    A random search of Used Cars near me brought me to salesman Kyle Manuelian. I had never even heard…read moreof a Lincoln Corsair but it was in my price range so I figured I'd check it out. This was a no pressure purchase. I was looking at new vehicles, but I wanted to check out this used vehicle because it had all the bells and whistles. Kyle let me test drive by myself. I liked it. I sat down with the finance guy. I asked them to change the tires for me and it was a deal. I got my all weather mats, used but better tires than what was on there and the car only had 23K miles on it and it's a 2020. Kyle was patient & not pushy even though at the end I found out he needed my sale for his bonus that month. I've had my car now for 6 months. Very happy with my purchase. And happy to not be leasing anymore. But I'm still getting used to the piano keys for a gearshift. I still find that very odd. 5-28-2025

Bought a used vehicle, over 100k miles so I was worried about any type of warranty. Told me they stand by their product and if anything happens shortly after purchase to bring it back and they'll help out. The next day the car started making a whining noise. I called them, set up and appointment, showed up with the car whining and they said it's "not detrimental" to the car and that I need to wait 30 days for my warranty to kick in. I waited 30 days, made an appointment. It took them 2 days to "diagnose it and send the claim request to the warranty company". When I called the warranty company, they had not had any contact with the dealer and the dealer could not tell me what was wrong with the car. I cancelled the warranty on the spot with one of the GMs. It been a month since then, I called the warranty company and they said the dealer has not spoken to them and the warranty is still active. I now have to go through this whole process by myself as the dealer has been absolutely no help and only the owner can help with warranty cancellations. STAY FAR FAR AWAY

When we decided to change our old Honda Accord EX-L and get the Honda Hybrid Accord EX-L, as always, we contacted Mr. Ramirez, who now is working in association with Mr. Francesco Allevato and, boy, they did not disappoint us. The purchase went smoothly as Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Allevato and business Manager Mr. Phil Ward do not pressure you in any way, explain everything in simple terms, and treat you in a very courteous and professional way. At Advantage Honda in Saint James, we found the car with the color we wanted and at the right price. We know a car dealership is not a charity but rather a business to make money. So, we just wanted a fair price and we got it from Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Allevato. Previously we got in touch with many other Honda dealerships to compare prices but we received outrageous overpriced quotations. But, as noted, only at Advantage Honda we found a reasonable and affordable price and were able to make the purchase. We cannot be happier. If you are in the market for a new Honda, Advantage Honda in Saint James, New York, will not disappoint you, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

    I recently purchased a beautiful 2022 BMW M850i convertible from Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown…read more Despite what I felt was a good deal on the car, the salesman I dealt with withheld information and did not follow through on promises made. The salesman's name is Kenny Montoya. Information withheld: 3 bent wheels. I flew in from Northeastern Wisconsin to buy it. Before traveling, I hired Lemon Squad to inspect the car. The report was generally positive--but the dealership did not allow the inspector to test drive the vehicle, citing inclement weather the region was having at the time. And that in hindsight, was a major red flag. I noticed the problem after getting up to highway speeds about 1 hour after having purchased the car and having left the dealership but it was late Friday and I was in a hurry to begin my 1,000 mile trip back home. Assuming that the problem probably needed only rebalancing of the rear wheels (all the wheels looked pristine on the outside), I continued on home. After getting home and having the problem assessed by my local BMW dealership I learned what the cause was and what three replacement wheels would cost ($4,000) I contacted Kenny who said that both he and his manager, Jeff Davis, would be getting back to me. Despite my follow-up inquiries they never did get back to me so their answer was clear: "Too bad, so sad". There was also an issue early on with the title. I was told repeatedly that it would be in the dealership's name within three days, but that timeline kept getting repeated and the process ultimately took almost three weeks before the sale could be completed. Kenny Montoya is a nice guy to deal with - friendly, polite and seemingly honest but it turns out he was clearly capable of presenting misleading information and withholding information. The bottom line is I was dealing with a car salesman and that says it all. It is now obvious to me in hindsight that I should have gone out early the following week to allow enough time to test drive the car and get any repairs necessary before I finalized the purchase. The next best thing is to write now to remind readers not to be as hasty as I was.
