I went to the Smog Busters in Henderson, NV. They claim to take competitor coupons. When I brought my coupon, they said oh we don't accept those and went on to inform me that if I went to the other company that said company would tear up my car. Please just be aware of their false advertising regarding coupons. I emailed the company and no response was given. read more

Who you gonna call? Well, no one if you just look up the info ahead of time and then show up. Smog Busters is a local chain specializing in emissions tests, aka smog checks. I looked up various places close to me and found the Yelp check-in for a $18 smog check here (also available as a coupon on their web site, so just pull that up on your phone and show them), so I got in my car and eagerly drove here. It seems that you just have to pull up alongside the door of what's pretty much a glorified shed. I ended up waiting for one other customer, which didn't take long. My experience was also quick. The guy just needs to see your total mileage to submit to the DMV, so if you have a fancy console like in my car, you may need to adjust the display for him. By the way, it's $10 if you want the convenience of him finishing your registration, but I went home and did it myself easily. For the low price and quick service, I'll be more than glad to return to this Smog Busters for this annual chore. read more

Like so many smog businesses, it's just a mini stand-like building in the middle of a parking lot; this one happens to be in the shopping center on Boulder Hwy between Major and Basic. This is my 3rd time taking my vehicles here. No issues. The entire process is quick and easy, I used the Yelp check in to save a few dollars, and the gentleman performing the smog test was friendly as usual. I'm writing the review in 2020, during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. With that the gentleman did wear a mask, however, I wish he would have sanitized the car, or used some disinfectant wipes as a precaution when the test was completed. It's a small thing, but I've taken my car other places during the pandemic & other businesses are going that extra step to maintain safety and keeping everything clean. With that, I still recommend Smog Busters. If you are concerned about COVID-19, be prepared and bring your own wipes to sanitized your vehicle after the smog testing is completed. read more

They charge $1 to use Debit credit and did not use the coupon. After 2 calls, the tech pull out $2 from his wallet. Acted like I was steeling from him. Went to this station with a check engine light on and asked "Joe" if I would pass. Knowing that it wouldn't, he says "I don't know what you've got going on". Again I explain it's a EGR valve but the truck is fine. Again he lies. I figure I'll chance it ( stupid on my part). He had no problem taking my $20 when it failed. Don't go here. Fast Friendly i like coming hear they charged 19.99 and had a coupon for 16.00 dollars and he excepted it no problems i know i could have went all the way to the other side of town and get a 7.77/dollar smog but those are for mechanic shops and they take all your car apart and start to check for stuff wrong with your car just to make more money all i want is a smog they use that price to get you in there then they come with a big list of problems that i have never had before i like to just get my smog done and go and that is exactly what this place does and with a smile read more

Went to Smog Busters as they have a big sign declaring they accept all coupons. When I presented my coupon for $7.77 smog test, the guy said we do not accept their coupons, only competitors. I presented another smog coupon for $9.99, he said we don't accept those either, only our coupons; their coupons were for $17.99. Quite a price jump.
