Brisket sandwich with a side of jalapeno Mac and cheese
    Anna G.

Lots of seating both inside and outside, fantastic bbq, and fast if a bit cranky service. Definitely the best dinner option in the area! The brisket sandwich was delicious as was the jalapeno Mac and cheese. So good!!

Ribs and Mac and cheese aren't good.Ribs were salty. The brisket and baked beans were very good.

Not much of getting in remote and tiny Beatty so this was it for us. The baked beans were different and very good. Brisket is good. I didn't like the ribs as it's too salty. And the Mac and cheese were below average. The place had a steady crowd on a Saturday night though.

Special burger for the day - combo brisket, rib, pulled pork.

We had the salad with brisket as well as the Special burger for the day - combo brisket, rib, pulled pork which came with some pickles. The brisket was perfect - tender and succulent. Fast and friendly service. Super clean toilets. And ample parking.

Delish!!!! Stopped in for take away as we were camping in Beatty, NV. What a great find! The pulled pork was so flavorful, the jalapeño mac n Cheese had just the right amount of kick and the beans were smoky and had bits of meat. The coleslaw was creamy with piece of pineapple. A true delight. The restaurant is clean and open. Outdoor seating available-we were trying to get back to the RV park before rain hit so we took it to go. The order counter had a sign that said wait times may be a bit long due to staffing issues-but we felt like it was standard time and the staff was lovely

The best mac n cheese I've ever had!! We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night during a fun weekend trip to Death Valley. We arrived 35 minutes before closing time, and because the service was so fast, we were able to make it out on time! We ordered the brisket bomb sandwich, the pulled pork sandwich, jalapeno cheddar sausages, and their homemade banana pudding for dessert. The banana pudding tasted exactly like banana cream pie! In general, the portions were generous. Only wish the ribs were a little bit cheaper, or we would have tried them too. Staff was all super friendly. Restrooms were clean. Interior of the restaurant was very country-esque, no frills and casual.

There aren't many dining options in Beatty, but this spot is by far one of the best. My boyfriend and I were in town for four days, and we loved the food here so much that we came back for dinner twice. Both times, we ordered a pound of brisket to share, along with baked beans and mac and cheese. The brisket was perfectly smoked and incredibly tender, practically melting in our mouths. The baked beans were full of flavor--though, fair warning, they did leave us feeling a little gassy. And the mac and cheese? So rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The woman at the counter was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations and was a pleasure to chat with, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere inside is warm and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day in Death Valley. If you find yourself in the area, I'd highly recommend stopping by for a meal--you won't be disappointed.

Likes: + Enthusiastic, friendly, helpful staff. + Soda machine on the side. + Good amount of indoor seating. + Plenty of restrooms. + Well priced. + Clean, pleasant interior decor. . They open until 8pm. Finish your hike in time! Non-likes: - The tall paper towel dispenser placed at the center of each table blocks your view of your friend sitting across from you. The dispenser should be shorter. - No fruits. - They were out of fries. I had: $9.99 Salad + $2.25 Small drink + tax = $13.17

    Yum yum!

I drive 60 miles to have delicious BBQ. My favorites are the ribs and pulled pork. Side dishes are unique; creamy cole slaw with pineapple, spicy jalapeño mac and cheese, and flavorful BBQ beans.

Good food but they kinda rush you to finish and leave. A bit pricey. Ribs world be my recommendation.

Great food. Don't drive by. Stop and have lunch or dinner. Can't say enough about their barbecue. The meat melts in your mouth.

Driving by, my brother and I thought, wow, that place doesn't even look open and it doesn't look like it would be very good so we went to the Candy and Nut place that we were there for, we shopped and on the way out, we asked people that worked there and they all said it doesn't look like much but is really great inside. So back we went and Yeah, it had quirks. The waitress was super friendly, I am sorry I didn't get her name.. It was small with about 10 tables. The one we sat at was super wobbly and the floor was stained and I thought, well, this is going to be interesting. I liked the deco--old photos of old stars, cars, old coke glasses, very unique and looked it up while we waited for our drinks, its been there for 60 years.... I got a soda and my brother a coffee. He said it was good. I got eggs and hashbrowns and he got the same + bacon. Served on a paper plate (I laugh because we don't use plates at home) but it was good. we saw burros walking by. The bathroom was private (Outside on the side of the building, like a gas station might have) and it was clean... it locked. I did hear a burro walk by hooting, that was, well, a hoot. All in all, the menu looked good--Though I am glad I eat eggs because if I didn't, there would not be much for Vegans... But I would still go back on my next visit to the area.

Walking inside the gas station it's sectioned off to the left. They do seem to have a fly issue on the gas station as some had said. Hopefully that Is something they will rectify. However, its hard to find good Indian food these days. Especially in such a remote area such as this, and I found the food here was actually really delightful. Sometimes you have to go to a hole in the wall, that lacks the sparkle and refinement visually to get the flavor you have been searching for. The cashier was polite as he took our order. We got the butter chicken, mango lassi, and a potato stuffed paratha bread. It was perfect to share between two people. The meat was tender and flavorful, and I loved that there were nuts in the sauce and the spices were more complex. I find a lot of Indian places dont add those touches in the states. Rice was fluffy and fragrant, the bread was so delicious! Warm and layered with that soft potatoes filling. It was great to dip into the butter chicken sauce. They also had a side of yogurt and a chutney. The chutney was not my favorite thing in the world, it tasted perfumey. We got the food mild incase our child wanted any, but they do offer spice levels. The mango lassi was divine! Bursting with flavor and not to thick. If flies were not attacking me this would have been 5 stars. I didn't experience not feeling welcome in any way because I am not the same ethnicity as the workers like some had mentioned. I just thought that was important to mention. If you want yummy food and a place to stretch your legs its a great alternative to the less than stellar cuisune you often find on this route to tahoe in the smaller towns.

We made a special note to stop here on the way back home. So here we are.! 1 PM Friday afternoon, and the place is completely empty. Creech Air Force Base is across the way. Probably gets busy here during shift change. This big boy is hooked to Terrible's Casino. You have to walk into the casino to get to the restaurant. We were greeted nicely as we walked in. Asked for a booth, even though the restaurant was empty. Nice enough servers and hostess. But as others stated: the service is slow. 3 servers, only 2 other tables and the workers were very busy talking to each other. We sat for nearly 10 minutes before they decided who would wait on us. What we ordered: Super big boy (basically double meat 4 patties to split with wife) Hot fudge cake (also to share) The burger arrived pretty quickly. And for the extra $1.50 charge for double meat well worth it. Hard to say, but almost too much meat? Even splitting it. The fries are floured. Not my favorite. The hot fudge cake was HUGE. Basically two pieces of cake with ice cream between them. Great fudge sauce also. It's not the same as the Bob's big boy growing up, but it will do. My favorite dessert is chocolate cake with ice cream and hot fudge. I'm pretty sure Bob's big boy started this obsession for me. Until my mid 20s, I always stopped for a burger combo and a dessert. It is pricey but there's no other option out here. I would but definitely stop back here for the dessert. Especially since that huge monstrosity was only seven dollars lol. Many don't know that BBB was the ' double-decker' burger. Long before the big Mac lol. They used to have a combination burger that served fries and a salad. Now you have to pay extra for salad ($4)
