I took my car to them for the simple replacement of the passenger side mirror on a 2014 Forester. The process was drawn out way longer than originally expressed the repair would take. They didn't take the car right away for no apparent reason then when I do drop it off they order the wrong part or should I say half of the mirror. They blamed Subaru for not detailing the difference but it's obvious they were just covering for their own mistake given the popularity of the vehicle, and the fact that it's their job to know what parts to order. Mind you this also changed the original quote on the cost of the repair. When I call to inquire they say they'll call me back and my call is never returned, just one more example of their inability to communicate with their customers. Had the part been ordered properly when I told them I was ok with their quote and gave them go ahead the car would have been ready in a reasonable time frame for a job that shouldn't take more than an hour or so at best. Please save your time and money because here you all you will get is awful customer service and untimely results, others can do same quality of work without the headache and frustration. read more

My wife and I felt at times we left our Yukon in the Twilight Zone. We've had our fair share of auto body work performed over the years but no other shop has ever been like Smitty's. Extreme attention to customer satisfaction, friendliness, patience, nice facility, exceptional work, fair prices, timely results. Not only that-- they are closed on Saturdays but were willing to meet me to pick up my vehicle as it was tough to get over there on Friday. Jeff, John, and everyone at Smitty's did a truly amazing job bringing our 2017 Mazda back from the dead. In early August our car was hit from behind on the Merritt and on the brink of being "totaled." Though it was a nightmare dealing with Mazda while they mishandled and delayed delivering parts for an entire 3 months, Smitty's was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating ordeal. Even one star is giving these assholes too much credit. My boyfriend's 2001 chevy blazer was impounded with these guys, and when it left him, the driver door shut. We just got it back today and the hitch that closes the door fell off. They basically said not our problem, and sucks to be you. It happened on YOUR property and it didn't leave us in that condition, so obviously one of your guys broke the thing. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. I had to get my car repairs through another individuals insurance due to an accident. They were very helpful getting the ball rolling and then felt directly with the insurance company, and even helped me arrange a rental car. My car looks brand new. The service was wonderful and done very quickly. To top if off, they washed my car too. The men there are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
