I love playa bowls thank you for making my day with playa bowls and its delicious food and drinks.

This was my first time ever having a playa bowl or smoothie bowl of any kind. Upon arrival I was overwhelmed by all of the different options and ways to create and eat a playa bowl. What toppings should I choice, what base should I get, which flavors would combine. Too much! Once I asked a few questions I was able to taste a few flavors and narrow it down to the two bases I wanted and then the easy part of picking the toppings. Let me say pitaya I initially thought would be nasty. WRONG! It was DELICIOUS and the mango. In regards to toppings I got granola and wasn't a fan at all. If you never had a smoothie bowl give it a try! I know I know smoothie with a spoon when you can use a straw!? It's worth it. The smoothies at playa bowl lack flavor, which is not that much of a surprise. They have limited 15 min parking in front otherwise you have to find a lot or garage. I would like to eat here again but there's a mermaid on the wall and I'm not a huge fan in mermaids and/or Greek mythology. read more

I absolutely adore, playa bowls and love all of their açai bowls that they have. I feel like the açai base is extremely delicious with or without toppings, which is very rare since many places you need the toppings to get a sweet flavor. However, I am deducting one point because The açai was a little chunky. It felt like it was just frozen and unfrozen instead of smooth and creamy, which is rare for playa bowls. read more

One of the best açaí spots in GA! I love their franchises. I'll tell you a little about this location. Ambiance: like other franchises, it's a beachy laid back spot. It would be a great hangout spot if I lived close by. Service: quick and kind! Looks like it's run by young adults, quick service and it's hip. Food: chefs kiss! It's so yummy. Brought my mom for her first playa bowls experience. She was a tad overwhelmed by the large menu but she ended up loving her smoothie. She got one with peanut butter and protein. I had the Electric Mermaid Pitaya Bowl with half açaí base. The açaí is a little sweeter so that gave it all a nice flavor. A perfect healthy on the go breakfast option! soooo good!! I ordered through DoorDash and it came in great packaging that didn't mess up the food at all. The flavors are fresh, sweet, and so filling. It just feels like you're drinking/eating something good for your body, and that's exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be eating more from here in the future. Playa Bowls was amazing!! I was craving an açaí bowl while staying in Perimeter Atlanta and I got exactly what I was looking for. I was impressed by the variety of options they offer as bases for the bowls beside açaí? (Mango, Kale, Coconut, Banana and Pitaya). I enjoyed my Pura Vida bowl with chocolate plant protein and extra granola. The service was quick and professional. The Sandy Springs location also has a nice setting for you to sit and enjoy dining in. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a healthy treat or meal replacement. 10/10 read more

Great new Playa Bowls location! Playa Bowls are so refreshing and perfect. My favorite is the Mango Berry Bowl, which is a mango base topped with granola, strawberries, blueberries, and honey. I like getting half pitaya base and half mango base. They have so many refreshing options and everything is always super fresh. They just opened yesterday, and the cashiers are clearly still working out a few problems but i'm sure that will be fixed shortly. They sadly did not have any change for cash transactions which was odd. This location is very spacious and nice--great ambiance. I'm so glad we finally have a Playa Bowls in this area and look forward to visiting often. read more

This is going to be a great spot for the summer! I tried a mango berry bowl and I thought it was so delicious and refreshing. It was sweet but not too sweet and all the toppings went super well with it. It was also very filling so great as a meal option. The green lola bowl was also pretty good. I was worried it was going to taste green but it didn't and it had a good balance of flavors. It just wasn't as sweet as the mango bowl. We also tried a mermaid juice and that was super refreshing, the ginger added a nice little zing to it. The only thing I didn't love was the smoothie. I had a strawberry banana smoothie and I felt like it was pretty tasteless and not very sweet. It's something I would not go back for but I really liked everything else. The service was relatively quick and pretty helpful with any questions we had. It's got a great vibe and I love the decorations. It does draw a very young crowd who may be a little rude so it's easier to get it to go but overall, it was a great visit. read more

It's been great while it lasted. I started coming here about a year ago, I'm a local and I love to shop businesses in my community. At first the bowls were perfection but overtime and with the change of team members, my bowls became sloppy, watery and simply over priced ... While it's been happening, I've been holding out on hope but today after encountering Jasmine and Aniya. Can't say I'll be back. They were rude and plain nasty. It's a great concept, wonderful business, it's just the people that make the business. read more

The first time my sister told me about this place so I had to try it out. I really really like the scenery and ambience. That's what made me come visit. So many options to choose from on the menu. I ordered the Nica Bowl w/ bananas, but I will definitely try a coconut or mango bowl next time. And the service was great. Overall, it was a great experience. I came here with my girlfriend while she was participating in their Yelp Community Experience. I've had Playa Bowls before but it's been a while. The location of the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. There is enough free parking in the area and we only had to walk a short way to the door. There are various restaurants around and plenty of outdoor seating. When first walking in, the atmosphere was relaxing and set up nicely. The cashier thoroughly took our order and afterward, we chose to sit outside. When I returned inside a couple of minutes later, our order was ready. I ordered the Tropical Acai Bowl and my girlfriend got the Mucho Mango Acai Bowl. They put enough smoothie filling for the bowl and they covered the top of the bowl with the extra ingredients that are included. This location is a little far from where I live but I'd recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

Great new location. The workers are clearly still in training, which is understandable as the place just opened. The system shut down as me and my husband were ordering, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for them to fix it. They were very apologetic. The food was great. I recommend the Nutella açaí bowl. Very delicious! I've been twice now at different times of day. There was a difference in the way the bowl was made due to a difference in staff. But it did not affect the taste in any way, same ingredients just different placement. I like how nice the staff is and very patient. Usually younger workers tend to not care but these workers were great! I would definitely go back. Can't beat great taste and great service. read more

Maybe more training is needed. My bowls are always covered in residue on the outside. Sloppy. Also, the last two times I went there I ordered to go but I had to remind them both times that my order was to go and was handed a lid to cover my bowl myself. I guess the other locations have me spoiled. read more
