When you walk in, you're just hit with amazing scents of street foods (I know the scent since I grew up with it) and it smells delicious!!! However much I want to try some of the food options, full from lunch, I went to the kiosk to order my tea. So much option and I went with one of my favorites from any boba tea place that I go to, the Crème Brûlée boba latte. The kiosk is easy to use and very self explanatory, as I was checking out, the kiosk automatically added a 10% tip to the total. So if you're not one to tip, don't forget to change it. (No judgement here, just putting the information out there) I opted to add additional toppings to my drink, the custard pudding (my absolute favorite). My total came out to almost $10. I almost cancel my order and walked out, but I figure I give it a try. My comparison on this particular tea is to my go to at Sweet Hut's Crème Brûlée milk tea. This is how I normally order my tea, 100% sweet, less ice, boba, and custard pudding. My tea today... the sweetness level is definitely there, the crème brûlée flavor is on point, the boba is nicely al denté (sometimes they can either be overly mushy or undercooked), the tea flavor isn't really there and I wish I tasted the tea more (but maybe there is no tea in this drink, just milk), the custard pudding is a bit gelatinous to my liking, it isn't as smooth as the custard puddings I had at other places or growing up. I also wasn't able to choose a size, so it's only 1 size, and it doesn't say how many ounces it is. Overall, I don't think it's worth $10 for this drink. Probably will go back to try a simple milk tea (which they have a notice saying, boba isn't included and must be added when ordering), and perhaps a street food since it smelled delicious.

Truthfully, I was not a huge fan of what I got this time around LOL. But let me tell you why they're still gonna get a full five from me. 1. No pre-sweetened matcha powders!!! I asked for 0% sugar and that's what I got baby. The only sweetener was from the lychee jelly. Now I wish I could go back and change to a smooth 25%. But that's okay, because it proved to me that this place is legit for customizing sweetness levels. 2. That matcha is the real deal. I didn't get to try it last time as it was back-ordered from Japan, and no lies were told on that front. The drink came out SUPER green and pigmented, and the matcha was very strong. I'd recommend to get the matcha in a milk if you don't like the taste of pure matcha by itself. But it was extremely energizing and had me keyed up, which wasn't my best choice for a 9PM tea LMAO. I just wasn't expecting the matcha to be worth a damn given my experiences at other tea spots... boy was I wrong. 3. Customer service wins me over every time. A customer before me came back in with a complaint about her drink. The barista inspected the situation and was more than happy to take necessary fault, apologize, and make it over for her. Easy peasy. The quality is here, folks. Dare I say, this might be the most solid bubble tea spot I've patronized.

Everything was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. The BBQ pork is tender, sweet, and savory, the garlic noodles are rich and incredibly satisfying, and the chicken dumplings are the perfect appetizer. The staff has also been accommodating with my shellfish allergy, which I really appreciate. If you're trying Food Terminal for the first time, this combination is a must. We started with the dumplings, and they were fantastic--perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Beef Noodles and the Pork Noodles, and both dishes were outstanding. The noodles had the perfect texture, the flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were generous. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We also shared the Mixed Fried Rice, which was excellent. It wasn't just a side dish--it could easily be a meal on its own. It was loaded with ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and had that authentic wok flavor that makes great fried rice so satisfying. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and efficient without ever making us feel rushed. Our server checked on us regularly, answered our questions, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively, modern, and inviting. Even though the restaurant was busy, it was well organized, clean, and had a great energy. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. If you're in the Sandy Springs area and enjoy Asian cuisine, Food Terminal is absolutely worth a visit. Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

In case you are a boba tea fan and still don't know, the origin of bubble tea is Taiwan. This specific shop is labeled as Atlanta, which is still ITP but this shop is in the Doraville Hmart Plaza. If you are looking for any atmosphere and vibes, it's not going to happen here. This shop is set up for pandemic with bullet proof glass and isolated waiting area. Tea is straight forward fruit teas and milk teas, and they taste like old fashioned Taiwanese tea stalls. No frills, and no trendy teas. Just consistent teas. Service is friendly enough, but it's beat to know what you want from the exterior menu window poster before walking in, so you don't hold up the line. Drinks here are not too sweet, so if ordering a citrus tea, order at least 70% sweet (otherwise it will be too sour).

This black tea was full-bodied: rich, slightly malty and cocoa-y, perfectly sweet. I was nervous initially as I'd read this tea has minty notes, but I didn't notice this tbh. - Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea: Noted to be their top seller, this green tea was light and pleasantly floral with minimal sweetness. It grew on me the more I drank, but was overshadowed by how much we liked the previous tea haha. The boba pearls themselves were nicely chewy, no notes. Ambiance is more of a grab-n-go vibe, there are some benches to sit on while waiting for your drink. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!
