After moving to the area near Smoky Hill Dental I decided to try them out. The dentist that treated the person who commented previously no longer owns the practice or works there. Dr. Norrie is kind and also very willing to help his patients with what ever their dental needs are by offering options rather than throwing expensive and less or un-needed services to his clients like some dentists do. The hygenist staff is super friendly, kind, and respectful. I cannot say enough about how careful they are to ensure that their patients are not in pain during their cleanings and that dental hygiene instructions are given as needed without insulting the patient if they "struggle to brush properly or floss correctly". Lastly the front office staff and management. They are wonderful! They are friendly and remember not only my name but my life details like my wife and children's names and personal details about my own life that would not be "written in a file" but remembered due to genuine interest not just to do it to impress and retain clients. This is really a great group of people. Another local dentist had caused me such pain when seating a crown that I hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years. (Yes... a bad thing... but the anxiety produced by the thought of going in was really quite high.) I was not comfortable when I went in for my cleaning and exam. The hygienist (Susan) gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had. Is there work to be done? Yes. But the competency, professionalism and friendliness of the staff put me at ease. Earlier today I was in for two crowns that need to be replaced. Nitrous oxide helped me relax for the work that needed to be done. And there was no pain! The front office made recommendations as to how I could schedule my future work to minimize my out-of-pocket costs. My husband has been going to them for some time now and recommending them. I hate to have to agree with him but (this time) he's right. They're great! read more

Wonderful staff and dentist. I have been with the dentist office for 10 years since I moved back to Denver. Dr. Norrie has taken care of my teeth ever since. I had another dentist first look at my teeth and it was not pleasant. Dr. Norrie fixed the bad dental job that was done. Both my husband and I have had to have extensive work and now we are on the wonderful side of 6 month cleanings only. The office worked with us to identify what to fix and when to work best with our insurance. They always work around my job schedule and I love seeing the same dental hygienist each time. Plus I have a fear of needles (31 and still have the fear!) and Dr. Norrie is very patient. I can't say enough about this place: current technology, text and email reminders along with paper postcards if you need them, instant xray pics on computers, knowledgeable staff about insurance policies.... It is hard for me to believe that anyone could possibly give Smoky Hill Dental a bad review. It makes me wonder if they even came at all honestly. I have been coming to Smoky Hill for 15 years and not once have I had a compliant or issue. They are very frindly, professional, and always send post card reminders and telephone calls before appoitments. My whole family goes to Smoky, my aunt from out of town refuses to go anywhere else and waits till she visits us from TN to go to the Dentists. My grandmother, who has server Huntingtons Disease, only trusts them to clean her teeth. My sister, who is Six (yes, a big age gap) is always very excited to go see Mrs. Karen and tells all her friends that she is going to the dentist! I even gloat to my friends when my appoitment nears, and they all complain that they hate going to the dentist. I can not stress enough how amazing the staff and Doctors are here! read more

The entire staff is always courteous and honest and never trying to scam- in fact they are real people- they might have a busy day, or close for an ice storm? People, on the other 360 days they have great hours and are keeping up to date with technology, They are fun, and firm when they need to be, "don't forget to floss!" This is the best dental practice I have ever been too. Dr Norrie takes his time, explains exactly what he going to do to your teeth. He had a very gentle touch and as a result there is no pain not even when you get the needle. The dental Hygenist Karen is amazing, she keeps you laughing while doing an amazing job cleaning your teeth. Booking appointment is very accommodating as they are open later and longer then most dental practices and they text you reminders of your upcoming appointments which is awesome. I've been a patient of Dr Norrie since about 2001 and I've found him to be gentle, honest, patient, knowledgeable and thorough. He is really good at doing things in as painless a way as possible and I respect and appreciate that . We have a plan for my teeth and it's care and we follow through. They've been flexible with my every changing insurance and monetary situations and I can't thank them enough. I've also used Karen as my hygienist for most of this time and I wouldn't see anyone else. I have been treated at Smoky Hill Dental for a few yrs & every visit they treat me professionally. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. Dr Koperly, though new, is excellent. He explained everything about my dental care & the options available. The dental hygienist, Christie, did a superb job of cleaning my teeth.
