I came here with a bunch of friends over the weekend. We meant to go to the one on Milwaukee but stumbled upon this one first. Although the worker gave us a discount on the hookah and bundled some things, she never took her ear off her phone. Literally. This overpriced place and the costumer service I received from the rude woman behind the counter (she literally snapped at me) deserve less than one star. Seriously, these people are ripping you off. I like this place because the people are friendly and will sit there and explain anything to you that you need. However, on the other hand, it is grossly overpriced. I go there for my "spice" needs and it is price way too high. Where I used to buy it (outside the city), you could get 3 grams for $25 and it was good stuff with maybe 25 different flavors to choose from. Their prices on spice, herbal incense, k2... whatever you wanna call it, goes anywhere from $10 to $150. For 1g, the average price is $20 though. I'm not used to the much higher city prices so $20 per gram is very high. Out of the city, you can get 1.5g for $15 or 3g for $25 with a much better quality and taste in the long run. I like this place, but if I can find a place that sells my spice for a more reasonable price with decent potency, I would go there in a heartbeat. read more

Best Smokeshop in Wicker hands down. Whether I'm coming in for a pack of Cigs or to buy a whole new set up, the owner always sucks me in for an inviting conversation. I love it, not to many places are as welcoming as this shop, a Smokeshop at that. Wide variety in glass, hookahs, & vapes. The girls Are just as inviting as the owner, so much so I wonder if they go through a customer service program LOL. Bottom line best shop to go to if you want excellent customer service and great products for your every day needs! read more

Horrible service. Constantly leaving the store with a "back in five or less" sign. Never back in five minutes. Just wasted my whole break waiting for them. Never coming again, this is not the first time i have had to wait 20+ minutes and still not be able to get into the shop that is "open". Don't shop here. read more

Picked one out quickly and girl behind the counter was nice enough to drop $5 off the price for no reason (I didn't even ask). BEST SMOKE SHOP IN CHICAGO!! The staff is super kind and genuine - they know when to step in and ask you if you need help and when to back off and let you do your thing. I'll never go anywhere else again. They are constantly offering discounts and deals just because. The staff is very friendly and again, attentive when you want/need them to be. Also very knowledgable about the products and beyond, so helpful! GO TO SMOKE SHOP PIPES AND STUFF IN WICKER PARK!!! TRUST ME. I went to "Secrets" (Lakeview) only based on yelp reviews / but WOW what a mistake.. The people who work here are rude and act annoyed when someone has a question and basically roll their eyes when a customer walks in. They aren't helpful at all, they make you wait and wait while they finish personal phone calls or conversations about 'last night' with other employees. Besides the awful bedside manner of these people, the prices are way too expensive given the cheap quality of their products. I bought 2 identical glass one-hitter pipes from there: the first one I took out of the bag when I got home and let it roll onto the counter: it shattered. I brought it back the next day and asked if they could replace it (it was $45!!) they said nope can't take it back it's broken I was like 'I was literally just here 12 hours ago, you sold this to me, I know you remember - it's not like I've had this for years' still they made me buy a new one. I did, and within a week same thing - completely shattered for no reason. I also bought a small grinder during this 2nd trip that they told me was 'the best of the best' - it's this small silver one and it was $50; whereas the same silver one next to it by a different brand was $35. I asked about the difference and they gave me some line about how it's higher quality blah blah - THAT is the purchase I regret the most. The thing is a piece of (sh*t). It grinds things to a powder basically so it all falls right through the pipe when you're trying to load it, not to mention it dries everything out horribly. My previous pipe before I went to this store I had for over 5 years - it had been dropped and this and that and never broke once. So for the third one I went to Smoke Shop Pipes and Stuff X in Wicker Park -- the same pipe there was $25 -- $20 less than what Secrets charges for the exact. same. thing. And the grinder? I got a larger size one, it was $30, and it is amazing. read more
