I needed a smog check on my hyrid because it has been two years and the registration was due- last minute went in and got the Prius smogged by an excellent and nice smog technician. No lies... these guys are primo. Just got my smog check this morning with no problems, guarantee I will go to them next year. When you care about customer service, this is it. My only wish is that they could expand to a slightly bigger space to accomodate 2 or 3 cars at once, but since I was second in line, I waited barely 10 minutes. Wow. Talk about a great shop and a great experience. So because I was selling my car I needed to have it smogged. I went to at least 4 different smog shops before finally finding Smog Zone. This place is a diamond in the rough. Every other shop i visited the technicians were rude and the shop was not inviting. Not the case when i arrived at Smog Zone. After speaking with Haik for a few minutes I knew i had found the right place. He was not only professional, but incredibly friendly. After getting the run around at all the other smog places, it was a welcome relief to find an honest and friendly shop. There was no BS, just the facts on how much it would cost, how long it would take, etc etc. So Haik hooked up my car to the machine and about 20 minutes later i was done. In and out. They were friendly and told me I could wait in the waiting room that they have inside which is nice and cool. Told another customer that his car would not pass since his computer had just been reset.... before even testing it....he is super knowledgeable and trustworthy. He could have tested it and collected the money knowing it would fail and the customer would have to come back again. Overall: Quick, efficient and GREAT customer service. I am so happy I found Haik and Smog Zone! I was registering my SUV at the DMV and I didn't have an updated Smog Certificate. I quickly searched my iPhone for local smog centers and this came up. I called this place and he said he could get me right in and it was only $50...they were offering a $10 discount. Another car had arrived before I did but I didn't end up waiting very long and the smog check itself was quick. He also helped me maneuver my car on and off the street because parking is tricky. I couldn't get over helpful the customer service was. I highly recommend! Smog Zone is opening up a new location across the road soon. It looks like there will be more parking and I was a told, a better waiting area. Although as far as smog centers go there is nothing wrong with the current wait area. read more
