB, a Texas grocery chain. Walk in to a plethora of fresh and well-priced produce, then progress to the bakery, sushi station, extensive cheese and deli counter, rotisserie chicken and fried chicken station, and the seafood department. I legit did a dance when I found salmon steaks priced 2/$6- can't really beat that. I love fresh seafood and this is likely going to be my store of choice to buy it. Mosey on past the olive bar, and you have a large wine selection too- and if you spot a guy with a Flock of Seagulls haircut, that's the wine department specialist, and he's great. Was doing wine tastings when I was there, and I found a great new California Cab that will likely make it into my regular rotation with it's $13 pricetag. Can't remember the name, but he said it's one of their best sellers- so ask for it! I mostly stick to the perimeter of a store- not a fan of processed junk. But the cat food selection is pretty big and well priced: a 24 pack of Friskies wet food was only $9, enough for my guy to munch for a month. Staff was friendly and helpful during the check out process, as well as when asked for help locating items- join for their store card to get discounts, doing so cut a good $6 off my final total. read more

Nothing too special about this grocery store--seemed well stocked, clean, and most of the staff are friendly enough except for some that work behind the deli counter. It's sad because for the most part, we found everything that we needed and prices weren't too outrageous, at least compared to Hawaii. Some things were actually cheaper than I expected them to be such as fresh produce and all the pastries. Unfortunately, our one experience at the deli counter kinda influenced our overall mood about our visit. We wanted to get some things we could eat right away but no one was at the counter at the time we got there. It was also early morning on a weekday so not many people in the store period, compared to paydays and weekends. My sister went to get someone else to ask if there was a deli worker and when he came, he seemed peeved (like maybe he was on his break). There wasn't anything directly said to us, it was just his demeanor and kinda mean look of "I don't want to be here serving you right now" that turned us off. Not something to make me rate one star or say I'll shop elsewhere. Just something that needs to be improved on that didn't have to make us feel unwelcome. read more

This is not your typical Smith's store! When you enter, to your right is the produce. Just past that section is the Deli featuring Boars Head deli meat & cheeses. A sushi chef is making fresh sushi and there is a salad bar as well, in the middle of the produce and deli counter. To the left of the deli counter, is the meat department. Oh yeah, have a kid? Free cones on saturday! These are the major differences between our neighborhood one (Maryland/Sahara) but I prefer the one on Rancho/Charleston (more family type customers than weirdo customers). We went here for a quick-ish trip. We needed a few things, it was on the way (after Downtown Summerlin's opening weekend festival), so we stopped in before heading home. The decor/design kind of feels a little vintagey though, almost like the older Albertson's. It could need a lift, doesn't quite match the neighborhood. The funny thing is the manager here is someone I worked with years ago, at one of the real estate offices, but when he was at our neighborhood one, he said he didn't remember me (and many realtors remember me).
