Yesterday I brought my car into Smog Zone and Haik had smog my car and it failed the test. I have always given him a good review but this time I will say I was scammed by him. He gave me some guy to contact with a phone number that went to another phone number never received a call back. Called my mechanic took my car into his facility to show him the paperwork. He told me to go to another place this is less than hours later and my car passed without any issues. I was charged on my credit card almost $116. for my car not to pass on your form it said $111. then paid another $130. today for my car and it passed. This is less than 24 hours. I will never used this facility again. He lost me as a customer and he is rude also when I was sitting in my car several months ago while waiting for a mechanic in your center. You lost me as a customer because there is no explanation within less than 24 hours that my car passed the test when you failed it. Maybe you should have your testing machine checked to make sure it is in perfect working condition. read more

You can now smog your car AND get your DMV registration & tags!!! Hell yeah!!! They are now an official registration renewal center! I hate waiting in lines and thinking that is have to go to AAA to get my registration and new tags but Smog Zone hooked it up! Now you can spare the DMV or AAA trip for your tags. This is a huge step for Angelinos cause it's bad enough with all the traffic. At least it's one less line to wait in! read more

Got there at about 8:30 today, no wait. The test took about 15-20 minutes or so. I did check-in hoping to save $15 with the yelp offer but still ended up paying $55. The guy did write the yelp deal on the paper, but did he forget to apply it? I mean $15 isn't much it could've used towards something else, like say my registration... Overall quick service just wish the guy helping was a little more aware. read more

Found this place on Yelp as it was time to get a smog with one of our cars. Last September, I went there and these guys took care of us quick. At the time, my fiancé was still fighting stage four prostate cancer. They were very kind and caring to him too. He got a pic with the owner. Four months later in February 2019, I had to come back and get the same car smogged. Reason being is my fiancé transferred the car to me and I just missed the 90 day mark from the last smog. They remembered my fiancé and my car. Sadly, my fiancé passed this past Friday. The owner remembered him well and we had a brief conversation about cancer. Aside from the cancer chat, these guys serve you quick and efficiently. I will keep using them to smog my car and would recommend anyone to go there. read more

Friendly, Quick, Easy. I went in around 1:30pm on a Thursday so probably not the busiest time but that being said: The guys that run this smog shop were super nice. I walked up and asked how long the wait was and the guy working told me 6-7 minutes. 5 minutes later my car was being tested. 8-10 minutes later my car was done and I was on my way out.
