Parking is free and always available in the big parking lot shared by all of the businesses in Abernathy Square. No matter which employee has been at the counter taking orders and making the drinks, they've always been quick, efficient, accurate, courteous and helpful with information about the drinks. A variety of teas, lemonades and smoothies are on the menu, which is displayed on easy to read monitors on the wall behind the prep area. There are two benches to sit on in the well lit space while waiting for your order, and no tables or chairs are available, so there's no opportunity to sit and work or visit with others. While you're waiting, you can walk a few steps over into the neighboring Japanese restaurant and decide whether you want to expand your drink break into a full fledged meal. My favorite boba tea is the Bubble Milk Black Tea, with 30% sweetness and less ice. In the many times I've had boba in drinks here, the boba has always had a good consistent chew. The drinks are in firm plastic cups with snap on lids, so the little ones can accidentally (or purposely) squeeze the cups and there won't be too much damage done to your vehicle upholstery on the way home, although if they drop or throw the cup on the floor it'll most likely be game over. If you never had a smoothie bowl give it a try! I know I know smoothie with a spoon when you can use a straw!? It's worth it. The smoothies at playa bowl lack flavor, which is not that much of a surprise. They have limited 15 min parking in front otherwise you have to find a lot or garage. Once I ordered and payed I didn't see anything on the screen that payment went through so I waited at the counter. She then said, " I have someone behind you." She finished three drinks before my two açaí bowls for her "friend" Miss Ashley. Açaís was good service very bad!
