They also offer a walk up window if you just want to relax with your smoothie. My smoothies are always made on point. Staff are so friendly and work efficiently. Tips for those trying out: For starters, they do use a sweetener called turbinado. It's a cane sugar sweetener. If you prefer to do without, order your option as a skinny. My favorite is the green tea tango. It has matcha, Lean 1 vanilla protein (great for meal replacements). I usually get pineapple with it as my choice of fruits. And of course, get it as a skinny. When I'm on a busy schedule and know I will be missing a meal or two, I make sure to grab a drink here. read more

Trying out all locations in charlotte. I came here yesterday after a nice gym work out. The weather was so nice and it was early in the morning. I see this one had a drive thru and I ordered fine but when getting close to paying the person at the window always a bit rude. Also I ordered a strawberry power drink not too sure what's the name of it but the 2 other locations I've been 2 already made it so tasteful and right. Something was off in the drink. Will try this place one more time hopefully I have. Better experience. read more

Today is bright & blazing hot. I couldn't resist riding past smoothie king without stopping. The line wasn't long and there was only one person in front of me. I didn't know what i wanted but the young lady on the speaker made great suggestions. I observed the cashier change her gloves when we approached the window. I ordered the Caribbean Way Smoothie & it was cooling and delicious. This was my first time visiting this particular Smoothie King but I will definitely be back soon! Had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We chose to do walk up window versus the drive thru. We had to sit there for at least five minutes while multiple employees walked by and just looked at us. I finally knocked on the glass to see if someone would help us and the girl just ignored me and walked off. Later a different woman came up to get our order and open the glass window and looked mad that she was having to take her order. When we said hello, she just glared at us and did not speak. So she never greeted us & acted annoyed the whole time that she was having to take our order and payment. If you do not want to work in customer service, then don't. However, there's no need to be rude to customers. read more

We were in Charlotte for five days and we went to the smoothie place three times. The smoothies were so good and cold and tasty. They were so many selections to choose from that we finally just asked if we could pick our own ingredients. We didn't want Protein added or anything fancy so we chose what you wanted and they made it and it was absolutely delicious. Not really sure what I was expecting here... but whatever it was... what I received wasn't it. Back home we have juice shops and while I realized this wasn't going to be homegrown, local produce with absolutely no sugar I wasn't expecting the sugary mess I got. Now I know what you're thinking, aren't you on the chubby side by a bit? The answer is yes. But for the calories and the sugar intake I could have ran by the gas station and gotten a Reese cup and an energy drink. The matcha didn't taste like any matcha I had had before and the added sugar was so sweet I couldn't drink it. And yes again this girl loves some sweets but not in my smoothie. We had just dropped a car off for service and remembered this smoothie king was around the corner. When we went to place an order the lady answering the drive through was very impatient and rude. When we had placed an order she asked if we had the app, which we said we did. She then proceeded to say "if you had placed an order through the app we would have it ready. It helps us and you if you place an order through the app, okay honey?" She treated us as if we were in the wrong for ordering at a drive through. My order is always made right. I love that there are plenty of options for everyone in my family: vegan, dairy free, gluten free, vegetable-fruit blends and meal replacements. I am really bummed they changed the 5.00 Friday to in App purchases only. It takes away from the family experience of going to pick out a smoothie from the menu. The app is the reason for one star. It is not user friendly and now that I have to use it for the deals it's also a bit inconvenient. read more

Great place. Love the drive through element and staff are typically nice. They are efficient. Sign up for the rewards program so you can earn coupons. The only downfall is that WiFi is spotty over there. Funny thing is a version warehouse/ building is next door. So screen shot your card on your phone or take a pick of your points coupon in advance before you pull up here. Great way to reduce calories and be healthy. My favs are lean 1 vanilla and kale vegan option. Avoid the strawberry lean or flavors it tastes artificial. read more

The customer service here is horrible. It's almost like ordering is a burden to the employees. I placed my order then drove to the window. The employee was on their phone in front of the window not even acknowledging my presence and can clearly see me. Then I tapped on the window and the employee places their phone down and inputs something on the register screen slowly before opening the window before greeting the customer. I am aware the service industry can be cruel at time however it's not the next person's fault for your attitude or dislike for your job. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

There smoothies are good but there are really pricy I would go if I had some cash but really pricy I think you need to lower the prices.

I am at this place almost every morning especially on my clean eating days. The smoothies there help to jump start my morning and gets me started. .I am so in love with the friendly staff and though smoothie can be quite pricey their ongoing deals and $5 Fridays helps to reduce the cost greatly. Caution if you're going to go for lunch to avoid the rush you might want to get there before 12 and after 1:30. read more

I went through the drive thru at this location this afternoon and asked to order a pumpkin smoothie. The boy on the intercom responded by mimicking my accent and calling me "big man" and saying "I don't know big man, you think you can?" I asked him to please use his regular voice and just make my smoothie. He proceeded to make of me, using a fake accent and calling me names. After a few minutes, I just pulled through, got my smoothie and left because my teenage son was with me and he was getting pretty upset. I called the manager when I got home to inform him and he didn't seem to think there was any problem with what the kid did and offered little response. I will never go here again. I can't believe that this is considered acceptable behavior to make fun of a PAYING customer! read more

Was given a coupon for shakes and was excited to use them. Order at the drive thru and got to the window the young lady was rude. She told me I couldn't use two coupons. When I asked why she repeated the same thing. I said you didn't tell me why. She first said that she couldn't do them both on one transaction. I asked if she could ring it separate. So a couple days ago I tried to take my son to a friendly environment for a smoothie. Little did I know smoothie king is far from the place. I had a problem with a girl at the register who appeared to be on her phone. She neglected the fact I was waiting for my smoothie so I park and walk up. This is where I heard the so called manager I think I caught her name it was Sarah. She bad-mouthed several employees and when she Finially stopped her rant I asked for my smoothies. She did not put the lids on my smoothies and refused a straw because she was having a bad day. When I asked for a simple napkin she looked disqusted, maybe customer service isn't her strong point and the company needs to realize that that.
