The food in general is average but I did enjoy the santa fe skillet. The hash browns were crispy and well seasoned. Even made for good leftovers a few hours later after a long hike on mount wilson.

Service was fast. I couldn't decide so I got the all meat dish. Zero regrets. The server was fast with coffee refills, and checking out at the end. Thank you for the added fork in the takeout container. I needed it

I think the best thing about this place is that they have free wifi. Other than that, the food is sub par. I wasn't feeling hungry that morning we came here, so I only ordered a side of fruit for $4. What I got was the smallest fruit cup ever, and the fruit in it was even kind of going bad and had spots on it. There was only 1 strawberry in there along with some melon pieces, and the 1 strawberry they gave me had mushy spots all over it :-/ On the plus side, they give you a LOT of food. The omelettes are big and all the plates come with LOTS of toast. I ate some of my aunt's toast and it was good, just regular bread with jam.

Ukrainian skillet and kids French toast

Passing through from Edmonton to the USA, rainy morning. Alberta cycling event had all downtown roads closed so stopped at the first place we found parking. It looked like a chain, but needed a good breakfast and the place was packed. Kids were happy, $5.99 kids pancakes or French toast with drinks and Oreos. We shared the Ukrainian skillet which was fried pierogies and a sprinkle of scrambled eggs. Should have ordered then with eggs over easy as they weren't three eggs as described in the menu but we weren't given a choice. Great unlimited coffee and the waitress was a gem!

Not a fancy place but clean, fast service, and friendly staff conveniently located in town, comparable to an American Denny's.

Definitively go there for breakfast. They have a big variety and we enjoyed a lot the egg benedictine and the pancakes.

Great service and family friendly menu. The view hasn't changed in years. Kids had a great lunch and the parents enjoyed a cold beer.

I had taken the train and we stopped in Jasper for a little bit and I was exploring Parking: I know I always talk about parking but it wasn't really paying attention this time. I'm pretty sure there was some street parking. I'm not sure if there's any Lots around I walked from the Train Decor: This place was very nice. Kind of what you would expect to find in a restaurant in a ski town in the Rockies. Lots of dark wood, clean, Cottage chic decor. You can tell this is a nice place There were a lot of four top tables. Somewhere around somewhere Square so you push them together. And a nice big bar with lots of seating. Oh and the Highlight was a giant fireplace against the far wall. Very cozy. Food: I stopped in to grab something I could eat on the train. I decided to go for one of the salads because it just sounded so good. I got the Autumn Ridge Salad -kale, maple butternut squash, quinoa, feta, apple, shallot vinaigrette. I added some lemon garlic shrimp as a protein. This was delicious. And if I'm ever in Jasper again, and I hope to be, definitely getting this As a side note they're also known for their whiskey and there were a few Couples from the train that were there in the restaurant doing whiskey tasting. These are people from other countries that knew that when you stopped in Jasper you had to go here and do their whiskey flights. So go there for that as well! Everyone I spoke to there was very nice. I wish I would have gotten the name of the person that helped me. She was very nice

Seating inside it swank and comfy. Lots of configurations and a stellar window view of the lake is the spot to have. Service is cold but efficient. We had some questions about the menu and she went to get answers but didn't seem too excited to be asked. For dinner it's three tables of varying size so not crazy busy at 6pm mid week. The cheese plate was exceptional. Had a cider and the lavender mocktail was really fresh and delicious. The dinner menu wasn't a huge draw and we had hiked here from downtown. I'd come back on a return trip.

We were lucky to get a table at the window as there are only a few with lake views and they are all 2 seaters. We started with the Caesar salad which is unlike a traditional Caesar and I quite prefer this version as it has more interesting flavors and textures. Plus the chef didn't drown it in dressing. I enjoyed the duck entree and the husband had the steelhead. Both were very tasty and I'd recommend either depending your mood. We finished with the Pavlova and berries dessert which was a perfect ending to a lovely meal along with strong, hot black coffee. It Hit The Spot! Would definitely come back should we find ourselves in Jasper again. Cheers!

Waiter was attentive and checked in multiple times and having a pitcher of water was nice so we didn't have to bother him so much. He did tell us that as we were paying that if we write a Google review you get a free drink (sangria or juice I think he said) on your Next visit. Tried the: Potato Gratin: 9/10, really grainy but could tell they used a lot of real cheese. Potato was perfectly cooked and I loved that there was lots of sauce. Very pretty presentation. Orange chicken: 8.5/10, chicken as super tasty but just too much ginger for me in the sauce. Rice was very very bland. Spiralized diakon/parsnip was a great light vegetable that Looked like raw onion but thankfully wasn't. Loved it. Drink, The Opener: 10/10. Size appears small but by the end of it I was done with it. Wow taste though. Boyfriend said you can taste the rum but I got more banana and minty. 100% would get again. Got pretty strong by the end but really liked the flavor combo And the color.

What I didn't like about the breakfast experience is the cup size for coffee! I think the cups are small compared to the similar businesses. For dinner they have a better menu and the food is pretty good! I have tried their special a couple of times and I enjoyed some of their dishes and appetizers! I didn't enjoy their cocktails since they seemed to be a bit homemade quality, and maybe overpriced? My good example is their old fashion which was the smallest I've even seen! For breakfast we ordered the alpine start (yogurt with homemade musli, brioche with jam) and the waffle plate. We enjoyed both of them; there were a good starting for our morning (breakfast opens at 7:30am). For dinner we tried the chicken, the meatloaf and the ribs. Everything was very good. I can't complain about the taste of the food. My only "complain" is about the small portion of every dish and how slow was the service during the dinner. The first time we ate here we waited almost 1 hour for our meal (I know there was a big group and other tables, but the service was very slow). Overall the restaurant and the place are amazing because of the view of Athabaskan river and the mountains around and they have s'more pit and other event almost every night.
