This is supposed to be a mango kale smoothie. It's green juice, not a smoothie and it's missing key ingredients (i.e. bananas). It's also not a full 32oz. The young lady tried to give me 20oz in a 32 oz cup until I said something. These smoothies are too expensive for this. This is the worst experience I've had at this location and I go there weekly. No customer service skills whatsoever. I stood at the register for about 3 minutes while the guy had headphones on washing blenders. Didn't say anything like "I'll be with you in a moment" Meanwhile another customer complained she asked for a 32 ounce and received a 20 ounce instead. This is my least favorite location. It is located at the Bowie Town center in the middle of Tmobile and Jimmy John's. The price of their smoothies are bit expensive for their sizes and the smoothies taste like something I can make at home with a quality blender. There is no anticipation when I step inside into to make an order. The concept is less than modern or futuristic--I always saw people take their orders and leave. I am highly concerned about how servers handle their ingredients and make their smoothies. I haven't seen any of them with gloves or hair nets. Some of them are sweating and placing their hands on top of the plastic cover that meant to cover your smoothie. I would not be returning to this location, yet alone, Smoothie King. I have experienced more fresher smoothies with loyalty rewards. read more

She was a bright spot in a otherwise crazy day and I truly appreciate her help. I can't thank her enough! Clean, fast, and welcoming service. Would definitely come back here again and again with my Green Tea Tango with Peach or Strawberry order.

They are always understaffed on one of their busiest days of the weeks because of their $5 deal on Fridays. The staff are all young, joke and mess around when there's a huge line and people waiting for smoothies. I never see a manager or someone of authority keeping the staff focused on making smoothies or keeping the line moving. The staff have gotten more rude over the past few months and just don't seem to care about moving super slow which has also been a turn off. I used to come here multiple times a week but I've chosen Tropical Smoothie Cafe over this place now. If you have 20 minutes or so to kill for a smoothie, I recommend coming here. Otherwise I advise choose somewhere else. P.S. the guy in front of me went to Safeway and back after he ordered and his order still isn't even close to being done read more

I love Smoothie King, this location especially. I've come here many many times. I've only been unsatisfied ONCE and that was when someone new made my drink. It tasted a little different but was still good nonetheless. All in all, Caribbean Way is my favorite. My kid always gets a Little Angel and he loves it. $5 Friday's are the best days to go of course. I love the owner she once gave me a free coupon because my cup wasn't filled enough according to her standards. It was full to me but I appreciated the attention to detail. I've frequented this establishment twice already. The first time I felt so overwhelmed by the selections, but happy because that goes to show the choices are endless. I can't quite remember what I ordered the first time and I wish I did so I could order it again. It was amazing. The second time around the smoothie was good. Good to know they have a $5 Friday deal going on, not sure when I'll take advantage of that opportunity. The customer service could definitely be better. Worst Smoothie King in Prince George's County! The customer service is horrible! I've visited this location only a few times since it's convenient to my home but after today, but I won't be recommending this location or returning. Your employee (Taryn) desperately needs customer service training...not she how or why anyone would make her a manager. Taryn fixed my pre-paid, $10 smoothie, and failed to fill my cup up all the way. The fill level was unacceptable, if it was just a little low I wouldn't have complained. When I brought it to her attention, she got an instant attitude and told me she couldn't add anymore. I asked for my money back. She told me to give her my name and phone number and she would have the owner call me concerning a refund (what? ...unacceptable) then she walked off and proceeded to help other customers while I stood waiting for my issue to be resolved. I believe the owners name is Tonya Brigham...well Tonya, Taryn, has zero people skills...she was very rude and sarcastic with me. It's a shame black business owners rally to get folks to patronize black businesses but then we treat each other like $*** ; work on your customer service! That's what keeps customers returning! Product is great... I would probably buy daily if this franchise's policy and manager's attitude didn't SUCK!!! Other locations allow me to add my own protein, but not this one. Today they were running a special, medium for $5. I asked can I pay $5 for a small, or not have the nedium filled up, because I didn't want the extra calories. The manager told me NO. It was all of about $.35 difference...she kept going on and on about how happy her customers are and could care less about my requests.
