You have the option to add either chocolate or strawberry to it. I order it with strawberry and I sub the nonfat milk for almond milk, and it is literally the most delicious thing! There are so many choices. That can be good thing but when the girl at the cash register makes you feel like your interrupting her day. It makes you feel anxious. She offered no help. Just stood and stared at me. To ad insult to injury two of the girls only partially had their masks on. The cashier kept taking it off to talk. The cashier was so upset that I asked her to please pull it up her mask, she aggressively started making a smoothie for another customer and knocked over a blender and didn't pick it up. She said "no thank you, I'm fine". You could tell she was upset. The guy who made my smoothie kept his mask on the whole time and was pleasant. I wouldn't have taken one from the girl. I just had a bad experience in Smoothie King in Sandy Springs, and I won't be visiting again. The young lady in there was very rude and didn't have any manners at all. This Smoothie King is like a few others I noted lately, with workers that act like you are a bother and have zero skills in greeting or taking an order until you say "Can I place an order?" seriously bad experience.... Smoothie was okay, but will not return due to the employees and manager that seemed to just hawk over them, but not say a word. Also the store does not accept Level Up App or any cash over a 20. If you own this franchise, you may need to engage before they run all your customers off. read more

Ordered a smoothie because it was close to where I had an appointment. The smoothie was mainly protein powder and just flat out disgusting and did not have the ingredients of the smoothie I ordered. After tasting I went back in to see if it could be remade or something done so it could be tolerable to intake and I was met by another worker with a nasty attitude. This is a great location for me personally! Close to my gym, so it's a perfect 'pick me up' after sweating a ton from a difficult workout! I go to this location a lot and there has only been two smoothies that were not the best; however, anytime either of the twin brothers (I will not call out their names, but anyone reading this most likely knows them, especially their Manager) make a smoothie, it is top-notch! These guys should teach anyone else working there. They always make them the right flavor for what you request as a Customer, and they are smoothies, not water or so thick you cannot drink them. well despite all of the signs about social distancing, face coverings, and capacity, nothing was being done. ALL EMPLOYEES INCLUDING manager where not using masks, no social distancing what so ever. Bad attitude from the manager . I come to smoothie king all the time forgot to add strawberries and asked if she could add them and she said no cause of cross contamination. Didn't make sense because you're supposed to wash the blender after making each smoothie. So now I'm questioning the cleanliness of this location. The smoothie king in Kennesaw double charged me. On Feb 14th they had a bogo going on. On the app I tried to order both but there was not an option to do the 2nd smoothie. When I got to the store I told the rep this & she scanned my app. I asked her was I being charged again and she stated no & I ended up being charged again. I reached out to customer service several times letting them know this was an honest mistake & to please refund. They failed to refund & then stopped responding. The menu just looks overwhelming because there are all sorts of supplements and energy shots you can add to your smoothie. For me, I'm no-frills. I ended up talking to lady behind the counter, telling her what fruits I like and she was able to help me make a choice. Thinking that most smoothies are small, I got a medium size which ended up being HUGE! A medium is 32 ounces. My smoothie had a lot of berries but it was waaaay too sweet. Like, whoa... I had to dilute it with water. I usually only get my smoothies from Arden's Garden but one time a couple of weeks ago I was in the shopping center and decided to grab a smoothie from Smoothie King. It was called the Passion something. They started off by throwing some frozen bananas in the blender so I think to myself,"ok, this doesn't seem too bad" Next, the guy took the blender over somewhere that was blocked from view by a wall. I stretched to see what he was doing and saw he was squirting all these different flavorings and syrups into the smoothie. No telling what was in there. Smoothie King advertises that they use real fruit. The smoothie I picked off the menu listed 3 or 4 different fruits that were supposedly used. I only saw him use 1 of the actual fruits listed. The rest were sugary flavors. Don't get me wrong, the smoothie was good, but it felt like I had just drank a 1 lb. bag of sugar. read more

I have to admit that coming from California to live in Atlanta, my standards for a decent smoothie might be skewed as I was fan of Jamba Juice out there. This being said, I've found Smoothie King to be a major disappointment. Instead of tasting natural and wholesome, these smoothies taste like sugar added to some kind of powder and ice.
