If there was cream cheese in it, I couldn't really tell. The cake itself also had a slightly soapy/perfumey flavor, almost like the batter picked up fragrance from a recently cleaned counter. I'm very sensitive to that taste and it really threw me off. I also tried the Boston Cream Pie cupcake. There was barely any Bavarian cream filling inside, which was disappointing since that's the main reason to order that flavor. The cupcake was also very crumbly, making it difficult to hold and eat. Overall, the shop is cute and the display is beautiful, but the flavors I tried didn't quite deliver. I might give it another try someday in case I just picked the wrong flavors.

My grandma always gets any of the chocolate flavors and she just says it's some of the best ice cream she's ever had and she's 93! I didn't see any sweetener packets anywhere so I'll have to ask them next time if they have any. But the espresso was just what I needed to keep me going. This venue is very cute. They have all sorts of options here besides coffee and chocolates. There are also Italian sodas, gelato, milk shakes and espresso in a scoop of ice cream. The espresso and ice cream combo is definitely a must try the next time I'm in! There is also a happy hour between 4 to 6 so that will be a great time to come in for a sweet treat.
