This is an amazing Smith's. It used to be some other grocery store, but they went out of business. The Starbucks is great, and it's a pretty big store They have a lot to take in including a nice deli. I'll get lunch from here sometimes. ANOTHER F***g testimony to the fact that if you don't have decent employees you won't keep customers. Due to the pandemic I've been ordering on line and, well, I guess the staff there isn't literate. They didn't know my name ( it was an on line order) came and asked me who I was twice and after waiting 45 minutes in the hot sun they admitted they couldn't get to my order for 45 minute longer. Nope...not happening. I left, called the manger, who said, "what a shame". Count me a FORMER Smith's customer. read more

The reason I'm giving this store one star is because the last 5 times that I have been here, they did not have what I was looking for. What I am looking for is not unusual and is usually found in a big grocery store. Whether it is cake flour or mint, they are always out or don't have it. Vons right across the street is constantly stocked up and I never have a problem finding anything there. Sadly, I used to love Smith's where I lived before, but this one is just awful. Will not be coming back here. The staff is also, unfortunately, either very unhappy working here or just plain rude. They are not helpful at all. I'm in this store every other day. Many of the staff knows my wife and I by name. I love this store. Wil in liquor is awesome, Sheri and Shawn in the front are great, Wil in liquor is awesome and the store almost always has everything that we need. We miss Donnel and Charles the cheese guy. As with everything, there is one bad apple. JAMES at the meat counter has to be the RUDEST, most HORRIBLE person that I've ever delt with at a grocery store. He is condescending and today his attitude was the last straw. We left our cart and will sadly be shopping at Vons going forward. Someone needs to do something about this guy, he has no place in such a great store. We'll be back when he is gone. read more

I've lived here for 4yrs and have been shopping at the Smiths on Rainbow. When they came out w/Clicklist I was all over it. Being I worked on Most wkends I didn't feel like going shopping afterwards. Never an issue! In comes new Smiths, literally 2mins away from my home, loved going to glaciers too and figured why not, it's Smiths right... WRONG! I've never had any issues with things being substituted, not avail or missing. We r a family of 7.. can someone plz tell me why I would ask for 1 banana, or approx 1lb of apples= only 3!! Today I asked for 3lbs of aground beef, I got a small barely 1lb of GB. C'mon ppl this isnt rocketscience.. esp if u see me every wkend, u kinda develop a sense of knowing ur customers?! Just saying.. Smiths on Rainbow always called asking "so we see u ordered only 1lb of GB this wk, passed couple wks it's been over 3 close to 5.." would u like to change it.? Unlike Von's across the street, where they not only take Visa but also my Apple Pay for backup. Beautiful new store. It's a great place, as long as you don't need any help with anything. I went in today, Wednesday, around 3 in the afternoon. Store wasn't busy as it's Wednesday at 3 in the afternoon. I stood at the deli counter for 10 minutes watching six employees mill around. Two other customers were being helped. I stood there 10 minutes unacknowledged. And I left empty-handed. There were four other employees doing arbitrary tasks when a customer is sitting waiting to be serviced. My time is too valuable to waste it in this store. When the very polite clerk who was checking me out asked me how my shopping experience was, I told him what just happened. And he told me that he hears complaints about it all the time. So it's obviously a big problem. I'm just going to continue to shop across the street at Vons where they value their customers time. read more

I love this new Smiths!! They have so many new options in the pre made food section. The convenience of the scan as you go is a amazing addition to this store. It really makes it quick and easy to get in and out of the store. I wish every store was advance as this one! The other thing I really like about this location is that their beer is located inside of refrigerators that have doors on them so the beer is actually colder. read more

Used to be Glaciers Groceries and when I walk inside I still feel like it's not Smiths but... this place is great. They have good deals on certain items and I like that you can get a scanner in the front and scan stuff as you go. It gives you an estimated total and when you get to the self check out you scan a barcode at register and everything uploads! Talk about saving some time. Vons needs to get on that across the street. It's weird they have a Starbucks when there is one across the street at Vons and literally 2 blocks down there's another but not gonna complain.. it's convenient. Overall I've had good experiences here and hope they continue. read more

I very much like this Smith's location. I frequented the former grocery that was once here and though this grocery chain doesn't have some of those specialties, I'm still happy to see this here. Because I use their app and shop their sales accordingly, the value is worthwhile. Staff has been friendly and helpful. It's new, bright and clean despite it being on the smaller end. They compensate for having several self checkout stations. They also have a fresh popcorn station by the entrance. Hello caramel popcorn! The only thing that throws me off is their setup seems backwards from the other two locations I frequent meaning their bakery to grocery starts from left to right instead of the right to left I usually experience. read more

I was sad when Glacier's sold the store to Smith's. But this smiths branch kept the lay out with some upgraded decor and designs from the original Glacier's. And the fact that they kept the artisan bakery and the deli, it still feels like Glaciers. Love it!! My favorite smith store. read more

I was counting down the days until this store opened. I love Smith's, just not this one. The produce department is always out of everything. No cilantro, no kale, no basil etc. The staff, although VERY friendly, runs at a snails pace, even when they aren't busy. The layout doesn't flow and although they have some cool specialty items I don't think it makes it worth stopping by. read more

My wife and kids went into this smiths (which is our daily grocery store we go almost everyday. This trip I had received a 100 dollar gift card from my employer in spirit of thanksgiving. I told my wife to go to the store and get a few things she needed besides food(toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap stuff like that. When using the gift card she had her hands full with our almost 2 year old. The bag boy kindly offered to scratch off the security film from the gift card (since it had never been used before) while the gesture of help is appreciated he got out a knife to get it off and completely scratched the scan barcode for the card rendering it useless. My wife embrassed had to put all the things back because at this point nor the cashier or my wife could make the card work. My wife was upset and embarrassed by this whole situation smiths and management refuse to replace the card! Sad to see they won't replace it even after their own employee broke/rendered it useless. Looks like my family doesn't get to enjoy that gift card or put it to good use like many families need during the holidays. We come to this smiths everyday but looks like we will just go to the one on Tropicana. Management needs to train employees more promptly........just sad read more

Not impressed at all! The one on S Rainbow is much better and nicer. Out of a lot of products which are NOT pandemic related. Cashier was rude and no one bagged the groceries. My daughter has to do it. The lazy cashier bagged one small bag then left it in her area. I almost left without it. I won't be back. This location used to be where Glazers was located. I really loved that store. Sadly they recently closed. It was a really great upscale market. They had everything there. Many different types of foods were stocked daily as well as a fabulous meat counter. I was really hoping that when Smiths moved in they would continue that type of marketplace. They didn't and it's very disappointing. It's just another very average market. I went this morning to see what they had. Just the usual and nothing special. Really disappointing was the empty meat counter. Couldn't even look at anything. I won't be shopping there. read more

Love this store and all it has to offer. Unfortunately, the Deli counter is more of a circus in slow motion. I made the mistake of visiting the deli counter the first week the store was open. I had 6 people in front of me. It took 35 mins to get my order. So I gave it another shot, and this time with 4 people in front of me it still took 30 mins to get my order. Who's in charge here? Two workers that still look like they have no training after all this time. Management has to step up and get this fixed. read more

This smiths is a bootleg smiths. The smiths on rainbow has everything and this smiths has a few things. This store has tried to take on the image of a glaziers it replaces and it's a corporate version of a great neighborhood grocery store. This Smith's store is the best in the Las Vegas valley. I live right by and am always happy to purchase my groceries from here because of their nice staff and wide selection of good price foods. They even have fresh popcorn like Target except with many flavors, so the entire store and parking lot smells like popcorn. YUMMM!! I will always get my popcorn here because its so cheap. I really want to like this smiths since it's so close to my house. Like other people who have left a negative review here, I really miss the old Glazer market years ago. Good customer service is gone since Smith took over. I like to use the self check out . Once a while I would get employees who are just absolutely rude to station there. Today I came to get packs of water. Called service to help scanning the large items in the shopping cart. I thanked the customer service lady for helping out and told her the water was heavy. She asked me who helped me carry them into the shopping cart if it was that heavy and gave me a very unpleasant look. She was rude and very judgmental. I have to call her back once more time unfortunately. She was again very rude. Not a pleasant shopping experience. read more

Horrible customer service from the store director himself, shop at Smith's on a regular basis and use their pharmacy as well. I was sent to this store from ghe Flamingo location due to them being out of propane for the green chili roasting. The Flamingo location called the Warm springs location to asknif they were roasting green chile, they were told yes and that it started at 2PM. I show up to the Warm springs location and see no roasting happening and this is around 210pm. I then look around the produce section and see no chile. I ask the produce guy if they are roasting and have green chile, he advises me they do and its starts at 3pm not 2pm as the manager of the other store was told. I then get upset about the issue because again I'm inconvenienced so I ask to talk to the manager in charge of the store. The store director comes out of the back and already has a attitude with me before I can say anything. I then go onto explain everything to him and he shows no remorse for the issue. He says he will have the guys setup the roaster early but he doesn't know how long it will take. I say fine and then wait while looking around the store, I even go next door to thenprt store to get a few things. I come back after 45 minutes and realize they forgot about me. I find the store director stocking shelves and ask hin what's going on and he again has nothing but attitude and directs me to the produce guy and tells them to get my chile roasted. I go to the register to pay before they roast the chile only to find out its 20$ not 10$ as it was at the previous store. The lady at the register told me she cant price match the other store I then ask for the director again where he takes his time to come up giving attitude and unprofessionalism again. I tell him whats going on and he says that the price is 20$ and the other store was probably in need of selling their chile and he wasnt hurting for the sale at this point Im beyond frustrated after wasting 1 hr of my time at this store after their miscommunications with the other store and the directors lack of customer service skills and attitude. I expressed my issues and frustration to him and again he chuckles and says he's not changing the price to match the ither stores and that not all smiths have the same pricing which is a lie I've never went to one store and paid more or less then the next. So please be aware of the unprofessionalism of this store director and take yiur business elsewhere since he doesnt need the sales! read more

If I could give negative stars I would! I was at Vons about to run in but realized that it was closed, when I googled open stores near me Smiths popped up. The time was 10:52 and all I needed was a small plastic Tupperware for my son to take some of his medication to school. I hopped across the street in my car and a man was walking out, the man said "you better hurry they are closing in like 5 minutes". I wasn't worried at all though, since I was only grabbing some small plastic Tupperwares....it would take me less than 5 minutes. I walked up to the door to see a man with a bad, black mullet and cap guarding the door. I approached and gave him a hand signal asking if they were closed already, even though google, and online in general said they were still open for another 5 minutes and he gestured back that they were closed. I walked back out to my car and saw another woman run up to the door, apparently he signaled to her that they were closing early and she snapped at him and said "I have 5 minutes/it's only going to take 5 minutes". The gentleman than let the woman walk in past him as he opened the door for her. I just want to be clear that because I was nice, and didn't say anything he wouldn't let me in. If I would've called him out on the fact that they were actually closing the store before it was technically closed I could've got let in? What is the point of having store hours if you get to choose when you close and when you open? I could understand if it was a ma and pop shop but isn't Smiths a large grocery chain? Am I mistaken? One would think that when a place of business causes damage, they would take responsibility and rectify the situation, but that was not the case with this smiths store. I have lived in CA, WA, and VA and I have been a loyal Kroger shopper for decades. (Ralph's in CA, Kroger and Dillons in VA, and Smith's here in NV) This smiths store was responsible for damage to my car and despite video proof and evidence showing that an accident was due to store negligence, they refused to take responsibility. I dealt with store managers Brittany, Christina, and Leona and although Leona was a pleasant lady, none of them were of any help. In fact, Brittany lied to the claims investigator and said that the store was doing their job and therefore not responsible for what occurred. (This was according to Nigel W., their Sedgwick claims representative). After three weeks and at least a dozen calls to the store and their representative, in the end, the store refused to take responsibility. It would have cost approximately $400 to fix the damage caused by their negligence but instead, the store/chain has lost a longtime customer (as well as business from many of my family and friends). We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on; I hope it was worth the loss for them. Albertsons, here we come! read more
