As far as the store goes. It's clean and very nice. Just the cashier could give 2 pennies to be there, checking her personal phone, not even looking in my direction when saying hello and completely turned around when handing me my receipt.... I had to reach for it twice because she was talking to one of her co workers. Even the bag boy was more interested in what his friend came to the store to buy and smoke later.... I had to get my bag out of his hands because he wasn't paying attention, he was just reaching out with it and I couldn't get it!... if they don't want to be there and it's too hard or they feel above the job they are doing. I had called the Smith's Floral department, from Colorado to order some flowers for my mother that lives down the street from this store in Las Vegas. Not only did they fill my flower order, but they went WAY over and above to get these flower perfect for my mother's birthday. I absolutely love coming to this Smith's. There are always friendly and familiar faces that work here and not to mention their veggies are always Super Fresh. Whatever you need you can always find it at the store and it is always clean well put together and easy to walk through. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because when you do the self-checkout the machine repeats what you are scanning and the price it is Extremely Loud Beyond annoying and I wish they would just go back to the old self checkout machine read more

This smith's is clean, friendly, helpful and restocks. Fairly easy to get around and produce is good. Prices can very and pay close attention to those "sales". We seen couple of items said sale ...you were saving less than 5 cents (a nickle) despite quantity. Deli is ok..not horrible but i experience better. Bakery is good..hard to mess that up. Lots of fresh selections and baker is attentive and helpful. Seafood....well while clean and fresh...prices are out of the world. Helpful, friendly, fresh and your in and out despite any line. Customers service line: this can improve. Always long line and doesn't move quickly. Frozen section is clean well lit and organized. Checkout: self checkouts are all open. Omg first to see consistently. Scan and go is great as well. Human check outline.....well normally one or two. If there is a problem it can be corrected. At self check out you have to wait until someone can help you. Parking lot and carts are ok. Always carts but parking lot is always full. Not a small parking lot just busy. When butt heads drivers dont help. read more

Not all smiths are alike, it's all about management, I been to various smiths stores around Vegas and some have been filthy or the staff have been rude. This is my neighborhood Smith's and the employees are always ready to help out. I love that that the managers stand and look for the shortest lines for customers. I've been in Vegas 2 years now . I have been going to Smith's in Aliante and Smith's off Losee and Centennial. I have to say, the customer service at both these Smith's is poor. I now shop at Von's where I drive out of the way because it's such a nice experience there rather than Smith's. I will no longer shop at any Smith's stores in Vegas. Today, the cashier and bagger just threw my sushi in the bag and it's spilled all over. The bread I just purchased was all squished by laundry detergent. I got home and just shook my head. It's not rocket science to be a cashier or bagger! Smith's, you guys suck and lack in every arena from customer service to quality. I am not happy with Smith's Food & Drug Store in N Las Vegas right now. The cashier refunded me the wrong amount this morning and did not give me a eeceipt for the refund. She circles the wrong item that I was refunded. I went back and I was told the manager. He couldn't do anything for me because I did not have refund receipt that I was not given. So, I was also told that to come back and talk to the cashier that did it like she is going to remember or admit that she forgot to give me the refund receipt and gave me the incorrect amount. This is the only grocery store that is near my house. I love shopping here, but I am really disappointed in the service I received today!!! read more

This was my go to store, but they remodeled the store now they don't carry certain items. Such as the kikoman soy sauce, now only comes in small jars. This makes me have to go to seafood city. Also the Calrose Botan rice 20lbs bags. I loved shopping there because they carried unusual items. The plant shop, what happened to the house plants and whatever is there is too expensive. The only consistent thing there is the friendly pharmacy staff. read more

I hate rating this store a 1 but I dread coming here because a specific cashier named Maya. She is rude, sarcastic and over all unfriendly. I cannot explain how unpleasant she makes my visits. I went in the other day to buy a simple small cake for my babies first birthday. Michelle at the bakery asked if she could help me. I told her what cake designed I liked and what I needed. So I went to customer service to pay for a gift card and in front of me was a young lady who I found out later was a teacher. Single mom who for the first time was using WIC. The person at customer service "Brandi" treated her with disdain! She looked her up and down, told her you don't look like you need WIC and was very rude. The young lady was already embarrassed about needing public assistance and Brandi made her feel even worse. If this is the type of people that Smiths hire and retain maybe we need to go to another store. In addition Brandi cursed like a sailor, and I now know more about her and her boyfriend who recently broke up with her. I think I know why he broke up with you Brandi. If you see Brandi who has dark hair and pencil eyebrows please please just wait in line it is not worth the frustration to wait for her to screw up your order and be rude to you. I think I'd give this Smith's between 3 and 4 stars. It is pretty busy, no matter what day I go. They have been rearranging things a lot so not everything is where it says it should be, but I know that is a work in progress. All of the employees I have talked to have been friendly. This store changed around all the aisles so you can't find anything. Idk what the reasoning is except to annoy customers. The employees don't know where anything is either. I was looking for toilet paper and sparkling water and spent 30 mins in the store. Never found the sparkling water. Fuck this place! I normally shop at night because my schedule, they have great fruits and vegetables. The only thing I really hate is when they don't have cashiers at night and I have to do it my self with a full cart and the freaking machine won't go if you don't place all your groseríes in the small bar code area. We have gone to every grocery store in the area and the produce here is the best (not spectacular but hey, we live in the desert) and the prices are great (I don't know why the other locations haven't followed suit...the store off Ann is not good at all)! Let me tell you about my recent shopping experience at 2255 E Centennial parkway North Las Vegas NV 89086, I shop for a family of 7 and this is my local store, I spend on advantage $1500 a month here, as of today I will NEVER EVER step foot in this smiths or any other another smiths and I can promise the following review will be posted on Google, fb and any other forum I can warn people from. Today my husband went to load $300 cash on my prepaid smiths card Judi was our cashier, she told us "I'm not sure if I'm doing this correct please check when you get home" so I get home and check my card and sure enough no funds are on the card!!! I go right back and the "manger" Dovey and Judi accused me of trying to steal the money!!!!!! I contacted the store manger Eugene who after being paged 4 times over the loud speaker refused to come out until I called him on my cell phone and told him we are standing where he asked us to stand so he can "check" things out. After another 48 minuets and threatening to call metro.. another "manger" figured out that indeed our card was never loaded.. We never even got an apology for being called names (all of this in front of our children) I can tell you no matter how close this store is I will NEVER shop at smiths and please be warned they will steal your cash!!! read more

Horrible place customer servicce is shit..coinstar machine is always messed up..i put about 8$ of coins in the machine and an error message comes on the machine says ask for assistance, i ask one of the employees for assitance she says ok ill call someone to help on the lil walkie talkie..i say ok i wait 15 20 Min watching the manager Talk and laugh with one of the employees I finally lose my patience i tell another employee about the coinstar machine He gets the manager she finally comes..mind you this is 20 min of me standing around waiting for her slow ass..she comes and opens the machine with a Key she Moves the rest of the coins out of the machine closes it back up then leaves... the same error message comes up i go get her she tells me i guess that was it.. she is unprofessional and unhelpful this is the second time this has happned ask for help and they forget to help u never will i return to this store read more

I really like this Smiths. The staff is always helpful, parking is good, produce is fresh (usually),and I never have an issue with lines.
