I have been going to Truth + Beauty for the past 3 months for laser hair removal and facials and am blown away. They take sanitation and Covid very seriously (the aesthetician wears a mask and face shield during the service). The experience rivals NYC spas because it is so relaxing and professional, my skin was glowing, AND the prices are insanely good. I am so thankful I found this gem of a spa - I look forward to my appointments with Francesca every month. I wanted so much to love this place. It's close. It's clean. They offer pretty good services and products. But in theory, it's nice. In practice, it's awful. Run away fast! I've been there a few times and each time has been blah. A complete disappointment! For starters... they ALWAYS have an excuse as to why you can never get through. I called yesterday 4 times; all at different times and they did NOT answer the phone. Today the aesthetician told me "they were busy"! Wow. Too busy to answer phones and book clients? So i called first thing this morning to book a facial. I requested the hydra facial and asked what add on's they have. She told me to talk to the aesthetician when i arrived to decide. So.... when i arrived and asked for an add on, i was told since i didn't preschedule it, they had NO time for added services. I inquired about IPL and other services only to be given yes /no answers. Well, that gives me pause! Why would i want to do rejuvenation or IPL when i need to check their pulse to see if they're still with me. On the surface this place looks great. Once inside, the customer service is LACKING! The welcome and knowledge offered is non existent. They make you feel like they just want you OUT so they can resume standing around each other and chatting. I truly don't know how they stay in business! The prices are okay. But if they offered me free services for a year I'd still turn it down. I smiled and gave a 20% TIP knowing I'd never be back again. Wow. What a complete and utter disappointment. read more

I went into Truth + Beauty Spa for a facial and the staff was super accommodating and assisted me in deciding which facial was best for my needs. I had a HydraFacial and was blown away with the results. Typically after a facial my skin feels as if it just underwent a harsh treatment but after the HydraFacial my skin felt AMAZING. Normally, i don't go out of my way to write a negative review- but i felt the need to warn other potential clients. I contacted the spa and inquired about botox services. I was referred to the nurse by whoever answered the phone. She contacted me and we set up an appointment. The day before my scheduled appointment, she sent me a text message asking me to go to her home to do my botox instead of going to truth and beauty where my appointment was scheduled. After telling her i didnt feel comfortable doing that, she kept giving me the run around saying she squeezed me into her schedule and didnt know that she could be at the spa on time. I replied for her to send me back my deposit that i paid in advance and i would reschedule with her another time that worked for her. She then said to forget it and meet her at the spa for my appointment. This was my first botox experience. When i arrived she told me my crows feet area would be $360 and my forehead would be $408 at i think $12 a unit. Not knowing any better, i paid her $360 in total for my crows feet and decided not to do my forehead. She also asked me to pay prior to injected. Today i saw a plastic surgeon, who also does botox in his office for $15 a unit. I will be paying $400 for crows feet/forehead botox only needing 40 units for my entire face. I showed him pictures of my crows feet area before i had been injected at truth and beauty and he said i only required a total of 20 units, so i either only got that amount and overpaid or she just pumped too much botox into my face for profit. I am very sorry to have a write a negative review about Truth & Beauty - it's a beautiful spa - but I was extremely disappointed with the treatments I received there as well as the spa's overall customer service experience. The manager seems to have little regard for her patrons It was my first time visiting the spa and I was badly burned during a routine waxing. I called and left a message asking the manager to call me back. No response. Two days later I stopped in to follow up and I was assured that someone would be returning my call. No response. All I wanted was an apology but the manager did not have the time of day to return my call. For Long Island girls who are used to the best, I advise you not to go here because you will not get it. read more

Be warned - when purchasing products, you're unable to return for a full refund. They only do a store credit or a gift card. That is not explained when you're making a purchase and there is no sign explaining that policy. I was told the policy is "on the receipt," but that isn't very helpful, as you receive a receipt AFTER you make a purchase. I first learned of Truth + Beauty from an article I read featured by Bethenny Frankel during her skin analysis. It was amazing to see and truly convinced me to get ahead of the game with my skin care. I visited the spa on a recent trip to the city from Texas to visit my best friend and it was certainly worth the wait to get there. I was lucky enough to find this place when I visited NY last week. Everyone was very nice and the facility is beautiful! They offer a lot of great treatments including Ultherapy and Botox. They also have good skin care line of their own that I recommend as well. They are reasonably priced for the skin care line as well as the injectables. They also offer financing, which I thought was really cool. Places in CA should do the same. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. I went today for my first time ever, a friend recommended I get a hydra facial. I was a little wary because of the price, but let me tell you- so 100 percent worth my time and money. My face literally looks like I got Botox, and this is only 10 hours later. I'd been hearing about the hydra facial for months and it's definitely everything it claims to be. My skin has been a mess since lockdown and I was getting breakouts because of mask wearing, after today My skin looks so much better. Whatever that machine does is magic I swear, it extracted an entire year off my face. Michelle was my technician today and she was very professional, knew what she was doing, clean and efficient. My appointment was on time and the process was easy, they are definitely Covid safe and the place is clean to the max. She didn't push anything on me as far as products or more services, but she did recommend the monthly package which I bought because it's worth it financially- you are getting more for less each month. I also bought a new cleanser and it wasn't expensive at all. I will be back next month for another hydra facial and some laser hair removal as well, and I'm very much looking forward to it. Let me just start with the jewelry and accessories - First of all, the jewelry and makeup items/accessories they sell are so stylish and unique and beyond stunning.
