From burgers and tenders to meatloaf and fried chicken, the food is soooo good. My fried chicken came out sizzling. The food was so good I almost forgot to take a picture of it! HIGHLY recommend stopping in for a good meal.

Did a yelp search for breakfast diners and this one came up. I wanted a good old fashioned diner experience. I walked in from the cold and was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. Was seated immediately. I got the waffle platter. The food was prepared quickly and brought out in segments. They explained the waffle would be out shortly but they put the other plate out. The food was standard fare but the waffle really had a good taste to it, and the butter and syrup was very good. All throughout the staff checked up on me and I was very pleased with the attentiveness. It seems like this is a locally owned place and independent. If you are in the area definitely stop by and support them. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. I would try them again for their lunch and dinner options.

Decent food, friendly service, but not good for gluten free. Had lunch while I was in Smyrna for work several weeks ago. The owner and his wife greeted us, took our orders, he cooked the food, and worked the register when we were leaving. The food was okay. I had a blue cheese burger which was pretty good. I would not, however, recommend this to anyone seeking a gluten free meal. I was able to make it work, but not necessarily a wise decision if you have an allergy. For instance, the owner swore to me that no seasoning ever have gluten in them (which is not true). I might go back, but maybe not.

was on my way to get Greek down the street, and saw a sign that said meatloaf. I had to stop in and try. I was very skeptical at first, inside was very basic, nothing special but, OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is my new favorite place! I live in Murfreesboro and will have to make the 20 minute drive! The owner was kind and super to get along with: I was the only one there so we got to know each other a little. GREAT place. Can't wait to try the other dishes he has!

Don't just go for the food, go for Hana. My family stopped in for lunch and had most items on the menu, The pancakes were fluffy, the corn beef hash delicious and the hot chicken salad exceptional! I came here for the first time on a Saturday right before noon and got pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs. It was seriously so good that I came back the following Monday to get the same thing! The pancakes have powdered sugar on them and they also provide warm syrup to top it with, the sausage is sooo flavorful, and the eggs are scrambled soft and fluffy! The service is fantastic!! When I came in Monday, the owner made me feel like I was family visiting his home. Amazing!!! read more

Everything here is made in house. From the breading on the chicken tenders to the sandwhich bread. The house made cheesecake was perfection. Very excited to return and bring more friends here. After my dumb ass searched Nashville hotels and booked one that I thought was in Nashville I realized it's 18 miles away and my breakfast plans were void so I had to find a new breakfast spot. I just wanted a sausage, potatoes, eggs and toast simple American breakfast this time and nothing more. I jumped on yelp to see what's around me and this place looked ok so I went over. To this day I have never had the free breakfast that comes with the room because I like to get into the community and get some local food. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking and completely empty, my first thought was how does a small town place have 65 reviews and no one in it, in all fairness it was early on a week day. The place was nice/fresh looking with wood floors and decent looking tables/chairs, flat screens and a bar with some taps. The guy working the room was super friendly and into into customer satisfaction, he rocked. The menu is very limited for breakfast, see my picture but it had just what I wanted. I ordered the All American breakfast which comes with a biscuit so I ordered over easy eggs thinking I can't mop up the runny yoke and I was served toast anyway. I was served three eggs because one yoke broke so they made me an extra one to replace it, how cool is that. The sausage patties were super thin but zesty/tasty so I will take that over the bland. The potatoes were the golden deep fried that you hardly see and I like so much. For breakfast on the fly it was exactly what I wanted so my road trip stops are all good so far. I now know why this small town spot has so many reviews, the chipper guy requests I leave a yelp review. I can't complain about anything and it was a great way to start my day. read more

Bread was small but with option of bacon or sausage, I went with sausage and received three round pieces, more than enough. Absolutely delicious! The first time that I came here I had the applewood bacon burger, a friend had the Ruben. Both of our meals were great, the owner of the restaurant checked with us a couple of times to make sure we were enioying our meal and we assured him that everything was great. He told us how everything is prepared fresh in the kitchen. The freshness is noticable. Tonight I took my family back to Smyrna Cafe for dinner. The pork chops were the best that I have had at any restaurant. My wife had the catfish, she really liked it and was very impressed with the coleslaw too. Everyone In our group really liked the food, and the service was great too. They are nice people and really care about the quality of the food that they serve. The owner spoke to us as we ordered about his prior restaurant experience. He told us that he was a chef at the Belle Meade Country Club. It is obvious that he knows how to prepare great food and make a simple meal outstanding. This is not your average meat and three, it is much better. Give it a try, I am sure that you will agree. This place is the best! My family and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Atlanta and we were greeted at the door by the owner. It was around 1:30, just after the lunch crowd, so the place was pretty quiet. He directed us to a large corner booth and recommended some items on the menu. My husband and I ordered the Club Sandwich with sweet potato fries and chicken tenders for our three year old sons, while another member of our party ordered the Caesar Salad. The food came quickly. The sandwich, topped with crispy bacon and roasted turkey and ham had just the right amount of melted cheese and mayo. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders were so fragrant that I had to try a piece - even though my son didn't want to let one piece go. Again, delicious!!! It was delicious and homemade no doubt! I am a southern cook myself so I know the difference! I wish they had a place like this in Bellevue where we are from! I wish them much success and I hope people will come and try them out! And a word to the rude people that commented on Yelp, especially Ron T. I say shame on you for being sarcastic and ugly! I am sure Mr Hana would have welcomed a kind word about his early menu in July! This place is simply wonderful! The owner makes you feel as if he was welcoming you into his home! You can tell that it is very important to him that you enjoy the food! He can accommodate just about any request and do it with joy. The food is made to order, so it might take a bit longer than you are used to in this fast food world, but boy is it worth it! My personal favorites are the eggs Benedict, the Reuben and the Cajun chicken pasta! The meatloaf is also delish! They serve beer, but it is definitely a family friendly place. Our party had entrees that included grilled pork chops, chicken parmesan, and fried catfish. Side dishes included gourmet mashed potatoes, green beans, asparagus, and cole slaw. The decor is so cozy; welcoming you in. The owners are very friendly making you feel like you have found "the place". My wife and I drove by for a long time until a friend told us how good the Cafe was, so we checked it out. We've been back several times now and have enjoyed everything we've eaten. We arrived this past Sunday after closing time and they still served us! The service is so good you feel like family and the food is all cooked on premises so it tastes fantastic. My Favorite hometown Breakfast spot! They make a classic "eggs Benedict" that is on point every time! My kids aren't much for potatoes unless French fries or chips, but that all changed when my kids tried my side of breakfast taters! Family run, they are always pleasant and extremely caring. The team making the food took extra care of us and made me really special by asking if I needed any extras or additions to my meal while they were preparing it. I ordered the kabobs and a Philly cheesesteak, they were both great! The kabobs were loaded with flavor and I didn't want the meal to end. The cheesesteak was juicy and had a great melty cheese flavor to it. Both dishes were a home run and I can't wait to go back. It's amazing to have a nice local spot that we can go to when we're feeling tired.
