I flipped the slab over to cut it as it was just one massive connected slab of meat still. I really liked the sauces but honestly the meat didn't require any sauce as it was so tender and flavorful all on its own. The Mac and cheese was good too. The ones you could chew were great. It's 2026 and I went to try the barbecue again at the Juneteenth celebration in Bolingbrook. I ordered a half slab. Needless to say it took forever for them to get me my order and on top of that when I got it, the ribs were not chewable. To add insult to injury, I did not have any tools to separate the rib bones. They should've been cut at least halfway through to separate the ribs with your hands. Plastic utensils given were meant for soft foods not tough ribs. There was supposed to be sauce on them, but I didn't see any. This is my third visit to uncle Booker's barbecue and no more ever again. You just may get some inedible ribs that you cannot chew and I do have good teeth and some will say it's not chewable at all. Needless to say I did what I could with them, but most of it is going in the garbage. You have been warned. This cost me $22.43. And oh.... I don't eat pork, so finding beef ribs was awesome! Our order taker was nice and explained the menu and answered any questions that we had. I ordered the half-slab of the beef ribs dinner. It was delicious! Cole slaw and baked beans are excellent! Will be back and definitely recommend!
