We had a very disappointing experience here\…read more We purchased shocks for our 2018 Toyota Tundra and called ahead to ask about installation\. We were quoted what we felt was a fair price\. Before the work was done, we specifically discussed the setting we wanted and made it very clear that our goal was for the front and rear of the truck to sit even\. When we picked up the truck, the front end was noticeably higher than the rear\. The owner explained that he had decided to set the shocks at their highest setting because he thought it would better match our previous setup\. Unfortunately, that was not what we asked for, and it did not achieve the result we had specifically requested\. We agreed the shocks needed to be reset to low, or medium at the very highest\. They were ultimately set on low, and the truck now sits the way it did with our previous setup\. What was especially disappointing was that we were charged for the additional labor required to correct a setting we had not requested in the first place\. In our opinion, if a shop chooses to disregard a customer's specific instructions and the work then has to be redone, the customer should not be charged for correcting that decision\. We expected fair treatment from a local business in our little town, and unfortunately we did not feel we received it\. We will not be taking our vehicles there in the future\.

The owner specifically told me to replace the battery, drive the car about 100 miles, and come back for a free retest along with the smog paperwork. I followed his instructions exactly, replaced the battery, drove the required distance, and returned on June 10. Before he started the retest, I showed him the paperwork from my previous visit. He barely looked at it and tossed it onto the center console. After completing the smog check, he charged me $60. When I reminded him that he had promised a free retest, he immediately denied ever saying it. He responded with, "Who said free retest?" and then claimed, "I never said that, and I would never tell anyone that." When I respectfully questioned the charge and asked for my money back, he became argumentative and started using profanity toward me. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I came back only because I trusted what I was told during my first visit. Instead, I was charged again and treated with disrespect. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business to anyone. I wish I could give this zero stars

When I had a front headlight out, I came in with the special lights I needed and they jumped me to the front of the line so that I'd be safe driving to a work event that night. They care about customer's safety and that of our kids. They always do a full look over when I come in, even if I'm just getting an oil change so I know if my brakes or anything need a refresh. Costs are always super reasonable. They help me plan ahead for repairs. They're always warm and friendly. Sometimes they are a bit jammed with customers, so I have had times when I had to leave the car and wait a few days for a big repair, but what do you expect when you find a great, local mechanic with reasonable costs, who does great work and is kind and warm to boot?
