Great experience. I have a Prius, so this was my first required smog check in 7 years. I got here a few minutes past opening time of 8am and I was the first car for the day. Ray had just gotten out the table, chairs, magazines, and umbrella for a comfortable waiting spot, and was sweeping - with a broom! - 5 stars for that, alone. (I'm not a fan of the LA leaf-blowers.) Wow, that was painless. Though all smog stations seem to charge a lot more than I remember, Smog Wiser gave us a $10 break for mentioning Yelp, and the whole experience took 10 minutes or so while we waited at a table outside on which were magazines to leaf through. Being right across from Trader Joe's (and the renewed Gelson's) is a fringe benefit. The most wonderful experience out of a terrible situation when I was making the choice to come here for a smog check.. Lets just say i was literary in tears when i was told due to a recent work on my car the control panel wasn't reading so i basically had to "drive cycle" my car for the test to pass... I lost it and started to cry while he remained calm and classy and advised me to look online as to what can be done and so I did and went back and everything worked out.
