Honestly, I don't know why this place doesn't get better reviews. I had them work on my Kawasaki Ninja 300, they were quick, efficient and it's never run better. Careful with these guys, for some reason even though I paid in full for my bike I still don't have my title. For some reason Synchrony Bank is a lienholder. BRENT N. I had a good experience buying my new side by side. I explained that when I picked it up I would like to have someone go over the machine with me, since I have never owned one and was told "absolutely". About two weeks later it was ready for pick-up and was told it was located in the back. I reminded Jeff that I needed someone to go over the additional items I had them install (snowplow, light bar...). A mechanic came out and showed me the control for the snowplow and was done and off they went back inside (it was raining at the time). I have never loaded a side by side on a trailer and wasn't asked if I needed any help. I spent close to an hour having issues during the load up. I ended up buying new ramps from the parts department and the young lady there was the only employee who asked if I needed help with the ramps. I went back inside after finally getting the side by side loaded up and had a talk with Jeff about how upset I was with the failure to assist with at least assisting with extra eyes as I loaded the machine. Talked with the manager on the way home ( I believe his name is Pat) and voiced my concern and he told me he totally understood and agreed that it should be a standard question as to asking a customer if they need any assist with the load up process. I was thinking Jeff or Pat would have called back a week or two later just to check in and see if I had any questions or concerns....but never heard anything from them. Very POOR customer service! They made the sale and then they were done. Very disappointing!!! read more

Cycle Barn has been going downhill they tried to expand and left Lynnwood. Now they are just a shell of themselves that don't want to help the average guy I've been a customer since the mid 90s purchased plenty of parts use the service department etc. when I go in these days I don't feel welcome. The cycle barn in smokey point has THE best service department. I am so lucky to have them as my local Honda dealer. I don't know the sales dept, but the parts and service departments are the greatest. I just had my 2014 Valkyrie 48kmi service. All fluids flushed/replaced, new sparkplugs, filters and brake pads installed and valve clearances checked. I can't remember my bike running so well! They have great techs. Angela is the service rep and she always keeps the customer informed during the service. Finally, the manager John, wants the customers bikes to be treated as if he owned them. So I went in to buy some tires for my motorcycle and was already astonished at the pricing being about $300 per tire for a dirtbike and then was hit with taxes tube charges the labor that they wanted to remove the wheels and install the tires with that I had just bought from them And it comes out to almost $1000. I can't believe these places won't just give you a decent price on installing your tires. Never coming here again my bike was four times what they wanted for the tires pretty ridiculous. read more

I went in late 2018 to take a look at their KTM Super Duke 1290 R. It took awhile to find a sales guy on Saturday, but no biggie. They found the bike in the back cage area and got it out for me to look at. I asked for a test ride, but no dice. Given that they had three of these things and they are last years model I was somewhat surprised. Bremerton Powersports, Lynnwood Motoplex and I90 Motorsports were all trying to offload their same bikes at this time. I was also pretty serious about buying it that morning with cash lined up. I'm also the owner of a 2018 R1200GSA, 2016 S1000RR and 2017 Xdiavel S all new when purchased. Okay whatever no test ride of your special snowflake bike so we go talk numbers. They can't even match the other dealerships in state or out of state (out of state I offered the additional shipping fee I would have to pay). I just left after that. What's the point of coming here? Bad service and bad price. For contrast at other dealerships like Ducati of Redmond they ask me to test ride their bikes. read more

Wow I just saw all the negative reviews. My experience was not terrible but not great. I spend 12k+ on a new KTM, and they didn't toss anything in not even a pair of gloves. I actually had to go to Lynnwood motoplex (who I do not like) to get them to give me the ktm 1k rebate.... Parts manager I can't remember is name is super awesome friendly and knowledgeable. Props to him this is why I still go there. They are ok to run in and grab oil and a filter or basic part needs skid plates etc. I like supporting local bike shops vs online but I would agree overall experience isn't great. I had my bike towed to their location. At check-in, I was told the minimum diagnostic charge is 1.5 hours. Red flag. I stayed with them. I like torture the local guy a chance. Their labor per hour is not outrageous at $109/hr. Why I won't be back is this additional half hour added to a minimum service charge. As a new customer, it is wholly unimpressive. Give me a reason to choose Cycle barn again. They didn't. Jon told me he would change me only $98 for diagnostic labor if I had Cycle Barn replace the part they discovered was faulty. I am glad they were able to diagnose this. As of now, I don't know if their work is accurate. This review is in protest of the unnecessary labor charged me for the diagnosis. Not horrible people or crappy demeanor, not crappy selection, or unclean, just overpriced and they could seemingly care less about charging their clients an honest labor time. Not impressive . They Only replaced one of the two front wheel bearings but charged me for both, thanks for put my life in danger guys. The GM was helpful but not taking ownership of his parts manager Parker bullshit comments and rude behavior. I have used them for years in both locations after this I'm done never again. I purchased a CFMoto Uforce 1000, and had a wonderful experience at the Marysville Cycle Barn. The sales area was friendly and inviting. My sales person was Corey Floyd, and he was courteous and professional, responded quickly to all of my texts and emails. Answered all of my questions and had everything ready when I went to pick the Uforce up. While I was there I test drove the Uforce and unknowingly lost one of my earrings in the snow. This place is a PIA and not to be trusted... They were not the closest dealer to me, but I made the drive because they had listed the most stock of new KTMs online including the three I was interested in. When I got there, two of the three bikes were not on the floor. I asked and was told they were not put together. I asked to test ride the one that was on the floor and was told it would take 45 mins to get ready. They were not even busy, maybe 5 customers in the whole store. Way more staff than customers at the time. I had driven all that way so wait I did. I got the test ride, loved it, it was on the top of my list coming in (790 adventure), so I said lets do this. They had 1.9% APR financing for select new KTM advertised everywhere. When signing the paperwork I saw 7.something interest and had to ask. She was like oops, my bad and switched it... For SOME reason I decided to take it there for the 600 mile break in service. Guess I just though since I bought it from them, they would give me good service. Should have thought twice. I was aware of a clutch lubrication issue on the 790 so asked if that was part of the service. The counter lady said yes it was. I asked to talk to the mechanic and was told he is too busy. When they were done, I asked to see the checklist of work done and "check and clean clutch oil nozzle" was checked off. I had to demand to speak to the mechanic to get thru this time. He said, oh that's a four hour job, you'll have to bring it back. Then the counter lady said oops, I printed the wrong sheet... ??? So they both screwed up? She printed the wrong sheet and he checked off work he didn't do? Yea right, they were counting on me not asking any questions. Did I mention this place is a PIA and not to be trusted? read more

Shouldn't judge people by their looks. They just assumed because I'm a 60 year old female I wasn't there to by something fun for myself. Came in Friday morning just after they opened, cash in hand ready to purchase a 15K to 25K Side by Side. I looked at all the Side by Sides even sat in a couple of them waiting for one of the many sales person just hanging out to come assist me. I wanted to test drive a couple of them and take one home today. I even had a friend ready with a flat bed to transport it. Everyone of those sales guys all saw me I looked at each one of them standing around visiting with each other, but not one approached me. After 20 minutes I left. Next morning I decided to give them another try with my nephew. I pretty much knew the side by side I wanted as it was advertised in stock on their website. Once again no help. After looking at all of them again, and not seeing the ones in stock I wanted my nephew had to go ask for help. The sales guy was not at all interested in giving us much info and the ones that were advertised that I wanted to purchase were not available to test drive or even look at. They were still in the shipping crates out back. He didn't know when they'll be available for sale either. Ok, I'm done Cycle Barn! you obviously don't care about a sale. Plenty of other places for this 60 year old female to spend her fun money. read more

Mixed review. Darin and Autumn were awesome. They were very friendly and sincerely wanted to help me. Sales rep and back office not so much. Purchased a SxS (paid in full by check) and was told it would take 2 weeks or less to get parts for them to make it street legal. Very close to two weeks I emailed sales and asked for status. Was told parts still not there. Asked which parts but he never answered. The next day I was driving through the area and stopped in. asked parts department about the needed items. They told me the mirrors were backordered and not expected in for about 3 months! Sales rep said he did not know this and just walked away saying he would look into it. Autumn went over to their retail area and found mirrors that would work and were $80 less. They were now able to get the SxS delivered on time no thanks to sales rep who by the way never offered a road test or to show me how the darn thing works. The delivery driver Troy was more helpful! They were supposed to refund me the $80 price difference but I only got $24 because they decided to charge me more for another part that was installed. Who does that? We had an agreed to price. Anyway, So I have my vehicle but no temporary plates. They tell me that they are in the mail. I stop by again to pick up a replacement windshield since the one on my new SxS had a small defect. Darin was on top of getting a new one ordered. Of course I will have to install it myself. Darin gives me the windshield and tells me he tried to get a new temp plate but the office is unable to request a new one until 14 days after first one was mailed. As I was leaving I realized I did get the registration so shouldn't the temp plate be with the registration? I went to the office where they contacted DOL office. Turns out the day they licensed the vehicle, the DOL office ran out of the special paper that the temp plates are printed on, so it was never mailed. Lady in the office did apologize. Why the hell didn't they communicate this with me? Why didnt the sales rep follow up on both the mirrors and the temp plate? I worked in a sales organization for 40 years. The good sales reps were the ones that took care of their customers from beginning to final delivery and customer satisfaction. The bad ones just take the easiest route and wait for their commission check. If you read this far I apologize for the long winded rant. read more

The prices are 20-50% higher than online retail for the same exact parts, and when you speak to the manager about a dispute you have about a purchase he mocks you and shows zero respect for the customers who have supported them for more than 15 years. Went in to buy a new Polaris side by side. Just a gloomy depressing atmosphere. Demanded to run my credit before they'd discuss the purchase, and still couldn't show me the unit or disclose the final price. Lady in the finance office was as rude as they come. Got tired of waiting around, and went up to Skagit Polaris. Friendly cheerful staff at Skagit Polaris and they weren't afraid to tell me the final price up front. Horrible horrible experience! Spoke with Cody the salesman about a Pioneer 1000-5 and asked him to put a deposit on it. Prior to putting a deposit, I wanted to ask a couple of questions (justified for a $20k+ purchase) regarding price and total fees. He proceeded in telling me that he would have to talk to his sales manager and would call me back in 5 minutes. After waiting almost 2 hours, I called him back and he said his sales manager was "out of the office" but that someone else had called in and put a deposit instead. WHAT? Dude give me a chance! You didnt even call me back?! Very unprofessional and could care less about their word to customers. Would NOT buy from here! read more

I've bought 3 bikes between the two Cycle Barn locations. Nice staff (Smokey Point location has the edge here). Sales people are hit and miss as far as being pushy, knowledgable, etc. Shop the sales folk for the one that fits you! They have good selection both new and used bikes. Parts department has been helpful and accurate in getting the right parts. Prices are ok. After market selection is limited to rather common parts. Overall, I feel prices are ok, but a bit high. Sales can be bothersome a bit when just looking. But, I've been to way worse and have been happy with customer service and my purchases overall. read more

It is not a bad shop. They tend to be pretty picked over for their clothing and accessories, which caused me to go elsewhere. That's and you can walk the whole store without anyone talking to you. I went back and it was the same way the second time as well. I imagine it's great for some, but not me. read more
